Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un flux de produit en microfibres consistant: (A) à mettre en contact des fibres multicomposants découpées ayant une longueur inférieure à 25 millimètres avec un flux aqueux traité dans une zone de boue de fibres pour produire une boue de fibres multicomposants découpées; (B) à mettre en contact la boue de fibres multicomposants découpées avec un flux aqueux chauffé dans une zone de mélange pour produire une boue de fibres multicomposants chauffée; (C) à acheminer la boue de fibres multicomposants chauffée vers une zone d'ouverture de fibres afin d'éliminer une partie du sulfopolyester dispersible dans l'eau pour produire une boue de microfibres ouvertes; puis (D) à acheminer la boue de microfibres ouvertes vers une zone de séparation solide liquide primaire afin de produire le flux de produit en microfibres et un premier flux de solution-mère.
