Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un dispositif d'essuie-glace (1) de type à balai plat qui comprend un élément de support allongé et élastique ainsi qu'un balai d'essuie-glace allongé et extrudé (2) qui est constitué d'un matériau souple, lequel balai d'essuie-glace (2) inclut une rainure longitudinale centrale (3), une bande longitudinale (4) de l'élément de support étant disposée à l'intérieur de ladite rainure (3), laquelle rainure (3) étant dotée d'une caractéristique spéciale selon laquelle elle s'étend dans la direction allant vers le bas sous la bande longitudinale (4) en vue de former un canal creux longitudinal (18) qui est défini par ladite bande longitudinale (4) et une partie inférieure (19) de ladite rainure, la hauteur dudit canal creux (18) à l'emplacement d'un plan longitudinal central dudit balai d'essuie-glace (2) perpendiculaire au pare-brise devant être essuyé étant définie par l'équation suivante : 1/40 W ≤ H ≤ 1/5 W, où W est la largeur de la bande longitudinale et où H est la hauteur du canal creux à l'emplacement d'un plan longitudinal central dudit balai d'essuie-glace perpendiculaire au pare-brise devant être essuyé.
