L'extrémité de la section encastrée dans le corps de l'élément incorporé comporte une rainure annulaire ménagée adjacente à une surface interne et pourvue de surfaces cylindriques latérales internes, rainure à l'intérieur de laquelle un élément annulaire, conçu dans un matériau d'étanchéité flexible, solide, est accouplé à une base et est comprimé à une pression correspondant à une pression de compression du corps. Le résultat technique se traduit par un élargissement de la gamme de raccords de tuyauterie, avec la possibilité de raccorder simultanément un tuyau de polypropylène et un tuyau métallique, et également par une augmentation de la durée de vie des tuyaux en réduisant la probabilité d'occurrence de fuites.
