Abstract
Offenbart ist ein Projektor mit einem Graphical Optical Blackout (Gobo) (8), das in einem zu einem Projektionsobjektiv (10) gerichteten Strahlengang des Projektors angeordnet ist, wobei als Lichtquelle eine LED-Anordnung (1) mit mehreren Licht emittierenden Dioden (LED s) (12a-12d) vorgesehen ist. Der LED-Anordnung ist eine Primäroptik (2) zugeordnet, wobei im Strahlengang zwischen der Primäroptik und dem Gobo eine erste (4) und eine zweite (6) Sammellinse angeordnet sind. Die leuchtende Gesamtfläche der LED-Anordnung wird damit weitgehend in eine Pupille des Projektionsobjektiv abgebildet.

Gobo-Proj ektor
Technisches Gebiet
Die Erfindung geht aus von Gobo-Proj ektoren, mit denen z.B. Bilder und Muster oder Schriften als Werbung oder zur Animation projiziert werden können. Dazu weisen die Projektoren scheibenartige von Licht durchleuchtete bzw. durchstrahlte Graphical Optical Blackout' s (Gobo's) auf, die die Muster, Bilder oder Schriften enthalten.
Stand der Technik
Dokument WO 2010/109385 AI offenbart einen derartigen Gobo-Proj ektor . Dabei kommt als Lichtquelle eine Hochdruck- Gas-Entladungslampe zum Einsatz.
Weiterhin ist es bekannt, zur Steigerung des Wirkungsgrades bzw. der Lichtausbeute als Lichtquelle für Gobo- Projektoren Licht emittierende Dioden (LED's) zu verwenden . Nachteilig an den genannten Gobo-Proj ektoren ist, dass das Ausleuchtung des Gobo's je nach Ausführung des Projektors inhomogen oder ineffizient ist.
Darstellung der Erfindung
Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, einen vorzugsweise kompakten Gobo-Proj ektor zu schaffen, bei dem die Ausleuchtung des Gobo's homogen und effizient ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch einen Projektor mit einem Graphical Optical Blackout (Gobo) , das in einem zu einem
Projektionsobjektiv gerichteten Strahlengang des Projektors angeordnet ist, wobei als Lichtquelle eine LED- Anordnung mit mehreren Licht emittierenden Dioden (LED's) vorgesehen ist. Der LED-Anordnung ist eine Primäroptik zugeordnet, wobei im Strahlengang zwischen der Primäroptik und dem Gobo eine erste und eine zweite Sammellinse angeordnet sind. Die leuchtende Gesamtfläche der LED- Anordnung wird damit weitgehend in die Eingangspupille des Projektionsobjektiv abgebildet. Damit ist ein Gobo- Projektor geschaffen, bei dem die Ausleuchtung des Gobo's homogen und effizient ist.
Die Leuchtioden (LEDs) können (beispielsweise mittels der bekannten Phosphor-Weißkonversionstechnik) weißes Licht einer bestimmten Farbtemperatur (beispielsweise 4500 K) abstrahlen; alternativ dazu können aber auch LEDs verwendet werden, die ein einfarbiges (also wellenlängenmäßig schmalbandiges) Licht aussenden (beispielsweise rotes oder blaues Licht) . Das emittierte Wellenlängenspektrum ist dabei jedoch nicht auf den sichtbaren Bereich des elektromagnetischen Spektrums begrenzt, sondern kann auch den infraroten und ultravioletten Bereich beinhalten.
Besonders vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen finden sich in den abhängigen Ansprüchen.
Bei einer besonders bevorzugten Weiterbildung ist die erste Sammellinse meniskusförmig und im Strahlengang zwischen der Primäroptik und der zweiten Sammellinse angeordnet .
Bei einer besonders bevorzugten Weiterbildung ist die zweite Sammellinse bikonvex und im Strahlengang zwischen der erste Sammellinse und dem Gobo angeordnet.
Um vorhandene Oberflächenstrukturen der LED's (beispiels- weise die Struktur der Leiterbahnen) nicht erkennbar z.B. auf einen Schirm zu projizieren, sind die LEDs um unterschiedliche Drehwinkel mit Bezug zu ihrer jeweiligen optische Längsachse gedreht. Vorzugsweise sind die LED's auf einer gemeinsamen Leiterplatte angeordnet, dann ver- laufen die jeweiligen optischen Längsachsen senkrecht zur Leiterplatte. Die LED's können insbesondere in SMD- Bauweise ausgeführt sein.
Bei einem bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel weist die Primäroptik für jede LED der LED-Anordnung eine plankonvexe Linse auf .
Dabei ist die Ausleuchtung des Gobo's besonders homogen und effizient, wenn jede plankonvexe Linse die Form eines Abschnitts eines Ellipsoids hat.
Eine vorrichtungstechnisch einfache Weiterbildung der Primäroptik ist als einstückiger Glaskörper - vorzugsweise in Glaspresstechnik - gefertigt.
Dabei ist die Ausleuchtung des Gobo's besonders homogen und effizient, wenn vier LED's und vier plankonvexe Primärlinsen vorgesehen sind, die in quadratischer Anordnung zueinander positioniert sind. Die quadratische Kantenlän-
ge (definiert als der kürzeste Abstand der Scheitelpunkte der Linsen voneinander) kann z.B. 11 mm betragen.
Dabei ergibt sich eine minimierte Erkennbarkeit der Oberflächenstrukturen der vier LED's auf der Proj ektionsflä- che, wenn diese um 0°, 45°, 90° und 135° um die optische Längsachse des Gobos gedreht angeordnet sind. Die zweite LED's ist also um 45° zur ersten LED gedreht, und die dritte LED ist um 90° zur ersten LED gedreht, und die vierte LED ist um 135° zur ersten LED gedreht. Dadurch kann auf einen den LED's nachgeschalteten optischen Integrator zur Mischung des Lichts der einzelnen LED's verzichtet werden. Deshalb ist die vorgeschlagene Lösung relativ kostengünstig.
Eine bevorzugte Weiterbildung des Projektor hat einen Nutzlichtstrom von > 500 Im, wobei die Primäroptik und die beiden Sammellinsen und das Projektionsobjektiv jeweils einen Durchmesser von < 50 mm haben.
Das Gobo hat z.B. einen Durchmesser von 30 mm.
Zur Vermeidung von Linsendegradationseffekten, die sich bei Verwendung von Kunststofflinsen ergeben können, beispielsweise durch Wärme und / oder blaues Licht wird es bevorzugt, wenn einzelne oder alle Linsen aus Glas bestehen .
Kurze Beschreibung der Zeichnungen
Im Folgenden soll die Erfindung anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert werden. Die Figuren zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht des Ausführungsbeispiels des erfindungsgemäßem Gobo-Proj ektors ; Fig. 2 eine Leiterplatte mit LED-Anordnung des Ausführungsbeispiels; und
Fig. 3 eine Primäroptik des Ausführungsbeispiels.
Bevorzugte Ausführung der Erfindung
Figur 1 zeigt eine Seitenansicht von wesentlichen Komponenten des Ausführungsbeispiels des erfindungsgemäßen Go- bo-Proj ektors . Er hat eine LED-Anordnung 1, deren Licht in Figur 1 nach rechts abgestrahlt wird. In diesem Strahlengang folgt auf die LED-Anordnung 1 eine Primäroptik 2, dahinter eine meniskusförmige erste Sammellinse 4, dahinter eine konvexe zweite Sammellinse 6. Das von den beiden Linsen 4, 6 gebündelte Licht der LED-Anordnung 1 wird durch ein (nur schematisch angedeutetes) Gobo 8 gelenkt, das einen Durchmesser von 30 mm hat. Das vom Gobo 8 erzeugte Bild wird durch ein Projektionsobjektiv 10 auf eine (nicht gezeigte) Projektionsfläche projiziert. Diese kann z. B. an einem Schirm oder an einer Wand angeordnet sein .
Die LED-Anordnung 1 hat vier einzelne LED's, von denen in Figur 1 nur zwei LED's 12a, 12b dargestellt sind.
Figur 2 zeigt die vier LED's 12a - 12d der LED-Anordnung 1. Diese sind in einem Quadrat mit einer Seitenlänge von
11 mm (gemessen vom jeweiligen Mittelpunkt der LED- Chipfläche) auf einer gemeinsamen Leiterplatte 14 angeordnet. Die LED' s 12a - 12d sind als SMD-Bauteile ausgeführt, die in einer als Linse ausgeführten Vergussmasse eingebettet sind (beispielsweise Typ OSLON von der Firma OSRAM) . Jede LED 12a - 12d hat eine leuchtende Fläche von etwa zwei mm2 und wird mit einer Stromdichte von ca. 700 mA/mm2 betrieben.
Um zu verhindern, dass die Oberflächenstrukturen und /oder Umrisse der vier LED's 12a - 12d im projizierten Bild auf der Projektionsfläche wiederzuerkennen sind, sind die LED's 12a - 12d mit unterschiedlichen Winkeln auf der Leiterplatte 14 montiert. Bei der ersten LED 12a ist in Figur 2 zu erkennen, dass ihre beiden Kontakte in Figur 2 links und rechts angeordnet sind. Diese Lage wird als 0° bezeichnet. Mit Bezug zur ersten LED 12a hat die zweite LED 12b einen Bestückungswinkel von 45°, die dritte LED 12c einen Bestückungswinkel von 90° und die vierte LED 12d einen Bestückungswinkel von 135°. Figur 3 zeigt eine Aufsicht auf die Primäroptik 2 des Ausführungsbeispiels gemäß Figur 1. Der quadratischen Anordnung der LED's 12a - 12d entsprechend (vgl. Figur 2) hat die Primäroptik 2 vier quadratisch angeordnete plankonvexe Linsen 16a - 16d. In Figur 1 ist zu erkennen, dass die plankonvexen Linsen 16a, 16b jeweils benachbart zur zugeordneten LED 12a, 12b eine flächige Seite haben, während sie der ersten Sammellinse 4 zugewandt eine konvex gekrümmte Seite haben. Diese sind entsprechend einem Ellipsoid geformt.
Figur 3 zeigt, dass die vier plankonvexen Linsen 16a - 16d ebenfalls eine quadratische Form beschreiben. Insbesondere beschreiben ihre vier (nicht näher gekennzeichneten) Scheitelpunkte ein Quadrat mit einer Kantenlänge von 11 mm. Die vier Linsen 16a - 16d sind in Glaspresstechnik einstückig mit einer Glasplatte 18 der Primäroptik 2 gebildet .
Figur 1 zeigt beispielhaft den Strahlengang der ersten LED 12a durch die erste plankonvexe Linse 16a und weiter durch die beiden Sammellinsen 4, 6. Dabei ist zu erkennen, dass im Wesentlichen das gesamte von der LED 12a abgestrahlten Lichts durch das Gobo 8 und weiter durch das abschließende Projektionsobjektiv 10 bzw. durch dessen Eintrittsapertur gelenkt wird. Damit wird vom erfindungs- gemäßen Gobo-Proj ektor im Wesentlichen das gesamte von der LED-Anordnung 1 abgestrahlte Licht mit guter Effizienz und mit guter Homogenität durch das Gobo 8 gelenkt. Die Abstände zwischen den LED ' s 12a- 12d und dem Gobo 8 einerseits sowie dem Gobo 8 und dem Projektionsobjektiv 10 andererseits betragen ca. 12 cm bzw. ca. 8 cm. Mit einer daraus resultierenden gesamten optischen Länge von ca. 20 cm und bei einem maximalen Durchmesser der Optiken von 50 mm ist das gezeigte Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Gobo-Proj ektor bei einem Nutzlichtstrom von über 500 Im kompakt aufgebaut.
Claims
1. Projektor mit einem Graphical Optical Blackout (Go- bo) (8) , das in einem Strahlengang innerhalb des Projektors angeordnet ist, wobei als Lichtquelle eine LED-Anordnung (1) mit mehreren LED' s (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) vorgesehen ist, und wobei der LED-Anordnung (1) eine Primäroptik (2) zugeordnet ist, und wobei zwischen der Primäroptik (2) und dem Gobo (8) eine erste und eine zweite Sammellinse (4, 6) angeordnet sind.
2. Projektor nach Anspruch 1, wobei die erste Sammellin- se (4) meniskusförmig ist und zwischen der Primäroptik und der zweiten Sammellinse (6) angeordnet ist.
Projektor nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die zweite Sammellinse (6) bikonvex ist und zwischen der erste Sammellinse (4) und dem Gobo (8) angeordnet ist.
4. Projektor nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die LED's (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) mit unterschiedlichen Drehwinkeln um eine jeweilige optische Längsachse gedreht angeordnet sind.
5. Projektor nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Primäroptik (2) für jede LED (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) der LED-Anordnung (1) eine plankonvexe Linse (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) aufweist.
6. Projektor nach Anspruch 5, wobei jede plankonvexe Linse (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) die Form eines Abschnitts eines Ellipsoids hat.
Projektor nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Primäroptik (2) als einstückiger Glaskörper gebildet ist.
Projektor nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, wobei vier LED's (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) und vier plankonvexe Linsen (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) vorgesehen sind und wobei sowohl die LED's als auch die Linsen jeweils quadratisch angeordnet und jeweils einander gegenüberliegend positioniert sind.
9. Projektor zumindest nach Anspruch 4 und 8, wobei die vier LED's (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) um 0°, 45°, 90° und 135° um die optische Längsachse gedreht angeordnet sind .
Projektor nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Projektor für einen Nutzlichtstrom von > 500 Im ausgelegt ist, und wobei die Primäroptik (2) und die beiden Sammellinsen (4, 6) und ein Projektionsobjektiv (10) jeweils einen Durchmesser von < 50 mm haben.
