Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer lichtemittierenden Vorrichtung, wobei bei dem Verfahren ein gepulster Strom mit einer Pulsfrequenz von einer Treiberschaltung (4) erzeugt wird, die einen zur Strompulsung Taktsignale bereitstellenden Taktgeber aufweist, und eine lichtemittierende Vorrichtung, die funktionell an die Treiberschaltung (4) koppelt und die mit einer oder mehreren organischen lichtemittierenden Dioden (3) gebildet ist, mit dem gepulsten Strom mit einer Pulsfrequenz von etwa 10 kHz bis etwa 100 kHz beaufschlagt wird, wobei gilt: T_PWM < (T_Anstieg + T_Abfall) und wobei T_PWM die Impulslänge für die vom Taktgeber der Treiberschaltung (4) erzeugten Taktsignale und T_Anstieg sowie T_Abfall die Impulsanstiegs- und die Impulsabfallzeit für die an der einen oder den mehreren organischen lichtemittierenden Dioden (3) anliegenden Stromimpulse angeben. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung eine Anordnung.
