Definitions
- the invention relates to a treadmill, in particular a therapeutic treadmill
- Short running band with a running surface and an endless belt guided around two deflection rollers or rollers, preferably driven by a motor.
- Treadmills of the type mentioned are well known from the prior art, these usually have only one from the front to be taken handrail. They usually lack a mature backup of the trainees in case of dangerous falls during training.
- treadmills that hold the trainers from above in the shoulder area or in the hip area.
- elaborate attachment means on the ceiling over the treadmill or a suspension rack are necessary to secure the trainees.
- the known fuses from above can hinder the trainee in training mode or even injure in the event of a fall.
- Wall constructions are omitted for user protection.
- the means for securing against falls in the hip area of the exerciser attack. This gives the trainee a particularly safe feeling while running.
- the arms, but also the legs can be moved freely by the user during exercise because of the support on the hip.
- the treadmill is preferably carried out between the upper run and the lower run of the endless belt and which are preferably associated with the means for securing in the event of a fall.
- This is a particularly compact way to attach the means on the treadmill, without this having unnecessarily large dimensions.
- the treadmill can be formed very short, since no complex handrail construction on the front of the treadmill more must be attached.
- the length of the treadmill can correspond to the step size of an exercising person. It is also advantageous if the means are formed as a support rod securing the trainee.
- Safety means as a support rod increases besides the stability of the
- each support rod is provided several times, preferably exactly twice. By several points of attack on the trainer this is additionally secured.
- the weight is distributed to more than one support rod, so that each support rod carries only a portion of the total down to be derived weight force. In order to provide a greater freedom of movement for the trainee, it has proven to be useful if each one of the support rods are arranged on the left and right sides of the tread, preferably at least in the vicinity of the central transverse axis of the tread.
- Support device for carrying the pelvis of the between the
- Support device catches the trainee in the event of a fall, without this incurs greater injuries or injuries during the collection process.
- the support device is connected to the support rods in each case via at least one joint having a degree of freedom. This increases the freedom of movement of the
- Support device secured trainees. It is advantageous if the support device is a lowered
- the support rods are preferably connected to the frame by an elastic lower part.
- This elastic base can also cushion the pelvis.
- the elastic lower part is formed as a upright position of the user captive biasing device. So patients can also use the treadmill, which still have difficulty with their balance, as they through the
- Pretensioner be pressed in an upright position.
- the support rods are formed tiltable, and preferably have two degrees of translational freedom.
- This limiter preferably allows an angular position of up to 15 degrees, so that in case of a fall, the exerciser is intercepted by the support rods.
- Fig. 1 is a perspective of the treadmill according to the invention.
- FIG. 1 shows a treadmill 1, in particular a therapeutic one
- Short running tape with a tread 2 and a guided around two pulleys 3, preferably driven by a motor endless belt 4 shown.
- Means 5 are provided, with the ability to derive the force exerted by the exerciser weight to secure in the event of a fall down.
- a frame 6 is provided, which is carried out between the upper run 7 and the lower run 8 of the endless belt 4 and to which the means 5 are assigned for securing in the event of a fall.
- the frame 6 can be connected to the frame construction of the treadmill 1 on which the deflection rollers 3 are provided.
- the frame 6, however, shown separated from the frame structure of the guide rollers 3, since it can now be brought by moving between the upper run 7 and the lower run 8 to the desired position of the trainee. For example, it may be preferable to place the frame 6 farther back on the tread 2, i. distanced from the central transverse axis of the treadmill 1, to position.

- Support rod 9 formed, which here several times, in the shown
- Embodiment is provided exactly twice.
- one of the support rods 9 is arranged on the left and right sides of the tread 2, in the vicinity of the central transverse axis of the tread 2.
- a supporting device 10 is provided for supporting the pelvis of the trainees located between the support rods 9.
- This support device 10 is connected to the support rods 9 via a respective one degree of freedom exhibiting joint 14 and the support device 10 has a belt system.
- the support rods 9 are connected to the frame 6 by an elastic lower part 1 1, which is formed as a upright position of the user captive biasing device.
- the support rods 9 are formed tiltable and have shown in the
- Embodiment two translational degrees of freedom.
- an inclining restrictor 12 is also provided.
- a support rod length regulating adjusting device 13 is arranged above the limiter 12.
