Abstract

초음파 용접 장치와 방법이 제공된다. 상기 장치는 하우징에 작동 가능하게(operably) 결합되어 있는 초음파 용접 혼(ultrasonic welding horn)을 포함한다. 상기 장치는 또한, 상기 하우징에 작동 가능하게 결합되어 있는 앤빌(anvil)을 포함한다. 상기 장치는 또한, 상기 초음파 용접 혼의 외면의 일부 주위에 결합되는 착탈식 컬러 어셈블리(removable collar assembly)를 포함한다. 상기 착탈식 컬러 어셈블리는 적어도 제 1 및 제 2 세트 나사(set screw)를 가지고 있고, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 세트 나사는, 그 중 적어도 어느 하나가 상기 하우징을 향해 안쪽으로 이동할 경우, 이동식 컬러 어셈블리가 초음파 용접 혼을 회전시켜 앤빌에 대해 초음파 용접 혼을 정렬하도록, 하우징에 접촉되어 있는 것으로 구성되어 있다.
