Description

Cigarette package and method for printing cigarette package
The present invention relates to a cigarette package and a technique for printing a cigarette package.
2. Description of the Related Art Soft pack type packages, hard box type packages, and the like are known as packages that contain articles such as tobacco products. Also, in these cigarette packages, brand names, company names, and the like are printed on the surface of the package using various printing techniques.
On the other hand, printing technology using high-luminance metal ink is known as one of existing printing technologies, not limited to cigarette package printing (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). For example, Patent Document 1 includes a base material layer, a color printing layer formed by printing using a color ink on the base material layer, and printing using a high brightness ink on the color printing layer. Further, there has been disclosed a printed matter comprising a high-brightness printing layer and a protective layer that protects the surface and imparts gloss on the high-brightness printing layer.

In a conventional printed matter provided with a high brightness print layer, it is common to provide a protective layer on the high brightness print layer. Moreover, the printing technique using high-intensity metal ink is also used for the printing of a cigarette package. Here, FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an example of a conventional cigarette package. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the paper body constituting the main body of the cigarette package printed by the conventional printing technique, corresponding to the aa cross section of FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, when using a high-intensity metal ink for a cigarette package, in the prior art, a protective layer such as OP varnish was provided on the high-intensity metal ink. However, when a protective layer is provided on the high-brightness metal ink, there is a concern that the brightness feeling is lowered. The luminance indicates the brightness of the object surface, and the gloss indicates the gloss (gloss) of the object surface.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a technique for improving the brightness feeling of a cigarette package using a high-intensity metal ink as compared with the conventional technique.
In the present invention, in order to solve the above-described problems, the hierarchical structure of the ink is changed between the area where the high-intensity metal ink is used and the area where the ink other than the high-intensity metal ink is used.
More specifically, the cigarette package according to the present invention includes a base paper constituting the main body of the cigarette package, at least one color ink layer made of color ink formed on the base paper, and the color ink layer. A protective layer that is formed thereon and protects the color ink layer; and a high-brightness metal ink layer made of high-brightness metal ink that covers at least a part of the protective layer.
The cigarette package according to the present invention is characterized by having a high-intensity metal ink layer covering at least a part of the protective layer. In other words, in the present invention, in the region where the high-brightness metal ink layer is printed, the protective layer is arranged not as an upper layer of the high-brightness metal ink layer but as a lower layer of the high-brightness metal ink layer, that is, a base. Thereby, the fall of the brightness | luminance feeling which generate | occur | produces by providing a protective layer on a high-intensity metal ink layer can be avoided. As a result, the luminance feeling can be improved as compared with the conventional case. In addition, a color ink layer and a protective layer are printed in order from the surface of the base paper below the high-brightness metal ink layer, and surface irregularities are reduced each time each layer is formed. That is, the roughness of the surface of the base paper is smoothed by printing the color ink layer, and further smoothed by forming a protective layer on the color ink layer. As described above, since the high-brightness metal ink layer is printed after the base treatment is performed stepwise, the brightness feeling can be improved as compared with the conventional case. In addition, the high-intensity metal ink layer of this invention has sufficient durability. Therefore, for example, in an existing cigarette wrapping machine, a cigarette package blank on which printing of the present invention has been performed can also be used.
Cigarette packages include soft pack type packages and hard box type packages. The form of the cigarette package is not particularly limited as long as it is a package that can accommodate tobacco products.
Here, the cigarette package according to the present invention may further include a high luminance metal ink region having the high luminance metal ink layer on the outermost layer and a color ink region having the protective layer on the outermost layer. In the high-brightness metal ink region, the high-brightness metal ink layer is located on the outermost layer, so the brightness feeling can be improved compared to the conventional package in which the protective layer is printed on the high-brightness metal ink layer. it can. On the other hand, the color ink layer can be protected by the protective layer in the color ink region which is a region other than the high-luminance metal ink region.
Also, in the cigarette package according to the present invention, the high brightness metal ink layer may be a layer made of leafing type ink. By using the leafing type ink, the leaf-shaped metal pieces are scattered and formed on the upper part of the high-brightness metal ink layer so that the color ink layer is less affected by the color ink layer. As a result, the brightness feeling can be improved.
Further, in the cigarette package according to the present invention, the surface of the high brightness metal ink layer may be subjected to a pressing process for smoothing the surface. By performing the pressing process, the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer is further smoothed, and the brightness feeling is further improved.
Further, the cigarette package according to the present invention is a high-brightness metal ink region having the high-brightness metal ink layer on the outermost layer, a color ink region having the protective layer on the outermost layer, and the high-brightness metal ink region, You may make it further provide the anchor layer which is formed on a protective layer and raises the adhesive force of a protective layer and high-intensity metal ink. By providing the anchor layer, the adhesive force between the protective layer and the high-intensity metal ink can be increased. Moreover, the anchor layer is provided on the protective layer, and the surface of the cigarette package becomes smoother.
Here, the present invention can be specified as a method for printing a cigarette package. That is, the present invention is a method for printing a cigarette package, comprising: a color ink layer printing step of printing at least one color ink layer on a base paper constituting the main body of the cigarette package; And a protective layer printing step for forming a protective layer for protecting the color ink layer, and a high luminance metallic ink layer printing step for printing a high luminance metallic ink layer covering at least a part of the protective layer.
According to the present invention, by printing a high-brightness metal ink layer covering at least a part of the protective layer, in the region where the high-brightness metal ink layer is printed, the protective layer is not an upper layer of the high-brightness metal ink layer, It is arranged as a lower layer of the high brightness metal ink layer, that is, as a base. As a result, it is possible to avoid a decrease in luminance caused by providing a protective layer on the high-luminance metal ink layer, and it is possible to improve the luminance feeling compared to the prior art. In addition, since the high-brightness metal ink layer is printed after the base treatment is performed in stages, the brightness feeling can be improved as compared with the prior art.
Further, in the cigarette package printing method according to the present invention, the high luminance metal ink layer printing step is performed as the outermost layer printing step, and the high luminance metal ink region having the high luminance metal ink layer is formed on the outermost layer, The protective layer printing step may be performed as the outermost layer printing step to form a color ink region having the protective layer on the outermost layer.
In the cigarette package printing method according to the present invention, in the high brightness metal ink layer printing step, the high brightness metal ink layer may be printed using leafing type ink. By using the leafing type ink, a leaf-like metal piece is formed in a leafing shape on the upper part of the high-brightness metal ink layer, so that it is difficult to be influenced by the color of the color ink layer such that the color ink layer is transparent. As a result, the brightness feeling can be improved.
Further, the cigarette package printing method according to the present invention may further include a pressing process for applying a pressing process to smooth the surface of the high brightness metal ink layer. By applying the pressing process, the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer is further smoothed, and the brightness feeling is further improved.
Moreover, the cigarette package printing method according to the present invention performs the high-brightness metal ink layer printing step as the outermost layer printing step, and forms a high-brightness metal ink region having the high-brightness metal ink layer on the outermost layer, The protective layer printing step is performed as the outermost layer printing step, a color ink region having the protective layer is formed on the outermost layer, and the high-intensity metal ink region is formed on the protective layer. You may make it further provide the anchor layer formation process which forms the anchor layer which raises the adhesive force with a brightness | luminance metal ink. By forming the anchor layer, the adhesive force between the protective layer and the high brightness metal ink can be increased.
According to the present invention, the brightness feeling of the cigarette package using the high-brightness metal ink can be improved as compared with the conventional case.

Next, an embodiment according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In addition, embodiment described below is an illustration for implementing this invention, and this invention is not limited to the aspect demonstrated below.
 <構成>
<Configuration>
A cigarette package 1 according to the embodiment (hereinafter simply referred to as a package) is a hard box type package as shown in FIG. The package 1 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape including a main body 2 and a lid portion 3, and the lid portion 3 can be opened and closed with a hinge 4 at the upper back of the main body 2 as an axis. Inside the package 1, cigarettes (filter cigarettes, double-cut cigarettes (no filter)), cigars (cigars), cigarillos, smokeless cigarettes (cig cigarettes, cigarettes), electronic cigarettes, etc. can be accommodated in the package 1 is there. The package 1 is printed with brand name, company name, content display, and the like, and high-intensity metal ink is used as part of the printed display. In the present embodiment, a hard box type package will be described as an example. However, the form is not particularly limited as long as the package can accommodate tobacco products such as a soft pack type package.
Here, FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional view of the paper body constituting the printed package corresponding to the aa cross section of FIG. As shown in FIG. 4, the paper body of the package 1 according to the embodiment is subjected to printing, whereby the base paper 21, the first ink layer 22, the second ink layer 23, the OP varnish layer 24, and the dedicated anchor layer 25. The high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is used.
The base paper 21 is a paper base material that constitutes the main body 2 and the lid 3 of the package 1. As the base paper 21, one-side coated paper, art post paper, cast coated paper, or the like can be used. By using a paper with a smooth surface as the base paper 21, it is possible to enhance the brightness.
The first ink layer 22 and the second ink layer 23 are layers formed by printing color ink on the surface of the base paper 21. The first ink layer 22 and the second ink layer 23 correspond to the color ink layer according to the present invention. The first ink layer 22 and the second ink layer 23 are layers that represent the design of the package 1 and represent brands, company names, content displays, and the like other than the region where the high-intensity metal ink is used. In FIG. 4, two types of ink layers are formed as the color ink layers, but the number of color ink layers can be changed as appropriate according to the design of the package. The region where the high brightness metal ink is used corresponds to the high brightness metal ink region of the present invention, and the other region corresponds to the color ink region of the present invention.
The OP varnish layer 24 is a layer formed by performing OP (Over Print) varnish processing on the surface of the color ink layer (in the present embodiment, the second ink layer). The OP varnish layer 24 corresponds to the protective layer according to the present invention. The OP varnish layer 24 protects the color ink layer from scratches and dirt, and also gives gloss to the surface of the color ink layer. The OP varnish layer 24 is the outermost layer in a region other than the region where the high brightness metal ink is used.
· OP varnish is classified into three types: UV, oily and aqueous. Since high brightness metal ink is oily, it is desirable that OP varnish is also oily. The three kinds of OP varnishes are further classified into a gloss type and a mat type, respectively. In the present embodiment, it is desirable to use a gloss type in order to further smooth the surface. Furthermore, examples of the characteristics required for the OP varnish of the cigarette package include slipperiness, friction resistance, heat resistance, and light resistance. In this embodiment, it is desirable that the OP varnish in the region where the high-brightness metallic ink is used has particularly low slipperiness (high friction coefficient, smooth surface). On the other hand, it is desirable that the OP varnish in the region other than the region where the high-brightness metal ink is used has high slipperiness. Therefore, the OP varnish layer 24 may be formed using a plurality of OP varnishes having different characteristics. For example, the OP varnish 24 may be formed by varnishing OP varnishes having different characteristics for each region. Alternatively, the OP varnish may be formed using OP varnish having high slipperiness, and varnishing using OP varnish having lower slipperiness only in the region where the high-brightness metal ink is used. Good.
The dedicated anchor layer 25 is a layer formed by applying an anchor coating agent (hereinafter also simply referred to as an anchor) in order to enhance the adhesiveness of the high-brightness metal ink. By forming the dedicated anchor layer 25, the adhesiveness of the high brightness metal ink can be further increased. The dedicated anchor layer 25 may be omitted, and the high brightness metal ink layer 26 may be formed directly on the OP varnish layer 24.
¡Anchors are classified into three types: UV, oily, and aqueous. Since the high-intensity metal ink is oily, it is desirable that the anchor is oily. Furthermore, the properties required for the anchor of the cigarette package include adhesion and smoothness with the layer in contact with the anchor. In this embodiment, it is desirable that the anchor has high adhesion and smoothness.
The high brightness metal ink layer 26 is a layer formed by printing high brightness metal ink on the dedicated anchor layer 25 or the OP varnish layer 24. In other words, the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is formed so as to cover a part of the dedicated anchor layer 25 or the OP varnish layer 24. In this embodiment, vapor deposition aluminum leaf type ink is used as the high brightness metal ink. Thereby, the leaf-like aluminum piece is formed in a leafing shape on the upper part of the high-brightness metal ink layer so that the leaves are scattered and folded. Accordingly, the leaf-shaped aluminum piece is present at a position close to the surface, and it is difficult to be influenced by the color of the color ink layer such that the color of the color ink layer is transparent. As a result, the brightness feeling can be improved.
It is desirable that the high brightness metal ink is oily. Examples of the high-intensity metal ink include Super Silver (trade name) manufactured by DIC Corporation, NK-deposited silver (trade name) manufactured by T & K Corporation, and Silver King Leo (trade name) manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd.
In the present embodiment, the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is embossed, and the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is smoothed. Thereby, irregular reflection on the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is suppressed, and the brightness feeling is further improved. The embossing corresponds to the pressing according to the present invention. Instead of embossing, debossing or embossing may be performed.
Here, FIG. 5 shows a detailed cross-sectional view of a paper body constituting a package on which printing according to the embodiment is performed. In FIG. 5, for convenience of explanation, the surface of the base paper 21 and each layer is highlighted. As shown in FIG. 5, the surface of the base paper 21 has irregularities, but the surface is smoothed in steps by forming the first ink layer 22, the second ink layer 23, and the OP varnish layer 24. Has been. That is, the high-brightness metallic ink layer 26 is printed on the OP varnish layer 24 whose surface is most smoothed via the dedicated anchor layer 25. The adhesion between the OP varnish layer 24 and the high brightness metal ink layer 26 is improved by using the dedicated anchor layer 25. Moreover, the high brightness metallic ink layer 26 is formed on the OP varnish layer 24 whose surface is most smoothed via the dedicated anchor layer 25, thereby improving the brightness.
6A shows a detailed cross-sectional view of the high-intensity metal ink layer that has been embossed, and FIG. 6B shows a detailed cross-sectional view of the high-intensity metal ink layer that has not been embossed. In FIGS. 6A and 6B, for convenience of explanation, the unevenness on the surface of the leaf-shaped aluminum piece and the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is also highlighted. As shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, a leaf-shaped aluminum piece is formed in a leafing shape (so that the leaves are scattered and folded) on the high-brightness metal ink layer 26. As a result, the color ink layer (not shown) in the lower layer of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is hardly affected by the color ink layer such as the color being transparent, and the brightness feeling is improved. Moreover, the surface of the high-intensity metal ink layer 26 is smoothed by embossing the surface of the high-intensity metal ink layer 26. As a result, the light incident on the surface of the high-brightness metallic ink layer 26 is not diffusely reflected but is regularly reflected, and the brightness feeling is further improved.

<Printing method>
FIG. 7 shows steps of the printing method according to the embodiment. The printing method according to the present embodiment is most preferably performed by gravure printing having an excellent ink transfer amount. However, the printing method according to the present embodiment can also be realized by a known printing technique such as offset printing or offset UV printing. In the case of gravure printing, printing can be performed using a known gravure printing machine. In addition, in the case of using another known printing technique, printing can be performed using a printing machine corresponding to the known printing technique.
In the color ink layer printing step (S01), a color ink layer is printed on the base paper 21. In the present embodiment, the first ink layer 22 and the second ink layer 23 are formed as the color ink layer. The color ink to be used is appropriately selected according to the design of the package 1. Next, in the OP varnish processing step (S02), the OP varnish layer 24 is formed by performing OP varnish processing on the surface of the color ink layer (second ink layer 23 in the present embodiment). The OP varnish processing step corresponds to the protective layer printing step of the present invention. The formed OP varnish layer 24 is the outermost layer in a region other than the region where the high brightness metal ink is used.
Next, in the region where the high-intensity metal ink is used, an anchor coating agent is applied on the OP varnish layer 24 in the dedicated anchor processing step (S03), and the dedicated anchor layer 25 is formed. Note that this step (dedicated anchoring step) may be omitted, and a high-intensity metal ink layer printing step, which will be described later, may be performed after the OP varnishing step.
In the high brightness metal ink layer printing step (S04), the high brightness metal ink is printed on the dedicated anchor layer 25 or the OP varnish layer 24 to form the high brightness metal ink layer 26. In this embodiment, vapor deposition aluminum leafing type ink is used as metal ink. The vapor deposited aluminum leaf type ink is obtained by the method shown in FIG. 8, for example. That is, aluminum is heated and evaporated in a container (vacuum container), and the evaporated aluminum is adhered to a substrate disposed away from the aluminum. Thereafter, the aluminum piece adhered to the substrate is peeled off, and the peeled aluminum piece is mixed with the color ink. As for silver, vapor-deposited aluminum leaf type ink may be used alone. For gold, red metallic color, and blue metallic color, color inks such as yellow, red, and blue may be mixed with vapor-deposited aluminum leaf type ink, respectively. As described above, vapor deposition aluminum leafing type ink of any color can be obtained.
Next, in the embossing process (step S05), the surface of the high brightness metal ink layer 26 is embossed. Thereby, the surface of the high-intensity metal ink layer 26 is smoothed. The embossing corresponds to the pressing according to the present invention. Instead of embossing, debossing or embossing may be performed. Thus, the package printing process ends.
 <効果>
<Effect>
In the package 1 according to the embodiment described above, the OP varnish layer 24 is disposed not as an upper layer of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 but as a lower layer of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26, that is, as a base in the region where the high-brightness metal ink is printed. Is done. Thereby, it is possible to avoid a decrease in luminance caused by providing a protective layer such as the OP varnish layer 24 on the high luminance metal ink layer 26. As a result, the luminance feeling can be improved as compared with the conventional case. In the package 1 according to the present embodiment, the first ink layer 22 and the second ink layer 23 are formed in order from the surface of the base paper 21 below the high brightness metal ink layer 26, and the surface of each layer is stepwise. Smoothed. Further, the OP varnish layer 24 is formed on the second ink layer 23, thereby further smoothing. As described above, the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is formed after the base treatment is performed stepwise, and thus the brightness feeling can be improved as compared with the conventional case. In addition, a dedicated anchor layer 25 is formed between the OP varnish layer 24 and the high-brightness metal ink layer 26, and the adhesive force between the OP varnish layer 24 and the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is enhanced. Further, since the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is embossed, the surface of the high-brightness metal ink layer 26 is also smoothed. As a result, irregular reflection on the surface of the high-brightness metallic ink layer 26 is suppressed, and the brightness feeling is further improved.
The preferred embodiments according to the present invention have been described above, but the cigarette package and the cigarette package printing method according to the present invention are not limited to these, and combinations thereof can be included as much as possible.
