Abstract

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines langgestreckten mechanischen Bauteils, wobei ein induktives Härten und/oder Anlassen zum Zwecke der Materialvergütung durch einen induktiven Erwärmungsprozess in inerter oder chemisch reduzierender Atmosphäre ausgeführt wird, wobei sich das Bauteil im wesentlichen bis zur Abkühlung mit dem Abkühlmedium in dieser Atmosphäre befindet, und dadurch die Oxidation an Sauerstoff im wesentlichen vermieden wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die inerte bzw. reduzierende Atmosphäre in einer kleinen Kammer erzeugt wird, die aus elektrisch nicht leitendem Material, vorzugsweise Glas oder Keramik, besteht, und das Bauteil nach der Erwärmung in die Abkühlvorrichtung geführt wird.
