Abstract
In order, in addition to the mechanical power, to extract heat from a gas turbine, according to the invention the combustion gases flow through a heat exchanger (3) downstream of the combustion chamber (1) and the combustion chamber is additionally surrounded by a cooling shell space (6), through which cooler combustion air which is to be fed to the combustion chamber (1) is guided. The shell space (6) can also be configured as a heat exchanger (3') for heat extraction.
