Abstract

The invention relates to a transmission device for a rail vehicle (10) for transmitting signals between a route-side signal device (28) and the rail vehicle (10), having a vehicle-side antenna device (34) which is mechanically coupled, at least during operation, to a rail vehicle base body (16), at least a first antenna unit (36.1) which is provided for bringing about the transmission with a route-side signal device (28) according to a first route-side transmission system, and at least a second antenna unit (36.2, 36.3) which is provided for bringing about the transmission with a route-side signal device according to a second route-side transmission system. In order to make available a transmission device of the generic type by means of which an installation which meets installation regulations can be achieved by at least two antenna units with a high degree of flexibility and low expenditure, it is proposed that the transmission device has a drive unit (38) which is provided for bringing about a movement of at least one of the antenna units (36.1, 36.2, 36.3) relative to the rail vehicle base body (16) at least for the purpose of changing between the route-side transmission systems.
