Abstract
과전압 보호 회로를 포함하는 스위칭 모드 전력 공급 장치가 개시된다. 과전압 보호 회로는 피드백 전압 비교부, 및 듀티비 조절부를 포함한다. 피드백 전압 비교부는 스위칭 모드 전력 공급 장치의 출력단에서 검출된 피드백 전압과 스위칭 모드 전력 공급 장치에 대해 설정된 과전압보다 작게 미리 설정된 기준 전압을 비교하고, 듀티비 조절부는 피드백 전압이 기준 전압보다 높은 경우 스위칭 모드 전력 공급 장치의 스위칭 듀티비를 감소시킨다. 피드백 전압이 과전압에 이르를 때부터 갑자기 전원 장치의 스위칭을 오프(off)로 유지시키는 것이 아니라, 피드백 전압이 과전압보다 낮은 기준 전압을 초과하는 경우 미리 전원 장치의 온/오프 스위칭 비율을 조절함으로써, 출력 전압의 과전압 상태를 미리 방지할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 시스템의 안정성도 증가시킬 수 있게 된다.
