Abstract

The present invention relates to an electrically drivable vehicle having a plurality of electrical energy accumulators (03, 08) such as, for example, an electric car having a battery (03) and a plurality of capacitors (08). The invention is represented, on the one hand, by an electrically drivable vehicle which comprises a plurality of drive units (02) for driving the vehicle. The drive units (02) each have at least one electric motor (11). The vehicle comprises decentralized electrical energy accumulators (08) for feeding, in each case, one of the electric motors (11). Furthermore, the vehicle comprises a central electrical energy accumulator (03) for feeding the decentralized electrical energy accumulators (08), which central electrical energy accumulator (03) also permits direct feeding of the electric motors (11). The vehicle also comprises a control unit (13) for controlling the currents flowing between the central electrical energy accumulator (03) and the decentralized electrical energy accumulators (08). According to the invention, in a totality of the decentralized electrical energy accumulators (08), a quantity of energy can be stored in order to accelerate the vehicle to an operating speed of the vehicle, while in the central electrical energy accumulator (03) a quantity of energy for moving the vehicle over an operating range of the vehicle can be stored.
