Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Wasserstoff mittels Elektrolyse, mit einer Gleichstromquelle und pulsierendem Gleichstrom als elektrischer Energie für die Elektrolyse, sowie einem Elektrodenraum (3) mit einer Elektrolytflüssigkeit, der zumindest eine Anode (13; 113; 213; 313; 413) und zumindest eine Kathode (5; 105; 205; 305; 405) aufweist, die aus gleichem oder voneinander verschiedenem, elektrisch leitfähigem, widerstandsarmem Material gebildet sind. Jeweils zwischen Anode (13; 113; 213; 313; 413) und Kathode (5; 105; 205; 305; 405) ist zumindest eine neutrale Platte (7; 107; 207; 307; 407) aus oxidationsresistentem, elektrisch leitfähigem Material angeordnet. Die jeweils einander zugewandten Flächen von Anode (13; 113; 213; 313; 413), neutraler Platte (7; 107; 207; 307; 407) und Kathode (5; 105; 205; 305; 405) weisen eine Oberflächenstruktur mit hoher Oberfläche auf. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Wasserstoff, daß in der Vorrichtung durchgeführt wird, sowie bevorzugte Verwendungen.
