Abstract
L'invention concerne une sonde neuronale (10) pour une communication in vivo avec un tissu biologique, comprenant la stimulation de neurones et/ou l'enregistrement de l'activité électrique neuronale. La sonde (10) peut être construite de telle sorte que la réponse immunitaire par le tissu biologique dans lequel le dispositif est implanté est réduite par rapport à des sondes implantables connues. La sonde (10) peut comporter une pointe (16) qui a une configuration ramifiée, des électrodes (24) se trouvant le long de chacune des ramifications (20). Un revêtement biodégradable (18) est disposé sur au moins la pointe (16) de la sonde (10) pour doter la sonde (10) d'une intégrité suffisante pour une introduction dans le tissu biologique et pour se dégrader après introduction. Le revêtement biodégradable (18) peut avoir un médicament anti-inflammatoire ou un autre agent biologique distribué dans celui-ci pour une libération localisée de l'agent biologique pour réduire davantage la réponse immunitaire.
