Abstract
There is provided an impact test apparatus, the apparatus comprising: a pulling rod that receives a tensile load applied from a tensioning device; an energy frame that receives the tensile load transferred from the pulling load, converts the transferred tensile load to elastic energy, stores the elastic energy in a plurality bar-shaped bodies positioned at both lateral sides of the energy frame symmetrically with respect to a sample as a target object of an impact test therebetween, converts the stored elastic energy to an impact pulse when the tensile load transferred from the pulling rod is cut, and transfers the impact pulse to the sample through the plurality of bar-shaped bodies; and a connecting member that connects the pulling rod and the energy frame and cuts the tensile load transferred from the pulling rod to the energy frame when a preset threshold tensile load is applied.
