Abstract

본 발명은 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에, 일방의 단말에 상대방 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주의 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 디스플레이하는 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명은, 앱 스토어 또는 관리서버로부터 내려받은 애플리케이션 프로그램이 단말에 설치되면, 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말 사용자의 프로필 또는 이미지 정보를 등록받아 관리서버에 송출하고, 상기 관리서버가 전송하는 서비스 가입자의 콜러링 또는 광고주의 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 수신받아 단말의 저장 영역에 저장한다. 이어서, 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸면, 발신단말과 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 호접속 시도를 감지하고 프로그램 실행을 시작하고, 단말의 저장영역으로부터 또는 관리서버로부터 착신자 이미지 정보 또는 광고이미지 정보를 전달받아 발신단말에 디스플레이한다.

Description

영상 콜러링 또는 광고 콘텐츠를 단말에 디스플레이하는 관리서버 제어방법
본 출원발명은 2011. 4. 26.자 국제출원 PCT/KR2011/003014을 기초출원으로 하여 우선권 주장하는 출원발명으로서, 우선권 주장의 기초출원은 착신단말에 발신자 이미지 정보 또는 광고이미지 정보가 디스플레이되는 기술을 제공하고 있다. 이에 부가하여, 본원 발명은 전화를 걸 때에 발신단말에도 상대방, 즉 착신자 이미지 정보 또는 광고이미지 정보를 디스플레이하는 기술을 제공하고 있다.
즉, 본 발명은 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에, 상대방의 프로필 정보뿐 아니라 상대방이 등록한 이미지 정보를 자신의 단말에 디스플레이하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에, 광고주가 미리 등록한 광고 이미지 정보를 발신자 또는 착신자 단말에 디스플레이하여 광고효과를 발생시키는 기술에 관한 것이다. 여기서, 이미지 정보는 상대방이 등록한 정지 이미지, 동영상, 플래시, 문자형태의 텍스트 정보 중 어느 하나 또는 이들의 조합을 포함할 수 있으며, 본 발명에 따라 단말에 디스플레이되는 통화 상대방 이미지 정보를 소위 "영상 콜러링"이라 부를 수 있으며, 상대방 전화의 전화번호(caller ID), 이름 등 문자로 표시되는 프로필, 이미지 등을 포하할 수 있다. 또한, 광고주의 광고 이미지를 "영상 광고 콘텐츠"라 부르기로 한다.
본 발명은 인터넷폰, 휴대폰, 스마트폰, 스마트 TV 등에 적용가능하며, 예를 들어 바이퍼(VIPER), 마이 피플, 올리브폰, 카카오톡, 구글 보이스 등과 같이 데이터망을 이용하여 음성 또는 화상 통신 서비스를 제공하는 애플리케이션 프로그램에 적용 가능하다.
현재 통용되는 발신자정보 표시기술은, 착신 교환기가 착신단말에 발신단말의 전화번호(콜러 아이디; caller ID) 정보를 전송하면, 착신단말은 주소록에 저장되어 있는 발신자의 사진 또는 프로필을 착신단말에 표시하는 방식, 또는 발신자가 송신한 발신자 정보를 문자로 표시하는 방식에 의존하고 있다.
따라서, 종래기술은 착신단말에 저장된 발신자의 사진과 이름, 전화번호 이외에는, 발신자가 직접 제작한 사진, 이미지, 애니메이션, 동영상 등을 착신단말에 디스플레이하는 것이 불가능하다. 또한, 종래기술은, 착신 링이 울리는 동안에 또는 링백 톤이 울리는 동안에, 광고 사진, 광고 애니메이션 등 광고주가 제공한 이미지 또는 동영상 콘텐츠를 발신단말 또는 착신단말에 디스플레이하여 광고효과를 기대하는 것이 불가능하다.
따라서, 본 발명의 제1 목적은 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에, 미리 설정된 상대측 정보 또는 광고정보를 착신단말 또는 발신단말에 디스플레이하는 기술을 제공하는 데 있다.
본 발명의 제2 목적은 상기 제1 목적에 부가하여, 이동통신망과 인터넷 데이터망을 포함한 모든 통신망에 적용 가능한 기술로서, 통신 단말에 이미지, 동영상 또는 광고정보를 디스플레이하는 기술을 제공하는 데 있다.
본 발명의 제3 목적은 상기 제1, 2 목적에 부가하여, 일반 유무선 통신망을 이용한 음성통화뿐 아니라, 데이터망을 이용하여 수행되는 모바일 단말, 태블릿 PC, 스마트 TV, 또는 데스크 탑 단말 등에서의 인터넷 전화에 적용 가능한 기술로서, 통신 단말에 이미지, 동영상 또는 광고정보를 디스플레이하는 기술을 제공하는 데 있다.
본 발명은 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸면, 발신단말 또는 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 호접속 시도를 감지하고, 프로그램 작동이 트리거(trigger) 되어서, 단말의 저장영역 또는 관리서버로부터 상대방 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 가져와서 발신단말의 화면에 디스플레이하도록 한다.
여기서, 발신단말과 착신단말 사이의 호 설정은 유선 또는 무선 통신망을 이용한 전화통화 또는 데이터망을 통한 인터넷 전화통화에 의한 호 설정 방법이 적용될 수 있다. 여기서, 서버는 본 발명에 따른 서비스를 제공하는 서버(이하, '관리서버'라 칭함), 유무선 통신망 교환국 또는 데이터망의 인터넷 전화 서버일 수 있다. 또한, 발신단말 또는 착신단말은 통신을 위한 펌웨어 또는 애플리케이션 프로그램을 구비하고 있으면 가능하며, 휴대폰, 스마트폰, 탭, 노트 패드 등 모바일 단말, 태블릿 PC, 노트북 PC, 데스크 탑 PC, 스마트 TV 중 어느 것도 적용 가능하다.
앱 스토어 또는 관리서버로부터 내려받은 펌웨어 또는 애플리케이션 프로그램(이하, '애플리케이션 프로그램'이라 총칭함)이 단말에 설치되면, 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말 사용자의 프로필 또는 이미지 정보를 등록받아 관리서버에 송출하고, 상기 관리서버가 전송하는 서비스 가입자의 이미지 정보 또는 광고이미지 정보를 수신받아 단말의 저장 영역에 저장하도록 한다.
본 발명에 따라 자신이 원하는 이미지 또는 동영상을 상대방 단말에 디스플레이하도록 함으로써, 발신자 또는 착신자는 상대방에게 소정의 홍보효과 및 이미지 관리효과를 창출할 수 있다. 또한, 착신단말은 착신 링이 울리는 동안에 발신자가 송출한 이미지 또는 광고 서버가 보낸 광고 영상을 보도록 함으로써 새로운 비지니스 모델을 창출할 수 있다.

본 발명은 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에 전화통화 상대방의 이미지("영상 콜러링") 또는 광고주의 광고 이미지("영상 광고 콘텐츠")를, 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램을 실행시켜 단말의 화면에 디스플레이하도록, 통신망에 연결된 관리서버가 제어하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 관리서버는 서비스 가입자의 단말에 상기 애플리케이션 프로그램을 제공하는 단계; (b) 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은, 단말 사용자의 프로필과 단말 사용자가 전화통화시 상대방에게 보여주고자 하는 이미지 정보("영상 콜러링')를 입력받아 관리서버에 전송하는 단계; (c) 서비스 가입자의 프로필 및 이미지 정보, 또는 광고주의 광고 이미지 정보를, 상기 관리서버는 파싱 형태의 파일로 변환한 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를, 관리서버의 저장영역에 저장하는 단계; (d) 상기 관리서버는 파싱 형태의 파일로 변환한 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 서비스 가입자의 단말에 전송하는 단계; (e) 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은, 관리서버가 전송한 서비스 가입자의 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주의 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 단말의 저장영역에 저장하는 단계; 및 (f) 발신단말로부터 착신단말로의 호 접속 시도가 검출되면, 발신단말 또는 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램의 실행이 트리거되고, 발신단말 또는 착신단말에서 작동하는 애플리케이션 프로그램은 통화상대방의 영상 콜러링과 광고주의 영상 광고 콘텐츠 중 어느 하나 또는 이들 모두를 저장영역으로부터 액세스해서 단말 화면에 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함하는 방법을 제공한다.
본 발명에 따라, 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말 사용자가 영상 광고 콘텐츠 수신을 승락한 서비스 가입자인지 여부에 대한 정보를, 단말의 저장영역에 저장하고 관리서버에 전송한다. 또한, 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램이 실행될 때마다 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 서비스 가입자의 단말에 전송하도록 할 수 있다. 또한, 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 상기 관리서버가 서비스 가입자의 단말에 주기적으로 푸쉬방식으로 전송하도록 할 수 있다.
또한, 발신단말과 착신단말 사이의 호접속은 유선 또는 무선 통신망을 이용한 전화통화, 또는 데이터망을 통한 인터넷 전화통화일 수 있으며, 발신단말 또는 착신단말은 모바일 단말, 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC, 스마트 TV, 노트 패드, 또는 컴퓨터를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램은 인터넷전화용 애플리케이션 프로그램 또는 기타 애플리케이션 프로그램에 병합될 수 있으며, 전화통화 종료 후에도 선정된 시간동안 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 단말에 디스플레이하도록 해서, 광고 다시보기 버튼을 제공하고, 광고 다시보기가 요청된 경우, 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 다시 디스플레이하거나 영상 광고 콘텐츠에 링크된 광고주의 서버에 접속할 수 있도록 할 수 있다.
또한, 단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말의 주소록 목록에 저장된 전화번호의 사용자가 상기 관리서버가 제공하는 서비스 가입자로 등록되어 있는지를 조회하고, 서비스 가입자의 영상 콜러링을 관리서버로부터 전송받아 단말의 저장영역에 저장할 수 있다.
애플리케이션 프로그램이 통화 상대방 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주 영상광고 콘텐츠를 저장영역으로부터 액세스하고, 이어서 관리서버로 조회요청을 하고, 관리서버로부터 응답 전송된 통화 상대방의 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주 영상광고 콘텐츠가 저장영역에서 액세스된 것과 상이한 경우, 관리서버로부터 전송받은 것을 디스플레이하고 전송받은 것을 저장영역에 저장한다.
이하에서는 첨부도면 도1 내지 도5를 참조해서 본 발명의 양호한 실시예를 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
본 발명은, 전화가 걸려와서 착신단말에 착신 링이 울리는 과정에, 발신자 프로필, 발신자 관련 이미지, 또는 광고 서버에 등록된 광고이미지가 착신단말에 디스플레이되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 또한, 본 발명은 발신단말에 링백톤이 울리는 과정에, 착신자 프로필, 착신자 관련 이미지, 또는 광고이미지가 발신단말에 디스플레이되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이하, 명세서에서 이미지라 함은 정지 화면의 이미지뿐 아니라, 애니메이션, 동영상 이미지를 포함하여 총칭한다. 발신단말 또는 착신단말에 디스플레이되는 상대방 이미지의 양호한 실시예로서, 단말에 내장된 카메라를 이용해서 사진을 찍거나 또는 기타 방법으로 편집 또는 제작된 이미지일 수 있다.
본 발명은 일반전화망 또는 이동통신망을 이용한 음성통화뿐 아니라, 데이터망을 포함한 인터넷 전화에도 적용 가능한 기술로서, 예를 들어, 바이퍼(VIPER) 또는 구글 보이스와 인터넷 전화 애플리케이션 프로그램은, 발신 측으로부터 전화가 걸려와서 착신단말에 링이 울리는 과정에, 발신자가 제공하는 이미지를 착신 측 화면에 디스플레이하거나, 발신 측에 링백 톤이 울리는 과정에 착신자 프로필, 착신자 관련 이미지, 또는 광고이미지가 발신 측에 디스플레이되도록 할 수 있다. 본 발명은 스마트폰, 휴대전화와 같은 모바일 단말과 태블릿 PC는 물론이고, 데스크 탑 단말 등이 제공하는 인터넷 전화에 적용 가능하다. 본 발명에 따른 프로필 또는 이미지를 전화를 걸거나 받는 과정에 단말에 디스플레이하는 것은 다양한 방법으로 구현이 가능하다.
본 발명의 제1 실시예로서, 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램을 다운받아 단말에 설치함으로써 본 발명에 따른 서비스 구현이 가능하다. 즉, 착신단말에 발신자가 제공하는 이미지를 디스플레이하기 위해서, 또는 발신단말에 착신자 관련 이미지를 디스플레이하기 위해서, 또는 광고주가 제공하는 광고이미지를 발신 측 또는 착신 측 단말에 디스플레이하기 위해서, 전화통화가 개시되면 이를 감지한 애플리케이션 프로그램이 작동되도록 하는 기술이 적용될 수 있다.
일반 사용자는, 예를 들어 애플 앱스토어 또는 안드로이드 마켓에서 애플리케이션 프로그램을 내려받을 수 있으며, http, smtp, ftp, tcp/ip, shttp 등의 프로토콜 접속으로 직접 관리서버에 접속해서 애플리케이션 프로그램을 다운로드 받을 수도 있다.
단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램을 작동시키면, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 사용자의 이름, 사진, 단말 전화번호(caller ID), 전자우편주소 등을 포함한 택스트 형식의 프로필과 사용자가 준비한 이미지 또는 동영상 등 이미지 정보를 입력받아 등록한다. 애플리케이션 프로그램은 등록된 사용자의 프로필과 이미지 정보를 관리서버에 전송해서, 관리서버가 저장 관리하도록 한다. 본 발명에 따른 관리서버는 HTML, HTML5, 또는 XML 등과 같은 파싱(parsing) 형태로 사용자 정보를 변환하여 저장하게 된다.
한편, 광고주는 광고를 위한 이미지 또는 동영상을 제작해서 본 발명에 따른 관리서버에 저장하도록 할 수 있다. 광고주는 애플리케이션 프로그램을 작동시켜 광고이미지를 업로드할 수 있으며, 또 다른 실시예로서 관리서버에 직접 접속해서 광고이미지를 업로드할 수도 있다. 물론, 광고주의 광고이미지 파일을 전달받아 관리서버의 운영자가 직접 등록할 수도 있다.
사용자가 애플리케이션 프로그램을 자신의 단말에 내려받아 설치하고 자신의 개인 프로필과 이미지 정보를 등록하는 단계에서, 관리 서버가 제공하는 광고 정보를 수신할지 여부를 묻는 항목에 응답하도록 하고, 사용자가 광고 정보 수신을 승락한 경우 광고주가 업로드한 광고 정보를 사용자 단말에 전송함으로써, 사용자의 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램이 관리하는 저장공간에 전송받은 광고정보를 저장해 두도록 할 수 있다.
본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 사용자 등록단계에서 사용자의 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은, 단말에 저장된 주소록을 참조해서 주소록에 기재된 명단 중에서 본 발명에 따른 관리서버에 등록된 서비스 가입자가 있는 경우, 주소록 가입자에 관련된 프로필과 이미지 정보를 관리서버로부터 전송받아, 사용자의 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램이 관리하는 저장공간에 가입자 정보를 저장해 두도록 할 수 있다.
발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸면, 착신단말을 페이징하는 단계에서 발신단말에는 링백톤이 울리게 되고, 착신단말에 착신 링이 울리게 된다. 이때에, 착신단말에 발신단말의 발신자 아이디(Caller ID) 등 정보가 전달된다.
발신단말과 착신단말에 착신 링이 울리기 시작하면, 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 이를 감지하고 작동을 시작한다. 애플리케이션 프로그램은 발신단말의 아이디를 확인하고, 저장공간으로부터 발신자 정보를 확인하고, 착신자가 광고 수신을 수락한 가입자로 등록되어 있는 경우, 광고정보를 가져와서 단말에 디스플레이한다. 본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 저장공간에 저장해 두었던 발신자 이미지 정보와 함께 발신자 기본 정보, 예를 들어 발신자 이름과 전화번호와 같은 기본 프로필 정보를 함께 디스플레이할 수 있다. 이때에, 착신자가 광고 정보 제공에 승락을 한 가입자로 확인된 경우, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 발신자 정보와 함께 광고 정보를 착신단말에 디스플레이 할 수 있다.
애플리케이션 프로그램은 관리서버에 발신자 프로필 및 이미지 정보를 요청할 수 있으며, 발신자가 관리서버에 등록된 서비스 가입자인 경우 가입자 프로필 및 이미지 정보를 착신단말에 전송하여 디스플레이할 수 있도록 한다. 이때에 발신자가 관리서버 등록 가입자가 아닌 경우 또는 착신단말에 발신자 정보가 없는 경우에는, 착신단말의 주소록에 저장되어 있는 기본 정보만이 디스플레이 될 수 있다.
한편, 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸어 호접속 시도하는 것을 발신단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램이 감지하게 되면, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 저장공간에 저장되어 두었던 착신자 정보 또는 광고 정보를 발신단말에 디스플레이할 수 있다. 또한, 발신단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램은 관리서버에 착신자 정보를 요청할 수 있으며, 착신자가 관리서버에 등록된 서비스 가입자인 경우 가입자 프로필 및 이미지 정보를 발신단말에 전송하여 단말에 디스플레이 할 수 있도록 한다. 이때에 착신자가 관리서버 등록 가입자가 아닌 경우 또는 발신단말에 착신자 정보가 없는 경우에는, 발신단말의 주소록에 저장되어 있는 기본 정보만이 디스플레이 될 수 있다.
본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 발신자 정보와 착신자 정보만을 상대측 단말에 디스플레이하거나, 발신자 정보와 착신자 정보를 상대측 단말에 디스플레이하는 대신에 광고정보만을 디스플레이할 수도 있으며, 발신자 정보와 착신자 정보를 상대측 단말에 광고정보와 함께 디스플레이할 수도 있다.
사용자가 전화를 걸 때마다, 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말에 설치된 가입자 정보 또는 광고정보가 업데이트된 버전인지를 확인하고, 그렇지 않은 경우상대측 정보 또는 광고정보를 관리서버로부터 업데이트 받아, 단말에 저장하고 디스플레이 할 수 있으며, 본 발명에 따른 관리서버는 가입자 단말에 업데이트된 가입자 정보 또는 광고정보를 푸쉬(push) 방식으로 전송해서, 가입자 단말의 저장영역에 저장된 정보를 업데이트할 수도 있다. 본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 관리서버는 업데이트된 가입자 정보 또는 광고정보를 푸쉬(push) 방식으로, 예를 들어 매일 정오마다 주기적으로 단말에 내려보낼 수 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 실시예로서, 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램은 인터넷 전화 애플리케이션 프로그램 또는 기타 다른 애플리케이션 프로그램에 병합될 수 있으며, 사용자가 특정 애플리케이션 프로그램을 다운받아 단말에 설치할 때, 함께 병합된 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램이 동시에 설치되도록 할 수 있다.
본 발명의 제1 실시예는, 스마트폰, 노트 패드, 태블릿 PC 등 모바일 단말 또는 컴퓨터 등에 설치된 인터넷 전화에 적용해서, 착신단말 또는 발신단말에 상대방이 제공하는 이미지 정보를 디스플레이한다거나, 또는 광고주가 제공하는 광고이미지를 발신 또는 착신단말에 디스플레이할 수 있다. 모바일 통신기기는 물론이고 컴퓨터에 설치된 음성통화 또는 화상통화용 컴퓨터프로그램 또는 애플리케이션 프로그램을 모두 포함해서 적용할 수 있다. 본 발명에 따른 통화 상대방 이미지 또는 광고이미지 제공기술은, 인터넷 통화용 애플리케이션 프로그램, 또는 기타 애플리케이션 프로그램과 분리되어 별개의 서버에서 제공될 수도 있고, 서로 병합되어 서비스를 제공할 수도 있다.
상술한 본 발명의 제1 실시예는 발신단말 또는 착신단말에 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램을 설치하고 있음을 가정하고 있으며, 통화 접속이 시도되면, 발신 측 또는 착신 측의 단말은 통화접속을 감지하고 작동을 시작해서, 데이터망을 통해 주고받는 상대 측 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 자신의 단말에 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램을 관리하는 서버(예를 들어, http://www.viewring.co.kr; '관리서버'라 칭함)에 가입자가 선택한 이미지를 등록할 수 있으며, 착신 또는 발신단말은 관리서버와의 주기적인 업데이트 과정을 통해 상대방 또는 광고주가 등록한 이미지를 다운로드 받아 저장하고 있음을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명의 제2 실시예로서, 가입자 이미지 정보 또는 광고용 이미지 정보를 통신회사가 관리하고, 발신 측과 착신 측 교환국 사이의 호 설정 과정에서 가입자 이미지 정보 또는 광고용 이미지 정보를 상대 측 교환국에 제공하면, 교환국은 상대측 이미지 정보 또는 광고용 이미지 정보를 단말에 디스플레이하도록 할 수 있다.
본 발명의 제3 실시예로서, 발신자는 자신이 원하는 이미지를 발신자 단말의 저장영역, 예를 들어 기본 앨범에 저장해 두었다가, 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸게 되면 발신자 측의 단말은 저장영역에 저장된 발신 이미지를 착신단말로 전송한다. 본 발명의 양호한 실시예에 따라, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 발신자가 저장해 둔 이미지를 데이터망을 통해 착신단말로 전송할 수 있다. 발신자 단말과 착신자 단말 사이에 호가 설정되면, 발신자 단말로부터 전송된 발신이미지는 발신자에 대한 기본정보와 함께 착신단말에 디스플레이된다.
착신 링이 울리는 단계에 착신단말에 디스플레이하는 발신자 관련 이미지는 단순한 발신자의 사진, 합성 편집된 사진, 또는 홍보용 로고, 애니메이션 만화 캐릭터, 또는 기타 광고용 이미지 또는 동영상 등을 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명에 따르면, 착신자가 착신단말에서 울려오는 링 톤을 듣고 걸려온 전화를 받으려 하는 순간, 착신단말에 디스플레이되는 발신 이미지를 시각으로 보면서 발신자가 전송한 시각적인 메시지를 전달받게 된다. 전화 통화를 마치고 나면, 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램 또는 운영체제는 발신 이미지를 착신단말의 저장영역에 저장할 수 있다.
도1은 본 발명에 따라, 착신단말 또는 발신단말에 디스플레이된 상대방 정보를 나타낸 도면이다. 도1을 참조하면, 도면부호 110은 본 발명에 따라 단말에 디스플레이되는 상대방 등록 이미지를 나타낸 것이고, 도면부호 120은 상대방의 이름, 전화번호(콜러 아이디), 또는 상대방 기본 프로필(문자정보 또는 텍스트 정보)을 표시하고 있다. 이때에, 앞서 언급한 것처럼 도면부호 110의 영역에는 정지 이미지뿐 아니라 동영상 이미지 또는 애니메이션이 제공될 수 있다.
착신단말의 경우, 도면부호 130의 영역에는 착신 링이 울리는 과정에는 "응답" 또는 "거절"을 나타내는 아이콘이 디스플레이되며, 통화 중에는 "통화종료" 아이콘이 디스플레이된다. 한편, 발신단말의 경우, 도면부호 130의 영역에는 "통화종료" 아이콘이 디스플레이된다.
도2는 본 발명에 따라 착신단말 또는 발신단말에 광고이미지 정보를 나타낸 도면이다. 도2를 참조하면, 본 발명은 또 다른 실시예로서, 착신단말에 착신 링이 울리는 과정에, 또는 발신단말에 링백톤이 울리는 과정에, 미리 준비된 광고이미지를 단말에 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
도2에 나타낸 실시예는 사용자가 본 발명에 따른 관리서버가 제공하는 광고이미지 또는 동영상을 전송받아 단말에 디스플레이하는 것을 수락한 가입자인 것을 가정으로 한다. 도2에 나타낸 본 발명의 실시예는, 착신단말 또는 발신단말에 저장하고 있던 광고이미지, 또는 서버로부터 전송받은 광고이미지를 디스플레이하도록 할 수 있다.
단말 가입자는 본 발명에 따른 서버와의 사전 승인을 통해 착신 또는 발신 단계에서 자신의 단말에 광고이미지가 디스플레이되는 것을 허락할 수 있다. 이 경우, 단말에는 관리서버가 송출하는 광고이미지가 단말의 일정 부위에 디스플레이된다. 다시 도2를 참조하면, 본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 도면부호 210은 본 발명에 따른 관리서버 또는 교환국이 전송한 광고이미지, 또는 단말에 저장된 광고이미지를 나타내고 있으며, 도면부호 220은 상대측 정보를 나타내는 이미지를 나타내고 있다. 또한, 도면부호 230은 상대방의 이름, 전화번호(콜러 아이디) 등 기본 프로필 정보를 나타내고 있다.
본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 통화종료 후에도 예를 들어, 약 3초간 광고 이미지가 보여지도록 할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예로서, 도면부호 240은 '오버레이 광고 다시보기' 버튼을 나타내고 있으며, 도면부호 240 아이콘을 선택한 경우 도면부호 210의 광고 사이트에 접속되거나 관련 광고를 다시 플레이 하도록 할 수 있다.
도2에 예시된 화면은 본 발명의 일 실시예를 나타낸 것으로서, 상대방이 본 발명에 따른 서비스 가입자가 아닌 경우 또는 상대방 정보가 없는 경우에는, 도면 220의 상대방 이미지는 디스플레이하지 아니하고 도면부호 210의 광고이미지만, 또는 도면부호 230의 상대방 기본정보만을 디스플레이할 수도 있다.
본 발명의 양호한 실시예에 따라, '오버레이 광고 다시보기' 버튼(240)을 제공할 수 있으며, 예를 들어 통화를 마친 후에 착신자가 '오버레이 광고 다시보기' 버튼(240)을 누른 경우 오버레이 애플리케이션 프로그램이 작동되어 광고내용을 다시 볼 수 있도록 하거나 또는 광고주의 홈페이지 주소로 접속할 수 있도록 할 수 있다. 본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 가입자가 '오버레이 광고 다시보기' 버튼(240)을 클릭한 경우, 해당 광고 사이트로 이동하게 되고, 상품 구매가 일어날 수 있으며, 위 버튼(240)을 클릭한 경우에는 소정의 점수를 부여해서, 광고주의 상품을 구입하는 경우 소정의 누적 점수에 일정 크레딧을 제공할 수도 있다.
발신 또는 착신 측 가입자는 본 발명에 따른 서버에 접속하여 애플리케이션 프로그램을 다운로드 받을 때에, 가입자 정보입력 화면을 통해 등록을 하고 나면, 그 정보가 본 발명에 따른 서버가 관리하는 데이터베이스에 저장되고, 광고주들은 개인정보를 데이터화하여, 어떤 시간대에 어떤 광고를 송출할지 등의 정보를 본 발명에 따른 서버에 등록할 수 있다.
도3a 및 도3b는 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따라, 발신자가 착신자에 전화를 걸 때에, 상대방이 등록한 이미지 또는 광고주가 등록한 광고이미지를 단말에 디스플레이시키는 방법을 각각 나타낸 도면이다. 전화통화의 상대방에 관한 이미지 정보를 자신의 단말에 디스플레이하는 것과, 관리서버가 제공하는 광고이미지를 디스플레이하는 것을 각각 도3a와 도3b에 분리하여 도시하였지만, 상대방 이미지 정보와 광고이미지 정보를 동시에 디스플레이 할 수 있음은 물론이다.
본 발명에 따라 착신단말 또는 발신단말에 상대방이 제공하는 이미지를 디스플레이하기 위해서, 단말에 애플리케이션 프로그램을 설치해서, 전화를 걸거나 전화가 걸려올 때마다 애플리케이션 프로그램을 트리거(trigger) 시켜 작동하는 방법이 적용될 수 있다. 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램이 트리거 되면, 등록된 상대방 이미지를 또는 광고이미지를 액세스하여 단말에 디스플레이한다. 이때에, 상대방 이미지 정보와 함께 상대방의 기본 정보, 예를 들어 상대방 이름과 전화번호와 같은 기본 프로필정보를 함께 디스플레이할 수 있다.
본 발명의 제1 실시예는, 단말에 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램 또는 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램을 병합해서 포함한 애플리케이션 프로그램을 설치하고 있음을 가정하고 있다.
일반 사용자는 애플리케이션 스토어 또는 애플리케이션 마켓으로부터 애플리케이션 프로그램을 내려받아 스마트폰, 노트 패드, 컴퓨터 등 단말에 설치할 수 있다. 여기서, 애플리케이션 스토어는 애플사의 앱스토어, 구글사의 안드로이드 마켓, 티스토어, 올레마켓 등을 포함하며, 본 발명에 따른 관리서버에 통신망을 통해 직접 접속해서 다운받아 설치할 수도 있다.
도3a를 참조하면, 사용자는 본 발명에 따른 서버가 제공하는 애플리케이션 프로그램을 자신의 단말에 실장하는 것을 기본 단계(단계 S1000)로 한다. 이어서, 애플리케이션 프로그램을 작동시켜, 애플리케이션 프로그램이 질의하는 기본 프로필 정보, 예를 들어 서비스 가입자 이름, 전화번호(콜러 아이디)를 등록할 수 있다. 또한, 등록단계에서 자신이 송출하고자 하는 이미지(동영상 포함)를 등록할 수 있다(단계 S1010). 본 발명의 또 다른 실시예로서, 애플리케이션 프로그램을 통해 등록하는 대신에, 사용자는 인터넷망을 통해 관리서버에 직접 접속해서 가입자 프로필과 이미지 정보를 등록할 수도 있다. 단말에 실장된 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램 또는 관리서버는 주기적으로 가입자들의 이미지를 업데이트 하는 과정을 진행한다(단계 S1020).
한편, 도3b를 참조하며, 광고주도 애플리케이션 프로그램을 통하거나, 또는 관리서버에 직접 접속하여 광고목적으로 배포하고자 하는 광고이미지를 등록할 수 있다(단계 S1011). 본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 상업적 목적의 광고이미지를 등록하기 위해서는 일반 사용자의 가입 등록절차와는 차별성이 있는 등록절차를 진행할 수 있다.
발신단말과 착신단말 사이에 호접속이 진행되는 과정에, 착신단말에는 착신 링이 울리게 되고, 발신단말에는 링백톤이 울리게 된다. 착신단말에 설치된 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램은 착신 링과 함께 작동이 트리거 되어, 착신단말의 저장영역을 검색해서, 발신자 전화번호(콜러 아이디)에 대응된 발신자 이미지 정보가 있는지 여부를 검색하여, 발신자 정보가 있는 경우 착신단말에 등록된 발신자 이미지를 디스플레이한다. 또한, 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션은 관리서버에 발신자 콜러 아이디를 전송해서 발신자가 서비스 가입자인지 여부, 서비스 가입자인 경우 업데이트된 발신자 이미지 정보를 응답받게 된다. 관리서버로부터 업데이트된 발신자 정보를 수신받는 경우, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 업데이트된 발신자 정보를 착신단말에 디스플레이한다. 또한, 착신단말의 가입자가 광고이미지를 수신하는 것을 수락한 경우, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 착신단말의 저장영역에 저장된 광고이미지를 함께 디스플레이한다. 또한, 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션은 업데이트된 광고이미지를 응답받아 업데이트된 광고이미지 정보를 착신단말에 디스플레이할 수 있다.
한편, 발신자의 단말에 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램이 설치되어 있는 경우, 발신단말의 호접속 요청 신호 송출과 함께 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램의 작동이 트리거 된다. 발신단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램은 착신단말의 전화번호 가입자의 이미지 정보가 저장영역에 있는지 여부를 확인하고, 저장영역에 착신자 이미지 정보가 있는 경우 착신자 이미지 정보를 디스플레이한다. 이때에, 발신자가 광고이미지 시청을 수락한 경우, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 광고이미지를 함께 디스플레이할 수 있다.
또한, 발신단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램은 본 발명에 따른 관리서버에 착신자 콜러 아이디를 전송해서 착신자가 서비스 가입자인지 여부, 서비스 가입자인 경우 업데이트된 착신자 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 응답받게 된다. 관리서버로부터 업데이트된 착신자 이미지와 광고이미지를 수신받는 경우, 애플리케이션 프로그램은 업데이트된 착신자 이미지와 광고이미지를 발신단말에 디스플레이한다.
본 발명의 양호한 실시예에 따라, 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램이 작동되면, 관리서버로 JSP 파일 호출신호를 전송하고, 관리서버가 전송한 XML 형태의 이미지 파일을 내려받아 단말의 저장 영역에 저장하게 된다.
도4는 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따라 상대방 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 상대 단말에 디스플레이하는 방법을 나타낸 도면이다. 본 발명의 제2 실시예는 전화통화시 상대방에게 보여주고 싶은 자신의 이미지 정보를 본 발명에 따른 관리서버에 사전에 등록하여 두는 것(단계 S2000)을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명의 제2 실시예는, 가입자 이미지 정보를 저장 관리하고 있는 본 발명에 따른 관리서버가, 가입자 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 착신 또는 발신 측 교환국에 제공함으로써, 착신 링 또는 링백톤이 울리는 과정에 착신 또는 발신단말에 디스플레이하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
발신단말에서 착신단말로 호를 발생시키면, 발생 단말 측 교환국(MSC)은 착신단말의 위치정보를 홈위치레지스터(HLR)에 질의하고, 홈위치레지스터는 발신단말이 서비스 가입자인 경우 이름정보서버(CNAP)에 발신단말 정보를 질의한다(단계 S2010).
이때에, 발신단말이 본 발명에 따른 이미지 제공 서비스 가입자인 것이 확인되면(단계 S2020), 발신단말 측 홈위치레지스터는 본 발명에 따른 서버에 발신자가 등록하여 둔 발신자 이미지를 질의하고 응답을 받아(단계 S2030), 착신단말 측의 교환국에 발신단말정보와 함께 발신자 이미지를 송출한다(단계 S2040).
발신 측 교환국과 착신 측 교환국 사이에 호 셋업이 완료되면, 착신단말 측 교환국은 발신단말정보와 함께 발신자 이미지를 착신단말에 송출하고, 착신단말은 발신자 이미지를 단말에 디스플레이하면서 링을 울리게 된다.
도5는 본 발명의 제3 실시예에 따라 발신자가 제공하는 이미지를 착신단말에 디스플레이하는 방법을 나타낸 도면이다. 본 발명의 제3 실시예는 발신자가 송출하고자 하는 발신자 이미지를 발신단말에 저장하여 두었다가, 착신단말에 호를 발생할 때에 함께 직접 송출하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
도5를 참조하면 본 발명의 제3 실시예에 따라, 발신단말이 착신단말에 호를 발생시키면, 발신단말은 저장영역에 저장해 두었던 발신자 이미지를 발신단말 측 교환국(MSC)에 함께 송출한다(단계 S3000). 발신 측 교환국은 착신단말을 페이징 하고 착신 측 교환국에 발신단말 기본 정보와 발신 이미지를 전송한다(단계 S3010). 이어서, 발신 측 교환국과 착신 측 교환국 사이에 호 셋업이 완료되면, 착신단말 측 교환국은 발신단말정보와 함께 발신 이미지를 착신단말에 송출하고(단계 S3020), 착신단말은 발신자 이미지를 단말에 디스플레이하면서 링을 울리게 된다(단계 S3030).
도3, 도4 및 도5에서는 발신자 이미지를 착신단말에 디스플레이하는 방법을 설명하였으나, 본 발명에 따라 광고이미지를 디스플레이하는 것도 이에 준하여 실시할 수 있다. 이때에, 발신자 이미지를 대신하는 광고이미지 또는 동영상은 광고주 또는 본 발명에 따른 서버가 제작하여 제공하게 된다. 본 발명에 따른 서버는 단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램이 송출한 이미지 파일 또는 제1 서버에 접속하여 등록한 이미지 파일을, XML, HTML5, 또는 HTML 등 파싱 형태의 파일로 변환하여 저장한다.
공중전화 또는 일반전화 등과 같이 본 발명에 따른 서비스를 제공하는 애플리케이션이 설치되지 않은 단말과, 본 발명에 따른 서비스제공이 가능한 단말이 전화통화를 하는 경우, 본 발명에 따른 서비스제공이 가능한 단말에 상대 통화자의 이미지 제공은 불가능하지만, 광고 이미지 디스플레이는 물론 가능하다.
본 발명의 양호한 실시예로서, 1588-xxxx와 같은 ARS 서버에 전화접속을 한 경우 또는 ARS 서버가 전화를 건 경우에도, 본 발명에 따른 애플리케이션 프로그램이 통화자의 단말에 설치된 경우, 1588-xxxx 번호를 관리하는 사업주의 광고이미지를 단말에 디스플레이할 수 있다.
본 발명은 일반 유무선 통신망을 이용한 음성통화뿐 아니라, 데이터망을 이용하여 수행되는 모바일 단말, 태블릿 PC, 스마트 TV, 또는 데스크 탑 단말 등에서의 인터넷 전화에 적용 가능한 기술로서, 착신단말에 발신자 이미지 정보 또는 광고정보를 디스플레이하는 기술을 제공함으로써 새로운 비지니스 모델을 창출하고 관련 산업을 증진하는 효과가 있다.

Claims (17)

  1. 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에 전화통화 상대방의 이미지("영상 콜러링") 또는 광고주의 광고 이미지("영상 광고 콘텐츠")를, 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램을 실행시켜 단말의 화면에 디스플레이하도록, 통신망에 연결된 관리서버가 제어하는 방법에 있어서,
    (a) 관리서버는 서비스 가입자의 단말에 상기 애플리케이션 프로그램을 제공하는 단계;
    (b) 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은, 단말 사용자의 프로필과 단말 사용자가 전화통화시 상대방에게 보여주고자 하는 이미지 정보("영상 콜러링')를 입력받아 관리서버에 전송하는 단계;
    (c) 서비스 가입자의 프로필 및 이미지 정보, 또는 광고주의 광고 이미지 정보를, 상기 관리서버는 파싱 형태의 파일로 변환한 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를, 관리서버의 저장영역에 저장하는 단계;
    (d) 상기 관리서버는 파싱 형태의 파일로 변환한 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 서비스 가입자의 단말에 전송하는 단계;
    (e) 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은, 관리서버가 전송한 서비스 가입자의 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주의 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 단말의 저장영역에 저장하는 단계; 및
    (f) 발신단말로부터 착신단말로의 호 접속 시도가 검출되면, 발신단말 또는 착신단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램의 실행이 트리거되고, 발신단말 또는 착신단말에서 작동하는 애플리케이션 프로그램은 통화상대방의 영상 콜러링과 광고주의 영상 광고 콘텐츠 중 어느 하나 또는 이들 모두를 저장영역으로부터 액세스해서 단말 화면에 디스플레이하는 단계
    를 포함하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말 사용자가 영상 광고 콘텐츠 수신을 승락한 서비스 가입자인지 여부에 대한 정보를, 단말의 저장영역에 저장하고 관리서버에 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (d)는 단말에 설치된 애플리케이션 프로그램이 실행될 때마다 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 서비스 가입자의 단말에 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (d)는 영상 콜러링 또는 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 상기 관리서버가 서비스 가입자의 단말에 주기적으로 푸쉬방식으로 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (f)의 발신단말과 착신단말 사이의 호접속은 유선 또는 무선 통신망을 이용한 전화통화, 또는 데이터망을 통한 인터넷 전화통화를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발신단말 또는 착신단말은 모바일 단말, 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC, 스마트 TV, 노트 패드, 또는 컴퓨터 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 애플리케이션 프로그램은 인터넷전화용 애플리케이션 프로그램 또는 기타 애플리케이션 프로그램에 병합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 애플리케이션 프로그램은 전화통화 종료 후에도 선정된 시간동안 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 단말에 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 애플리케이션 프로그램은 광고 다시보기 버튼을 제공하고, 광고 다시보기가 요청된 경우, 영상 광고 콘텐츠를 다시 디스플레이하거나 영상 광고 콘텐츠에 링크된 광고주의 서버에 접속할 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램은 단말의 주소록 목록에 저장된 전화번호의 사용자가 상기 관리서버가 제공하는 서비스 가입자로 등록되어 있는지를 조회하고, 서비스 가입자의 영상 콜러링을 관리서버로부터 전송받아 단말의 저장영역에 저장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (f) 중 단말의 애플리케이션 프로그램이 통화 상대방 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주 영상광고 콘텐츠를 저장영역으로부터 액세스하는 단계는, 관리서버로의 조회요청 단계를 더 포함하고, 관리서버로부터 응답 전송된 통화 상대방의 영상 콜러링 또는 광고주 영상광고 콘텐츠가 저장영역에서 액세스된 것과 상이한 경우, 관리서버로부터 전송받은 것을 디스플레이하고 전송받은 것을 저장영역에 저장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발신단말 또는 착신단말은 ARS 자동응답서버인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제1항 내지 제12항에 따른 제어방법을 수행하는 관리서버.
  14. 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에, 단말에 전화통화 상대방의 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 디스플레이하는 방법에 있어서,
    (a) 전화통화의 상대방 단말에 디스플레이하고자 하는 이미지 파일 또는 광고주의 광고 이미지 파일을 제1 서버가 저장하는 단계;
    (b) 착신단말로 발신단말이 호를 발생시키면 제2 서버는 발신단말 또는 착신단말의 사용자가 이미지 제공 서비스 가입자인지 여부를 확인하고, 상기 제1 서버에 발신단말과 착신단말의 가입자가 서버에 등록한 이미지 파일 또는 광고 이미지 파일을 요청하는 단계;
    (c) 발신단말은 제2 서버로부터 착신단말 가입자의 이미지 파일 또는 광고이미지 파일을 전송받아 디스플레이하는 단계;
    (d) 착신단말과 호가 설정되면, 착신단말은 제2 서버로부터 상기 발신단말의 가입자의 이미지 파일 또는 광고이미지 파일을 전송받는 단계; 및
    (e) 착신단말의 링이 울리는 동안 상기 제2 서버부터 전송받은 발신단말 가입자의 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 착신단말 화면에 디스플레이하는 단계
    를 포함하는 방법.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 제2 서버는 유무선 통신망 교환국 또는 데이터망의 인터넷 전화 서버 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  16. 발신자가 착신자에게 전화를 걸 때에, 단말에 전화통화 상대방의 이미지 또는 광고주의 이미지를 디스플레이하는 방법에 있어서,
    (a) 착신단말로 발신단말이 호를 발생시키면 발신단말은 저장영역에 저장해 둔 이미지 파일을 서버로 송출하는 단계;
    (b) 착신단말과 호가 설정되면, 착신단말과 발신단말은 서버로부터 상대방 이미지 파일 또는 광고주의 광고이미지 파일을 전송받는 단계;
    (c) 발신단말의 링백 톤이 울리는 동안, 서버로부터 전송받은 상대방 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 발신단말 화면에 디스플레이하는 단계; 및
    (d) 착신단말의 링이 울리는 동안, 서버로부터 전송받은 상대방 이미지 또는 광고이미지를 착신단말 화면에 디스플레이하는 단계
    를 포함하는 방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 서버는 유무선 통신망 교환국 또는 데이터망의 인터넷 전화 서버 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
