Description

确定挂起 MBMS业务重新恢复的方法及装置、 用户设备 技术领域
本发明涉及被挂起的多媒体广播多播业务 ( MBMS , Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service )业务的恢复确定技术, 尤其涉及一种长期演进 ( LTE , Long Term Evolution )系统中确定挂起 MBMS业务重新恢复的方法 及装置, 以及用户设备。 背景技术
随着 Internet的迅猛发展和大屏幕多功能移动终端的普及, 出现了大量 移动数据多媒体业务和各种高带宽多媒体业务, 如视频会议、 电视广播、 视频点播、 广告、 网上教育、 互动游戏等, 这一方面满足了移动用户多业 务的需求, 同时也为移动运营商带来了新的业务增长点。 这些移动数据多 媒体业务要求多个用户能够同时接收相同数据, 与一般的数据业务相比, 具有数据量大、 持续时间长、 时延敏感等特点。
为了有效地利用移动网络资源, 第三代合作伙伴计划 (3GPP , 3rd Generation Partnership Project ) 提出了多媒体广播多播业务 (MBMS , Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service ),该业务是一种从一个数据源向多个 目标移动终端传送数据的技术, 实现了网络(包括核心网和接入网) 资源 的共享, 提高了网络资源(尤其是空中接口资源)的利用率。 3GPP定义的 MBMS业务不仅能够实现纯文本低速率的消息类组播和广播, 而且还能够 实现高速多媒体业务的广播和组播, 提供多种丰富的视频、 音频和多媒体 业务, 这无疑顺应了未来移动数据发展的趋势, 为 3G的发展提供了更好的 业务前景。
目前, 在 R9版本( Release 9 ) 的 LTE系统中引入了 MBMS技术, 并 在版本 10 ( RIO, Release 10 ) 中进行了加强。 在 R9中, MBMS业务的控 制信令与用户数据分开传输, 分别称为控制面(CP, Control Plane )和用户 面 (UP, User Plane )„ 控制面通过控制业务的开始、 更新和结束, 来控制 用户面数据的发送, 实现基本的 MBMS业务的发送。 MBMS业务在固定大 小 (可以静态或半静态配置) 的 MBMS单频网 (MBSFN, MBMS Single Frequency Network ) 区域中发送。 在 Rl 0版本中, 为了提高 MBMS系统的 资源利用率, 方便运营商管理, 对 MBMS技术进行了增强。 主要有以下几 点的增强:
1、 引入了 MBMS计数( Counting )机制。 其主要原理是: 多小区 /多 播协作实体 ( MCE, Multi-cell/multicast Coordination Entity )通过 M2接口 向演进型基站(eNB, evolved Node B )发送某些 MBMS业务的 Counting 请求; eNB在多播控制信道 ( MCCH, Multicast Control Channel )上向用户 设备 ( UE, User Equipment )发送该 Counting请求; 正在接收 MBMS业务 的处于连接态的 UE向 eNB反馈自身正在接收的 MBMS业务的接收状态; eNB将反馈结果上报 MCE。 引入 Counting机制的主要目的, 是为了让运营 商统计某些 MBMS业务的接收状态, 根据接收状态挂起 ( Suspension ) /恢 复(Resumption ) (或者激活 /去激活)该业务, 提高无线资源的利用率。
2、 引入基于业务优先级的资源抢占 (Pre-emption )技术即分配和保留 优先级(ARP, Allocation and Retention Priority )技术。 其主要原理是: 在 资源紧张时, 优先级较高的 MBMS业务可以抢占优先级较低的 MBMS业 务的资源。 当资源被优先级较高的业务抢占后, 优先级较低的业务将被挂 起, 当网络中有了新的无线资源之后, 被挂起的业务可以恢复发送。
计数和资源抢占都由多小区 /多播协作实体( MCE , Multi-cell/multicast Coordination Entity )发起, 计数和资源强占的范围一般是 MBSFN区域。 上 述 MBMS业务挂起是指: MCE通知 eNB释放相应的无线资源, eNB中相 应的业务上下文(context )被保留, eNB可以退出或者不退出相应的 IP多 播组, 挂起后, UE停止周期性读取 MCCH消息, UE监听 MBMS业务对 应的 MCCH通知消息; 所述 MBMS业务恢复是指: MCE通知 eNB重新分 配无线资源, 如果 eNB已退出 IP多播组, 则 eNB重新加入 IP多播组, 继 续釆用 MBSFN方式传输 MBMS业务, UE周期性读取 MCCH消息。 资源 抢占涉及的 ARP参数来自于核心网 ( EPC, Evolved Packet Core ), 可以通 过 MBMS session start request消息从 M3接口发送到 MCE。
在对现有技术的研究和实践过程中, 发明人发现现有技术存在以下问 题: 3GPP Rel-10 MBMS釆用了 MCCH change notification (以下称为 MCCH 通知)机制, 即在物理下行控制信道(PDCCH, Physical Downlink Control Channel )上利用特定的 MBMS无线网络临时标识( M-RNTI, Radio Network Temporary Identifier )和下行控制信息 ( DCI, Downlink Control Information ) 指示 MCCH的变化, 这里的变化只针对会话开始 ( session start )或计数请 求 ( counting request )事件, 即只有在 session start或 counting request事件 发生时, 网络侧才会发送 MCCH通知消息; 如果 MCE根据计数报告或者 ARP要求,挂起某个 MBMS业务,则对于正在接收或感兴趣接收该 MBMS 业务的 UE来说, 该业务停止, UE侦听 MCCH通知消息, 等待该业务的重 新开始。 一段时间之后, 上述 MBMS业务恢复, 但是, 此时 MCCH通知 消息无法指示业务恢复, 而且 UE没有继续周期性读取 MCCH上的内容, 则 UE无法知道 MBMS业务已恢复, 从而导致 UE无法及时接收已经恢复 的 MBMS业务。 发明内容
有鉴于此, 本发明的主要目的在于提供一种确定挂起 MBMS业务重新 恢复的方法及装置, 以及用户设备, 能使 UE尽快获取被挂起 MBMS业务 恢复的指示信息, 从而使 UE尽快恢复对被挂起 MBMS业务的重新接收。 为达到上述目的, 本发明的技术方案是这样实现的:
一种确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的方法, 包括:
MBMS业务被挂起后准备恢复时,触发网络侧发送指示 MCCH消息变 更的 MCCH通知消息;
UE通过读取所述 MCCH通知消息和变更后的 MCCH消息而确定被挂 起的 MBMS业务重新恢复。
优选地,所述 MBMS业务被挂起不包含网络侧发送 MBMS session stop request消息引起的 MBMS业务中断, 或由于 UE 自身行为引起的 MBMS 业务中断。

本发明中, 当被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复时, 网络侧主动通知 UE 该被挂起的 MBMS业务已恢复,或者,由 UE在确定 MBMS业务被挂起后, 继续读取 MCCH,以在被挂起的 MBMS业务恢复时第一时间实现对恢复的 MBMS业务的接收。本发明避免了 UE无法得知被挂起的 MBMS业务何时 恢复的问题, 使 UE能够及时接收挂起后重新恢复的 MBMS业务的接收。 本发明的技术方案, 对现有的 MBMS系统中的 MBMS业务接收作了较佳 的补充, 进一步提升了 MBMS系统的服务质量, 提升了 UE用户的体验效 果。 附图说明

本发明的基本思想是, 当被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复时, 网络侧主 动通知 UE该被挂起的 MBMS业务已恢复, 或者, 由 UE在确定 MBMS业 务被挂起后, 继续读取 MCCH, 以在被挂起的 MBMS业务恢复时第一时间 实现对恢复的 MBMS业务的接收。
为使本发明的目的、 技术方案和优点更加清楚明白, 以下举实施例并 参照附图, 对本发明进一步详细说明。
图 1 为本发明确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的方法的流程示 意图, 图中斜体加粗部分为本发明技术方案的重点;如图 1所示,在 MBMS 系统中, 根据计数报告或者 ARP的要求, 网络侧挂起某个 MBMS业务, UE继续周期性地读取 MCCH消息, 或者, 网络侧准备恢复挂起的 MBMS 业务时, 触发网络侧发送 MCCH通知消息, UE根据 MCCH通知消息指示 读取 MCCH消息 , 进一步根据 MCCH消息接收 MBMS业务, 以满足 UE 及时读取重新恢复的 MBMS业务的需求。
上述计数结果是指针对 MBMS业务, MCE向 MBSFN区域内的 eNB 发送的计数请求, eNB向 MBSFN区域内的 UE发送计数请求,正在接收或 者感兴趣接收 MBMS业务的 UE向 eNB发送计数响应, eNB收集 UE计数 响应后向 MCE发送计数报告, MCE根据计数报告判断是否挂起 MBMS业 务, 如若平均每个小区中的参与计数的 UE小于 1个, 则 MCE可以挂起相 应的 MBMS业务。 当然, 具体的挂起 MBMS业务的策略由网络运营商设 置, 也可以在平均每个小区中的参与计数的 UE小于 5个时, 挂起相应的 MBMS业务。 本发明中, 所谓挂起( suspension )是指 MCE通知 eNB释放 MBMS业务相应的无线资源, eNB保留 MBMS业务的上下文(这里的上下 文是指与 MBMS业务相关的一些标识信息), eNB可以离开或不离开相应 的 IP多播组。
本发明中, ARP要求是指 MBSFN区域中的无线资源受限时, 高优先 级的 MBMS 业务可以抢占低优先级的 MBMS 业务资源, 也称为抢占 ( Pre-emption ) .对于被抢占资源的低优先级 MBMS业务, 网络侧将挂起该 低优先级 MBMS业务。
对于挂起的 MBMS 业务, MCE 通过 MBMS 调度信息 (MBMS Scheduling Information )进行指示,在空口上通过将 MCCH中相应的 MBMS session进行删除指示。 经过一段时间之后, 被挂起的 MBMS业务可以重新 恢复( resumption )。 所谓恢复是指 MCE通知 eNB重新分配无线资源, eNB 加入相应的 IP多播组(如果 eNB在挂起时离开了多播组), MBMS业务通 过 MBSFN重新传输该被挂起的 MBMS业务; MCE通过 MBMS调度信息 指示被挂起的 MBMS 业务恢复, 在空口上通过在 MCCH 中添加相应的 MBMS session指示来表明该被挂起的 MBMS业务恢复。
考虑到被挂起的 MBMS业务在 MCCH中没有指示 (已删除), UE可 能停止周期性地读取 MCCH,而是侦听 MCCH通知消息(即监听通知信道); 当被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复时, MCCH change notification消息不会指 示 MBMS业务的恢复信息 , 同时 UE没有读取 MCCH消息 , 因此 UE不知 道 MBMS业务的恢复, 从而可能无法及时接收所需的 MBMS业务。 为了 解决上述问题, 本发明提出了两种解决方案, 分别为:
方案 1 : 对于挂起的 MBMS业务, UE继续周期性读取该 MBMS业务 对应的 MCCH;
方案 2: 当挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复时 , 网络侧通过 MCCH change notification消息指示该被挂起的 MBMS业务恢复。
对于 R10的 UE而言, 上述两种方案都可以解决接收重新恢复的挂起 MBMS业务的问题, 对于 R9的 UE, 方案 1属于 UE功能的增强, 考虑到 R9中 UE功能已固化, 实现该方案有一定难度, 需要对这些 UE进行升级; 方案 2属于网络侧的解决方案, 针对于 UE没有任何能力要求, 因此 R9中 UE可以继续接收恢复的 MBMS业务,对于 R9 UE而言, 不需要特别升级。
对于正在接收或者感兴趣接收 MBMS业务的 UE, 方案 2可以很好地 将恢复的 MBMS业务及时通知给各接收或待接收的 UE; 方案 1可以解决 正在接收 MBMS业务的 UE在业务挂起后恢复时的接收问题, 但是对于感 兴趣接收 MBMS业务的 UE, 由于感兴趣接收 MBMS业务的 UE需要侦听 MCCH change notification, 因此无法实现感兴趣接收 MBMS业务的 UE在 业务挂起后重新恢复接收的问题。
本发明中, MBMS业务被挂起不包含网络侧发送 MBMS session stop request消息引起的 MBMS业务中断, 或由于 UE 自身行为引起的 MBMS 业务中断等情况。
下面通过具体的应用例来进一步阐明本发明技术方案的实质。
应用例一
本应用例的应用场景是 MCE根据计数报告, 决定挂起某个 MBMS业 务, 一段时间之后, MCE根据新的计数报告, 决定恢复上述 MBMS业务, 釆用方案 1记载的技术方案实现恢复的 MBMS业务的接收。 即, UE在接 收到网络侧的 MBMS业务被挂起的通知后,并不会停止对该被挂起 MBMS 业务对应的 MCCH的读取, 而是继续周期性地对该被挂起 MBMS业务对 应的 MCCH进行读取, 一旦确定所读取的 MCCH中包含被挂起 MBMS业 务的相关控制信息, UE将根据该被挂起 MBMS业务(此时该 MBMS业务 已恢复) 的控制信息指示, 到承载 MBMS 业务的对应数据信道上接收该 MBMS业务。读取 MCCH并接收该 MCCH指示的 MBMS业务属于现有技 术, 也不是实现本发明技术方案的重点, 这里不再赘述其实现细节。
应用例二
本应用例的应用场景是 MCE根据 ARP的要求, 决定挂起某个 MBMS 业务,一段时间之后,系统中出现可用无线资源, MCE决定恢复上述 MBMS 业务, 釆用方案 1记载的技术方案实现恢复的 MBMS业务的接收。 具体实 现方式与前述应用例 1的实现方式完全相同, 这里不再赘述。
应用例三
本应用例的应用场景是 MCE根据计数报告, 决定挂起某个 MBMS业 务, 一段时间之后, MCE根据新的计数报告, 决定恢复某个 MBMS业务, 釆用方案 2的技术方案实现恢复的 MBMS业务的通知。 即, 当网络侧挂起 MBMS业务一段时间而需要恢复该被挂起的 MBMS业务时,触发网络侧发 送指示 MCCH消息变更 MCCH通知消息, 通知给各 UE。 本发明中, 承载 被挂起的 MBMS业务恢复信道的 MCCH通知消息具体为 MCCH change notification消息。
应用例四

步骤 101 , MCE根据 MBSFN区域内的计数报告,决定挂起某个 MBMS 业务。
所述计数报告是指 MBSFN区域内 eNB根据计数请求消息向 MCE发送 的计数报告; 一般可以设定一个门限(如平均每个小区中一个计数 UE ), 如果计数报告超过门限, 则可以釆用 MBSFN传输 MBMS业务, 否则, 挂 起该 MBMS业务。
所述挂起 MBMS 业务是指: MCE 通过 MBMS 调度信息 (MBMS Schedule Information )通知 MBSFN区域内的 eNB释放 MBMS业务相应的 无线资源, eNB保留 MBMS业务的上下文, eNB离开或者留在 IP多播组 (离开与否与 eNB具体实现有关), eNB停止 MBMS业务的 MBSFN传输, eNB更新 MCCH消息,将挂起的 MBMS业务从更新的 MCCH消息中删除; 挂起的 MBMS业务数据可以緩存在 eNB中;
所述 MBMS 业务的上下文包括但不限于: MBMS 业务标识, MBMS 业务挂起时间标识(即 MBMS业务停止时刻), MBMS业务的 MBSFN区 域标识等;

所述变更后的 MCCH消息是指在 MCCH通知消息的下一个 MCCH修 改周期发生更新的 MCCH消息。
在图 7所示的确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置的基础上, 本发明确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置还包括设置于 UE侧 的读取单元(图 7中未示出), 用于在确定单元 23确定被挂起的 MBMS业 务重新恢复后, 恢复对 MCCH的读取, 并利用接收单元 22重新接收已恢 复的 MBMS业务。
本发明中, MBMS业务被挂起不包含网络侧发送 MBMS session stop request消息引起的 MBMS业务中断, 或由于 UE 自身行为引起的 MBMS 业务中断等情况。

图 8为本发明确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置的另一种 组成结构示意图, 如图 8所示, 本发明确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新 恢复的装置包括第一确定单元 30、 读取单元 31和第二确定单元 32 , 其中, 第一确定单元 30, 用于确定 MBMS业务被挂起后, 触发读取单元 31 ; 读取单元 31 , 用于继续周期性地读取 MCCH;
第二确定单元 32 , 用于确定所述 MCCH中包含被挂起的 MBMS业务 指示信息时确定所述被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复。
在图 8所示的确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置的基础上, 本发明确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置还包括:接收单元(图 8中未图示), 用于在第二确定单元 32确定所述被挂起的 MBMS业务重新 恢复后, 重新接收已恢复的 MBMS业务。

1、 一种确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的方法, 其特征在于, 所述方法包括:
多媒体广播多播业务 MBMS业务被挂起后准备恢复时, 触发网络侧发 送指示多播控制信道 MCCH消息变更的 MCCH通知消息;
用户设备 UE通过读取所述 MCCH通知消息和变更后的 MCCH消息而 确定被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 MBMS业务被挂 起不包含网络侧发送 MBMS session stop request消息引起的 MBMS业务中 断, 或由于 UE自身行为引起的 MBMS业务中断。
3、 根据权利要求 1 所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述变更后的 MCCH 消息是指下一个 MCCH修改周期发生更新的 MCCH消息。
4、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 UE通过读取所述 MCCH通知消息和变更后的 MCCH消息而确定被挂起的 MBMS业务重新 恢复后, 所述方法还包括:

5、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于, MBMS业务被挂起时, 网络侧将 MBMS业务对应的 MCCH通知消息挂起。
6、 根据权利要求 1至 5任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 MCCH 通知消息为 MCCH变更通知消息 MCCH change notification; 所述网络侧为 基站 eNB。
7、 一种确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的方法, 其特征在于, 所述方法包括:
UE确定 MBMS 业务被挂起后, 继续周期性地读取 MCCH, 当所述 MCCH中包含被挂起的 MBMS业务指示信息时确定所述被挂起的 MBMS 业务重新恢复。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 MBMS业务被挂 起不包含网络侧发送 MBMS session stop request消息引起的 MBMS业务中 断, 或由于 UE自身行为引起的 MBMS业务中断。
9、 根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其特征在于, UE确定所述被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复后, 所述方法还包括:
所述 UE重新接收已恢复的 MBMS业务。
10、 一种确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置, 其特征在于, 所述装置包括位于网络侧的恢复单元和指示单元, 以及,位于 UE侧的接收 单元和确定单元; 其中,
恢复单元, 用于恢复被挂起的 MBMS业务, 并触发发送单元; 发送单元, 用于发送指示 MCCH消息变更的 MCCH通知消息; 接收单元, 用于接收所述 MCCH通知消息和变更后的 MCCH消息; 确定单元,用于才艮据所述 MCCH通知消息和变更后的 MCCH消息确定 被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复。
11、 根据权利要求 10所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述变更后的 MCCH 消息是指下一个 MCCH修改周期发生更新的 MCCH消息。
12、 根据权利要求 10所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述装置还包括: 读取单元,用于在所述确定单元确定被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复后, 恢复对 MCCH的读取, 并利用所述接收单元重新接收已恢复的 MBMS业 务。
13、 一种确定挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置, 其特征在于, 所述装置包括第一确定单元、 读取单元和第二确定单元, 其中,
第一确定单元, 用于确定 MBMS业务被挂起后, 触发读取单元; 读取单元, 用于继续周期性地读取 MCCH; 第二确定单元, 用于确定所述 MCCH中包含被挂起的 MBMS业务指 示信息时确定所述被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复。
14、 根据权利要求 13所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述装置还包括: 接收单元, 用于在所述第二确定单元确定所述被挂起的 MBMS业务重 新恢复后, 重新接收已恢复的 MBMS业务。
15、 一种用户设备, 具备 MBMS信息接收能力, 其特征在于, 所述用 户设备包括接收单元和确定单元; 其中,
接收单元, 用于接收 MCCH通知消息和 MCCH消息;
确定单元, 用于确定被挂起的 MBMS业务重新恢复。
16、 一种用户设备, 其特征在于, 具备权利要求 13或 14所述的确定 挂起多媒体广播多播业务重新恢复的装置。
