Abstract
본 발명은 자동 초기화를 기반으로 흉곽 변형 정도의 평가 인덱스 계산을 자동화한 CT 영상 분석의 자동화 방법, 기록 매체 및 장치로서, 더욱 상세하게는 다양한 영상 처리 기법을 적용하여 영상 분할을 위한 초기화 과정을 완전 자동화하여, CT(Computed Tomography, 컴퓨터 단층 촬영) 영상으로부터 흉곽의 내부 경계 정보를 자동으로 추출하고 이로부터 오목 가슴 환자의 흉곽의 변형 정도를 평가하는 인덱스들을 자동으로 계산하는 CT 영상 분석의 자동화 방법, 기록 매체 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 CT 영상 분석의 자동화 방법은, CT 영상 분석 수단을 이용하여 흉부 CT 영상에 기초한 대상 환자의 흉곽의 변형 정도를 정량적으로 분석하기 위한 CT 영상 분석의 자동화 방법으로서, 상기 흉부 CT 영상을 수신하는 단계, 상기 흉부 CT 영상에서 폐에 대한 경계 정보에 기초하여 상기 흉부 CT 영상을 수평 정렬하는 단계, 상기 수평 정렬된 상기 흉부 CT 영상에 기초하여 상기 폐를 포함한 각 부위의 경계 정보를 저장하는 단계, 상기 흉부 CT 영상으로부터 획득된 상기 각 부위의 경계 정보에 기초하여 에지맵을 생성하는 단계, 상기 에지맵에 대응되는 GVF 필드를 생성하는 단계, 상기 각 부위의 경계 정보에 기초하여 좌측 및 우측의 폐의 경계와 흉골, 늑골 및 척추를 포함하는 뼈에 대한 경계 사이를 연결하는 윤곽선을 추출하여 상기 폐 및 뼈에 대한 경계를 연결하는 초기 윤곽선을 설정하는 단계, 상기 GVF 필드에 따라 상기 폐 및 뼈에 대한 경계를 연결하는 초기 윤곽선이 상기 에지맵에 따른 내부 흉곽 경계까지 근사적으로 찾아가도록 ACM 디포메이션을 수행하여 흉곽 내부 경계를 추출하는 단계 및 시그니처 분석 기법을 기반으로 하여 상기 흉곽 내부 경계를 분석하여 흉곽의 변형 정도에 대한 인덱스를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
