This stimuli presenting device comprises a hygienic or surgical-type flexible mask (10), and first and second generation sources (26, 28) positioned inside the mask (10) at positions corresponding to a user's mouth and nose. The first generation source (26) releases a taste stimulus component (for example, menthol) through the mask (10) material. Meanwhile, the second generation source (28) releases an olfactory stimulus component (for example, aroma of limonene) through the mask (10) material.

Description

Stimulus presentation device
The present invention relates to a stimulus presentation device that individually supplies stimulus components for stimulating a user's gustatory and olfactory organs toward the user's mouth and nostrils.
This type of stimulus presentation device is provided to users as one of the luxury items represented by cigarettes and the like. In order for the user to enjoy this type of luxury product, the taste, somatosensory stimulation and aroma presented by the luxury product are all important factors. For example, in the case of a menthol cigarette as a luxury product, if any one of the original bitterness and scent of tobacco used in the menthol cigarette and the stimulation by menthol are lacking, the user can use the menthol cigarette when smoking the menthol cigarette. I feel unsatisfactory against the cigarette.
By the way, in the case of a user, that is, a human, it is known that most of the taste organs are concentrated on the tongue and the olfactory organs are distributed in the nostrils. However, most of the conventional stimulus presentation devices as luxury items only supply stimulus components toward the user's oral cavity or nostril.
Specifically, the pipe disclosed in Patent Document 1 supplies a stimulating component into the user's mouth, and the mask disclosed in Patent Document 2 supplies the stimulating component (aroma component) into the two nostrils of the user. . On the other hand, the cigarette substitute device disclosed in Patent Document 3 simultaneously supplies a stimulating component and a painful stimulus of this stimulating component and an odor component that relieves odor toward the user's nostril. The mask disclosed in Patent Document 4 is The same stimulating component (drug component) is simultaneously supplied to the user's mouth and nostril.

The pipe of Patent Document 1 and the mask of Patent Document 2 only supply the stimulating component directly only to the user's oral cavity or nostril, but part of the supplied stimulating component passes through the upper pharynx of the user. It reaches the nostril or mouth as a secondary stimulus component, which may allow the user to feel the stimulus component in both the mouth and nostril.
However, since the secondary stimulation component is almost adsorbed by the nasopharynx in the process of passing through the nasopharynx, the amount of the secondary stimulation component that finally reaches the nostril or oral cavity is very small. For example, Bruce P Halpern, Chemo sense Vol.6 No3, 1-7 (June 2004: E-Nose Pty
In the case of the olfactory stimulating component supplied directly to the nostril and the case where it is supplied from the oral cavity to the nostril via the nasopharynx, the threshold (the minimum concentration at which a scent can be detected) is about 3 for citral. It has been reported that vanillin is about 5 times different.
On the other hand, when there are a plurality of stimulation components to be supplied to the user, the amount of the stimulation component adsorbed on the nasopharynx may vary depending on the type of stimulation component. For example, Hiroshi Sakaida et al., Journal of Japanese Society for Food Science and Technology Vol.52 No.1, pp. 19-26 (January 2005) describes the case where a mixture of multiple ingredients is supplied directly to the nostrils and from the oral cavity. The amount of each component in the mixture reaching the nostril differs from the case where it is supplied to the nostril via the nasopharynx, thus suggesting that the amount ratio of the component in the mixture reaching the nostril is different in each case. Has been.
For this reason, in the pipe of Patent Document 1 and the mask of Patent Document 2, in order to present a desired secondary stimulation component to the user, the secondary stimulation component reaching the nostril or oral cavity via the nasopharynx and the amount thereof are determined. Tuning in consideration is indispensable, but such tuning is a complicated task.
In addition, some of the stimulating components that are supplied directly to the nostrils are too stimulating for the nostrils, which limits the stimulating components that can be used in the mask of Patent Document 2.
In order to avoid such restrictions, as disclosed in Patent Document 3, it is conceivable to use a stimulating component in combination with a masking agent that relieves the stimulus of the stimulating component. However, the user may feel uncomfortable with the masking agent itself.
On the other hand, when compared with the mask of Patent Document 2, the mask of Patent Document 4 can directly supply the stimulating component to both the oral cavity and nostril of the user, but the mask of Patent Document 4 is also supplied to the oral cavity and nostril. Since the stimulus components are the same, the point that the stimulus components that can be used are limited is the same as in Patent Document 2.
The object of the present invention is to supply the stimulation components individually to the user's oral cavity and nostril, thereby avoiding the limitation of usable stimulation components. An object of the present invention is to provide a stimulus presentation device that can give a unique sensory quality.
The above-described object is achieved by a stimulus presentation device according to the present invention, which stores a taste stimulus component that stimulates the user's gustatory organ and releases the taste stimulus component, and the user's olfactory sense. A second distribution section capable of storing an olfactory stimulation component that stimulates the vessel and releasing the olfactory stimulation component, and a mask that covers the nose and mouth of the user when in use, each distribution section in a state in which the user uses the mask And it has a presentation part which presents the stimulus ingredient exclusively to the corresponding oral cavity or nostril.
The above-described stimulus presentation device can independently supply a taste stimulus component and an olfactory stimulus component to the user's oral cavity and nostril. Therefore, since it is not necessary to consider the secondary stimulus component that passes through the user's nasopharynx, the options of the taste stimulus component and the olfactory stimulus component are greatly expanded. As a result, the stimulus presentation device of the present invention can provide various sensory qualities to the user.
Specifically, the mask is a sanitary or surgical mask, in which case the first and second distribution sections can be incorporated in the mask. Preferably, the stimulus presentation device may further include a heat source for heating each distribution section in the mask and / or an adsorption source capable of adsorbing the stimulus component. The heat generation source increases the release amount of the stimulation component from the first and second generation sources, while the adsorption source adsorbs the excess stimulation component released from the first and second generation sources and does not discharge the mask. Reduce leakage of desired stimulation components.
On the other hand, the mask may be a cup-type mask, in which case the presentation parts of the first and second distribution sections are arranged in the cup-type mask. Preferably, the presentation part of the first distribution section is formed as a mouthpiece for the user.
Specifically, the stimulus presentation device further includes a dispensing container provided with a cup-shaped mask, and the first and second dispensing sections are defined in the dispensing container, and the taste stimulating component and the olfactory stimulating component are formed. Are respectively stored in the storage chambers.
Preferably, the stimulus presentation device further includes a heat source provided on the outer surface of the distributor.
Since the stimulus presentation device of the present invention can independently supply a taste stimulus component and an olfactory stimulus component to the user's mouth and nostril, it can provide a variety of sensory qualities to the user.

The stimulus presentation apparatus according to the first embodiment will be described below with reference to FIGS.
The stimulus presentation apparatus of FIG. 1 includes a sanitary or surgical type flexible mask (hereinafter simply referred to as a mask) 10. The mask 10 is formed of a material having air permeability such as a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric, and has ear hooks 12 made of an elastic material on both side edges thereof. When the mask 10 is worn on the user's face using the ear hook 12, the mask 10 is large enough to cover the user's nose and mouth.
In the mask 10, first and second distribution sections 14 and 16 for stimulation components are arranged, respectively. This first distribution section 14 stores taste stimulating components that stimulate the user's gustatory organs and releases the stored taste stimulating components. On the other hand, the second distribution section 16 stores an olfactory stimulus component that stimulates the user's olfactory organ and releases the stored olfactory stimulus component. When the mask 10 is worn on the user's face, the first and second dispensing sections 14, 16 are positioned in the vicinity of the user's mouth and nose, respectively. Therefore, as apparent from FIGS. 1 and 2, the second distribution section 16 is disposed above the first distribution section 14 when viewed in the vertical direction of the mask 10.
According to the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment described above, when the user inhales air through one of the mouth and the nose while wearing the mask 10 on the face, the taste stimulus released from the first distribution section 14 The component is supplied directly into the user's mouth, i.e. exclusively, through the mask 10 material, while the olfactory stimulating component released from the second dispensing section 16 is also directly into the user's nostril through the mask 10 material. In other words, it is supplied exclusively. In this embodiment, the mask 10 itself forms the stimulus component presentation for the first and second distribution sections 14, 16.
Therefore, when compared with the pipe of Patent Document 1 and the mask of Patent Document 2 described above, the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment is a secondary stimulus component that reaches the nostril or oral cavity via the user's upper pharynx and its There is no need to consider the amount and the amount of stimulant component released required for the first and second distribution sections 14, 16 can be small. In addition, when the first and second distribution sections 14 and 16 release a mixture containing a plurality of irritant components, the mixture is placed in the oral cavity or nostril while maintaining the mixing ratio of the irritant components, i.e., the component balance. Supplied directly. Furthermore, while stimulating ingredients that are not suitable for supply to the oral cavity can be supplied only to the nostril, while stimulating ingredients that are not suitable for supply to the nostril can be supplied only to the oral cavity, the choice of stimulating ingredients that can be used is greatly expanded. .
As a result, various combinations of the taste stimulus component and the olfactory stimulus component are possible, and the stimulus presentation device according to the first embodiment can impart various sensory qualities to the user.
Any substance can be used as the taste stimulating component. For example, sucrose, sodium chloride, citric acid, caffeine, glutamic acid and other five original taste components, coffee, tobacco and other favorite food extracts are suitable as taste stimulating substances. In the present invention, the taste stimulating component also includes components having somatic sensory stimulation such as menthol, allyl isothiocyanate, cinnamaldehyde, allicin, itilin, icilin, gingerone, gingerol, sanshool. Here, the somatosensory stimulation refers to giving the user at least one sense of warm sensation, cold sensation and pain sensation.
On the other hand, any substance can be used for the olfactory stimulus component. For example, single aroma components such as limonene, camphor and linalool, lavender, pepper, lemongrass, rosemary, sandalwood, ylang ylang, rose, jasmine, neroli, chamomile, lemon, orange, grapefruit, essential oil (eg bergamot) A mixed fragrance component, an extract of a favorite product such as coffee or tobacco, or a pseudo fragrance component for the aforementioned fragrance component or extract is suitable as the olfactory stimulus component.
The combination of gustatory and olfactory stimulating components used is also arbitrary. For example, when the taste stimulating component is a bitter component and the olfactory stimulating component is a pseudo-scented component with respect to the scent of tobacco, the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment presents the user with a pseudo-smoking sensation similar to the cigarette smoking sensation. It becomes possible.
In addition, when the taste stimulating component has a function of reducing bad breath, while the olfactory stimulating component contains a pleasant aroma, the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment reduces the user's bad breath, while the user's psychological The odor feeling caused by various factors can be reduced.
Further, the first and second distribution sections 14 and 16 described above can store taste stimulating components and olfactory stimulating components in various forms. Specifically, the first and second distribution sections 14 and 16 may include a material of the mask 10 itself as a support material, and a taste or olfactory stimulation component soaked in the material, that is, a stimulating liquid. .
The first and second dispensing sections 14, 16 can also include a number of breakable capsules and a stimulant contained within the capsules. In this case, such capsule- type distribution sections 14 and 16 can be attached to the material of the mask 10. Note that the capsule can be physically or chemically broken. The physical and chemical destruction is disclosed in, for example, JP 2002-265353 A and JP 2006-326006 A, respectively.
Further, the first and second distribution sections 14, 16 may have the configuration shown in FIGS.
In this case, the first and second distribution sections 14, 16 include a common pouch 18, which is breathable and formed from cotton or non-woven fabric. The pouch 18 has a partition 20 inside thereof, and the partition 20 divides the inside of the pouch 18 into a lower chamber 22 and an upper chamber 24. First and second generation sources 26 and 28 are disposed in the lower chamber 22 and the upper chamber 24, respectively, and these generation sources 26 and 28 include a supporting material such as paper, non-woven fabric, and filter paper, and the supporting material. And impregnated stimulation liquid.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment further includes a heat source 30. This source 30 heats the inner surface of the mask 10 in contact with the first and second distribution sections 14, 16 and the user's face. Heating of the dispensing sections 14, 16 increases the delivery of stimulus components from these dispensing sections 14, 16, and heating of the inner surface of the mask 10 provides a warm sensation to the user.
As the heat source 30, for example, an electric heater, a hot water heater, a combustion heater using charcoal, coal, benzine, or the like, a chemical composition that generates heat chemically, or the like can be used. However, from the viewpoint of portability, simplicity, and economy, the chemical heat generation type is suitable for the heat generation source 30 of the mask type stimulus presentation device.
Here, chemical exotherm means heat of hydration of metal salts such as calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium oxide or zeolite, heat of oxidation of metal powder, or neutralization of acid such as hydrochloric acid and alkali such as sodium hydroxide. This refers to heat generation using heat.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment further includes an adsorption source 36. The adsorption source 36 has a function of adsorbing excess stimulation components released from the first and second distribution sections 14 and 16 and ejection components contained in the user's exhalation. Leakage of components to the outside through the mask 10 together with exhalation is reduced. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the adsorption source 36 includes a pouch 38 similar to the above-described pouches 18 and 32, and an adsorption material accommodated in the pouch 38.
Next, in order to evaluate the function of the above-described mask-type stimulus presentation device (first embodiment), the stimulus presentation devices of Example 1, Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were manufactured, respectively.
The specifications of Example 1 are as follows.
A commercially available cotton mask was used as the mask 10. Pouches 18, 32 and 38 were all made of cotton. For the first source 26, filter paper (5 × 10 cm) is used as a support material, this filter paper is dipped in a menthol solution (unmodified ethanol saturated solution) as a taste stimulating component, dried, and then pouch 18 In the lower chamber 22.
On the other hand, filter paper (3 × 7 cm) as a supporting material is also used for the second generation source 28, and this filter paper is dipped in a limonene stock solution as an olfactory stimulating component and then dried, and the upper chamber of the pouch 18. 24.
The heat source 30 contained calcium oxide powder, which was contained in a pouch 32.
The adsorption source 36 includes a coconut shell activated carbon sheet 40 (manufactured by Nippon Filter Industrial Co., Ltd.) as the adsorbent described above, and this sheet 40 was accommodated in a pouch 38.
When compared with Example 1, the specifications of Comparative Example 1 were that the limonene stock solution was infiltrated into the filter paper of the first generation source 26, while the menthol solution (unmodified ethanol saturated solution) was in the filter paper of the second generation source 28. Is different in that it is soaked.
The specification of Comparative Example 2 is different from that of Example 1 in that the limonene stock solution is infiltrated into the filter paper of the first and second generation sources 26 and 28 together.
The stimulus presentation devices of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 are respectively attached to 10 evaluators, and these evaluators perform the following items (i) to (iv) after one minute has passed since the stimulus presentation device is attached. evaluated.
(I) Intensity of menthol stimulation felt in oral cavity (ii) Intensity of menthol stimulation felt in nostril (iii) Intensity of limonene aroma (iv) Preference level ), (iv) only.
The evaluation axis of LMS (Labeled Magnitude Scale) shown in Fig. 3 is used for the evaluation of items (i)-(iii), and this evaluation axis is "strongest as I can imagine" to "feel nothing" There are seven stages up to “No” at unequal intervals. On the other hand, the scale axis shown in FIG. 4 is used for the evaluation of the item (iv), and this scale axis has nine stages from “extremely like” to “extremely dislike” at equal intervals.
For the stimulus presentation devices of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the evaluation results of items (i) to (iii) by 10 evaluators are converted into numerical values, and the geometric average for each item is calculated. It was done. On the other hand, for the stimulus presentation devices of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the evaluation result of item (iv) by 10 evaluators was converted into numerical values, and the arithmetic averages thereof were calculated. The results of these calculations are shown in Table 1.

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000001
Note that both ends of the evaluation axis in the LMS correspond to 0 = “I do not feel anything”, 100 = “strongest as I can imagine”, and both ends of the scale axis are −4 = “extremely dislike”, + 4 = “ It corresponds to “extremely like”.
As is clear from Table 1, in the case of Example 1, both the menthol stimulation (item (i)) and the limonene fragrance (item (iii)) that the user feels in the oral cavity are stronger than those in Comparative Example 1, However, Example 1 is weaker than Comparative Example 1 in terms of menthol stimulation (item (ii)) that the user feels in the nostril. On the other hand, there is no significant difference between Example 1 and Comparative Example 2 regarding the aroma of limonene felt by the user.
Furthermore, the preference of Example 1 is higher than that of Comparative Example 1. The reason for this is thought to be that the user can feel the limonene fragrance sufficiently, while the menthol irritation felt in the nostril is slight. This is because the stimulation of menthol that the user feels in the nostril is close to pain for the user.
Also, the preference of Example 1 is higher than that of Comparative Example 2. The reason for this is that Comparative Example 2 only presents the limonene fragrance to both the user's oral cavity and nostril, whereas Example 1 individually imparts menthol stimulation and limonene fragrance to the user's oral cavity and nostril, respectively. It is thought to be presenting. This shows that the user tends to prefer the combined stimulation of menthol and limonene over the single stimulation of limonene.
The present invention is not limited to the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment described above, and various modifications can be made.
For example, FIGS. 5 and 6 show the stimulus presentation apparatus of the second embodiment.
The stimulus presentation apparatus of FIG. 5 includes a cup-shaped mask 42 in place of the flexible mask 10 described above, and the mask 42 is made of plastic and can hold its shape constant.
The mask 42 is connected to the upper part of the cylindrical distribution container 44 and is in a state of protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the distribution container 44. As shown in FIG. 6, the distribution container 44 is provided with an intermediate bottom 46 therein. The intermediate bottom 46 traverses the distribution container 44 and divides the distribution container 44 into an upper chamber 48 and a lower chamber. The lower chamber is further partitioned by a partition wall 50, and the partition wall 50 extends from the intermediate bottom 46 to the bottom wall of the distribution container 44 along the axial direction of the distribution container 44, and the lower chamber is divided into the first storage chamber 52 and the second storage chamber 52. The storage chamber 54 is partitioned.
The first reservoir chamber 52 is sealed together with the solvent (e.g., non-denatured ethanol) taste stimuli liquid L M is propellant obtained by dissolving taste stimuli ingredient in (e.g., compressed air), whereas, in the second storage chamber 54 solvent ( For example, an olfactory stimulating liquid LN in which a taste stimulating component is dissolved in non-denatured ethanol) is enclosed together with a propellant (for example, compressed air).
A supply thin tube 56 is disposed in the first storage chamber 52, and the supply thin tube 56 has a lower end positioned near the bottom of the first storage chamber 52. The supply thin tube 56 extends in the first storage chamber 52 along the axial direction of the distribution container 44, and projects from the first storage chamber 52 into the upper chamber 48. In this embodiment, the supply capillary tube 56 extends further upward in the upper chamber 48, penetrates the upper wall of the distribution container 44, and has an upper end protruding from the upper wall of the distribution container 44. The upper end of the supply thin tube 56 is formed as a closed end.
In the upper chamber 48, a first distribution pipe 58 is branched from the supply thin tube 56, and the first distribution pipe 58 extends from the upper chamber 48 through the peripheral wall of the distribution container 44 into the mask 42. The first distribution pipe 58 has an opening end (presentation part) positioned in the vicinity of the opening of the mask 42. Further, a check valve 60 is positioned at a portion of the supply thin tube 56 upstream of the branch position of the first distribution pipe 58. The check valve 60 prevents the flow of air from the first distribution pipe 58 to the first storage chamber 52 through the supply thin pipe 56, but the user can open the check valve 60.
In order to realize the opening operation of the check valve 60, in this embodiment, a switch button 62 is attached to the upper end of the supply thin tube 56 so as to be movable in the vertical direction. Specifically, a return spring (not shown) is disposed between the switch button 62 and the distribution container 44, and this return spring secures a predetermined gap between the switch button 62 and the upper surface of the distribution container 44. Therefore, the user can depress the switch button 62 toward the upper surface of the distribution container 44 against the biasing force of the return spring.
Further, a valve operating rod 64 is connected to the switch button 62. The valve operating rod 64 extends from the upper end of the supply thin tube 56 into the supply thin tube 56 and is connected to the check valve 60 described above. The aforementioned depression of the switch button 62 is transmitted to the check valve 60 via the valve operating rod 64, whereby the check valve 60 is opened against the biasing force of its valve spring (not shown).
On the other hand, on the side of the second storage chamber 54, the supply thin tube 56, the first distribution pipe 58, the check valve 60, the switch button 62 and the valve operation rod 64, which have the same functions as those described above, are provided. A pipe 68, a check valve 70, a switch button 72, and a valve operating rod 74 are arranged, and the switch button 72 is positioned adjacent to the switch button 62.
Further, as is clear from FIGS. 5 and 6, the second distribution pipe 68 is disposed above the first distribution pipe 58 in the mask 42. Specifically, when the user covers his / her mouth and nose with the mask 42, the open ends of the first and second distribution pipes 58 and 68 are positioned in the vicinity of the user's mouth and nose, respectively.
Furthermore, silicone rubber heaters 76 and 78 (for example, ASONE) are provided on the peripheral wall of the distribution container 44 surrounding the first and second storage chambers 52 and 54 and on the outer periphery of the first distribution pipe 58 excluding the opening end of the first distribution pipe 58. The silicone rubber heaters 76 and 78 are electrically connected to a temperature controller 80 (for example, a digital multi-temperature controller manufactured by ASONE). The temperature controller 80 can independently control the temperature of the silicone rubber heaters 76 and 78 within a range up to 200 ° C. Although the temperature controller 80 shown in FIG. 5 is shown in a state separated from the distribution container 44, in reality, there is a small and thin temperature controller 80 that can be attached to the outer wall of the distribution container 44. used.
According to the stimulus presentation device of the second embodiment described above, the user presses the mask 42 against the face when using the stimulus presentation device, and covers his / her mouth and nose with the mask 42. In this state, for example, when the user presses down the switch button 62 to open the check valve 60 of the supply thin tube 56, the supply thin tube 56 and the opening end (presentation unit) of the first distribution pipe 58 are opened from the first storage chamber 52. The taste stimulating component is released into the mask 42 in the form of a mist. The user can inhale the released taste stimulating component from the mouth and taste the taste stimulating component in the oral cavity.
On the other hand, when the user depresses the switch button 72 and opens the check valve 70 of the supply thin tube 66, the mask 42 is opened from the second storage chamber 54 through the open ends (presentation portions) of the supply thin tube 66 and the second distribution pipe 68. The olfactory stimulus component is released in the form of a mist inside, and the user can inhale the released olfactory stimulus component from the nostril and taste the olfactory stimulus component in the nostril.
That is, the stimulus presentation device according to the second embodiment can also supply the taste stimulus component and the olfactory stimulus component exclusively to the oral cavity or nostril of the user, similarly to the stimulus presentation device according to the first embodiment.
The stimulus presentation device of the second embodiment can ensure a good sealed space between the mask 42 and the user's face, as compared to the stimulus presentation device of the first embodiment using the mask 10. Such a sealed space can easily increase the concentration of the olfactory stimulus component in the mask 42 with a small release amount of the olfactory stimulus component into the mask 42, while preventing leakage of the olfactory stimulus component from the mask 42. , Reduce the impact on the surroundings.
In the second embodiment, when the stimulating component is released in the form of a mist, a propellant, that is, a high-pressure gas is used. Instead of such a high-pressure gas, for example, JP-A-2009-131367 It is also possible to adopt an aerosol generation method as disclosed in the above.
In addition, if the above-described sealed space is substantially secured, it is desirable that the mask 42 has at least one minute hole. Such a minute hole appropriately introduces outside air into the mask 42. To do. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 6, a vent hole 43 is formed near the opening edge of the lower portion of the mask 42, and the vent hole 43 can be opened and closed by a reed valve 45. The reed valve 45 is attached to the inner surface of the mask 42 and allows only the introduction of outside air into the mask 42. That is, when the user inhales the air in the mask 42 with the mask 42 attached, the inside of the mask 42 becomes negative pressure and the reed valve 45 is opened.
7 and 8 show the stimulus presentation device of the third embodiment, and this stimulus presentation device is the same type as that of the second embodiment. Therefore, in describing the stimulus presentation device of the third embodiment, elements and members having the same functions as the elements and members of the second embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and descriptions of these elements and members are made. Only the differences from the second embodiment will be described below.
For stimulus presentation device of the third embodiment, the first storage chamber 52 only taste stimuli liquid L M is stored, sprays are omitted. With the omission of the propellant, the check valve 60, the switch button 62, and the valve operating rod 64 described above are also omitted, and the first distribution pipe 58 is connected to the upper end of the supply thin pipe 56.
A mouthpiece (presentation unit) 82 is attached to the opening end of the first distribution pipe 58, and the mouthpiece 82 has a cigarette plain filter therein. For example, the mouthpiece 82 may be a shell of Nucleola pipe CS5 (trade name) manufactured by CS Industrial Co., Ltd. or a shell of a smoking pipe disclosed in JP-A-JP H8 (1996) -131146.
The plain filter in the mouthpiece 82 functions as a stopper when the user does not perform the suction operation, and prevents the taste stimulating component from leaking outside through the mouthpiece 82.
As described above, in the case of the third embodiment, since the user can hold the mouthpiece 82, mixing of the taste stimulating component and the olfactory stimulating component in the mask 42 can be avoided. Therefore, in the third embodiment, the projecting length of the second distribution pipe 68 into the mask 42 can be shortened as compared with the second embodiment, and as a result, the second distribution pipe 68 is discharged from the open end. It is also possible to fill the mask 42 with the olfactory stimulus component.
According to the stimulus presentation device of the third embodiment, during use, the user sucks the taste stimulus component from the mouth through the mouthpiece 82, while pressing the switch button 72 as necessary to release the olfactory stimulus released into the mask 42. The ingredients can be inhaled through the nose.
Finally, the stimulus presentation devices according to the first to third embodiments can include a taste stimulus containing a taste stimulus component instead of the first generation source 26 and the first distribution pipe 58. The taste stimulant is projected from the inner surface of the mask 10 or in the form of a protrusion disposed in the mask 42, and the user licks the protrusion with the tongue and is supplied with the taste stimulating component via saliva.
