Abstract

본 발명은 방향족 화합물의 산화반응시 반응기 배출물로부터 초산을 회수하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 방향족 화합물의 산화반응시 반응기에서 배출되는 배출물을 진공 일반증류탑, 추출탑 및 공비증류탑, 혹은 추출탑 및 진공 공비증류탑을 통과시켜 배출물로부터 초산을 회수하고 물을 제거함으로써 종래 탈수탑을 대체하는 상기 진공증류 공정에 의해 저온 스팀이 사용가능하며, 또한 종래 알려진 공비증류 공정에 비해 물과 초산을 분리하기 위해 사용되는 중압 스팀의 양이 현저히 감소하는, 방향족 화합물의 산화반응시 반응기 배출물로부터 초산을 회수하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
