Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wind power generator in which devices such as a control panel are installed inside the rotor head, and more particularly to a wind power generator that performs ventilation and cooling in the rotor head.
- a wind power generator (hereinafter also referred to as a “wind turbine”) is a device in which a rotor head provided with wind turbine blades receives wind power and rotates, and this rotation is generated by a generator driven via a power train.
- the rotor head described above is installed on a wind turbine tower (hereinafter referred to as “tower”) and attached to the end of a turnable nacelle so as to be rotatable about a substantially horizontal horizontal rotation axis. It is supported.
- a pitch cylinder, a pitch motor, and an accumulator that constitute a pitch control system of a wind turbine blade are installed, and further, as a control unit that controls the operation of this control system,
- a hub control panel including a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a communication device with the nacelle side is installed.
- PLC programmable logic controller
- the rotor head is configured to cover the outer periphery of a rotor head main body, which is generally made of cast iron, with a resin head cover. Further, the inside of the rotor head main body requires entry and exit of workers in order to perform maintenance work and the like.
- the rotor head body is provided with two or more manholes on the nacelle side and one or more manholes on the tip side.
- the inside of the rotor head specifically refers to the inside of the rotor head body.
- the pitch motor is a main heat source. Due to the heat generated by the pitch motor, the air temperature in the rotor head becomes higher than the upper limit temperature of the control panel, especially during the daytime in summer, and there is a possibility that the life of the electronic equipment constituting the control panel will be shortened.
- the upper limit temperature of the internal temperature is 50 to 60 ° C., and it is desirable to maintain the temperature inside the control panel below this upper limit temperature.
- the sliding part of the pitch cylinder is finely finished to reduce friction when the cylinder operates. For this reason, when priority is given to extending the life of the pitch cylinder, it is desirable that the rotor head body has a sealed structure.
- the air inside the rotor head is not ventilated, so the exhaust heat of the equipment inside the rotor head is accumulated and the temperature inside the rotor head becomes high. For this reason, the air temperature rises inside the rotor head main body, and the internal temperature of the hub control panel installed in the high-temperature atmosphere also rises, so that the life of the electronic equipment installed inside the hub control panel decreases.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a configuration example in which an intake port and an exhaust port are provided in one head manhole provided in the rotor head body. It is also disclosed that outside air is guided to the inside of the rotor head through a flexible pipe in order to effectively cool the internal equipment of the rotor head. That is, Patent Document 1 discloses that an intake / exhaust port is provided in a manhole of a rotor head, and the internal air is ventilated and cooled by intake of outside air.
- Patent Document 1 a method of connecting the outside air and the inside of the rotor head with a flexible pipe (see FIG. 2 of Patent Document 1), the fluid force for supplying the outside air to the inside of the rotor head is the movement of the outside air flow velocity. Since it is only pressure, it is only about 100 to 200 Pa at maximum. For this reason, there is a problem that the flow rate of outside air that can be supplied to the inside of the rotor head becomes very small and a sufficient amount of outside air cannot be secured. Even if the outside air can be supplied to the inside of the rotor head, a circulating flow is generated near the manhole at the tip of the rotor head, so that the low temperature outside air hardly reaches the back of the rotor head. Therefore, in the rotor head internal device (pitch motor, control panel) to be cooled installed on the nacelle side in the rotor head, there is a problem that it is difficult to obtain a sufficient cooling effect.
- the rotor head internal device pitch motor, control panel
- the method of connecting the outside air and the inside of the rotor head with a flexible pipe having an elbow is a concept of removing water from the outside air with the elbow, but this waterproof effect is clearly It has not been.
- the outside air in this case is structured to be sucked into the rotor head by suction of the pitch motor fan, but a filter having a fineness of 1 ⁇ m level is recommended for dust removal and salt removal, and this is a high pressure loss.
- the amount of intake air into the rotor head is limited.
- FIG. 5 of Patent Document 1 discloses a configuration example in which the internal air of the rotor head is exhausted by a fan installed in the leading hatch of the rotor head, and the outside air is exhausted to the pitch motor in the rotor head through a flexible pipe.
- this configuration example only a circulation flow is formed between the pitch motor and the fan, and therefore, the air circulation force is very small around the control panel to be cooled. The problem is that it cannot be cooled.
- outside air is sucked in by a fan added to the head hatch of the rotor head, and internal air of the rotor head is exhausted from an opening provided in an outer peripheral portion of the fan added to the head hatch.
- a configuration example is disclosed. In this configuration example, only a circulation flow is formed in the vicinity of the fan, and therefore, the air circulation force around the control panel is very small, so that the inside of the control panel cannot be sufficiently cooled.
- FIG. 7 of Patent Document 1 discloses a configuration example in which outside air is sucked into the rotor head through the NACA duct, as in FIG. 2 described above.
- This configuration example also has a problem that the flow rate of outside air that can be supplied to the inside of the rotor head is very small because the fluid force inside the rotor head is only the dynamic pressure of the outside air flow velocity.
- the present invention extends the life of electronic devices in the rotor head by ventilating and cooling the inside of the rotor head as an open system, and also makes the rotor head an open system.
- the purpose is to prevent rusting of the pitch cylinder by dust-proofing and removing salt from the air in the head, and to extend the life of the pitch cylinder.
- a wind turbine generator drives a generator installed inside a nacelle provided with an inlet through which a rotor head rotating by receiving wind power from a windmill blade takes in outside air, and the nacelle is on a foundation.
- equipment such as a control panel
- the air supplied from the intake port is provided by providing the intake port and the exhaust port arranged in the rotation axis direction in the rotor head body so that the nacelle communicates with the nacelle and allows ventilation.
- An air flow in the rotor head that flows out from the exhaust port through the periphery of the kind is formed.
- the rotor head and the nacelle communicate with each other so as to be able to ventilate
- the rotor head body is provided with the intake port and the exhaust port arranged away from the rotation axis direction, and the rotor head intake air
- the air supplied from the mouth forms an air flow in the rotor head that flows out from the exhaust port through the periphery of the devices arranged in the rotor head body, so the air supplied from the intake port into the rotor head body Flows out from the exhaust port without forming a circulating flow inside the rotor head body.
- the periphery of these devices can be actively ventilated and cooled.
- the intake port and the exhaust port are provided in a leading manhole and a nacelle side manhole provided in the rotor head main body, respectively. Accordingly, the intake port and the exhaust port can be used by effectively using the manhole that has been provided for opening and closing for conventional maintenance. That is, since the air flow in the rotor head described above is formed, it is not necessary to provide a new opening in the rotor head body.
- an intake and / or exhaust fan is installed in at least one of the intake port and the exhaust port.
- the fan used here is preferably an axial fan capable of maintaining the wind pressure up to the equipment in the rotor head.
- a fan is attached to the manhole cover, it is only necessary to replace the manhole cover, so that maintenance work and existing remodeling work can be easily performed.
- the air supplied from the intake port by the operation of the fan is the internal air of the nacelle, and thereby clean by a dust removal and salt removal filter installed at the intake port on the nacelle side. Since cooling air can be obtained, the filter of the rotor head body is not necessary.
- the main flow of the air flow in the rotor head has a velocity component in a direction along the center of the rotation axis of the rotor head.
- an air flow in the rotor head that is supplied from the intake port and flows out from the exhaust port is formed inside the rotor head body. For this reason, the air flow in the rotor head is unlikely to generate a circulating flow inside, and the devices in the rotor head main body can be efficiently cooled. As a result, the devices installed in the rotor head main body can be maintained at a temperature lower than the upper limit temperature, thereby extending the life. Further, if the air inside the nacelle is adopted as the air supplied from the intake port, clean cooling air can be obtained without providing a filter at the intake port of the rotor head body. As a result, the life of the pitch cylinder can be extended. Therefore, the electronic equipment and the pitch cylinder installed in the rotor head can be extended, and the remarkable effect of improving the reliability and durability of the entire wind power generator can be achieved. Is obtained.
