Abstract

The invention proposes a mask body (12) having at least one portion formed of an assembly of bounded layers including: at least one non- pleated layer among which one layer is a filtering layer; and a stretchable layer (72) having an elongation at break higher than the filtering layer; wherein the stretchable layer (72) pleats the at least one non- pleated layer. The invention also proposes a mask (10) comprising the above mask body and methods for manufacturing said mask body or said mask. The invention allows fitting with a large range of different morphologies of wearer (80).
