Definitions
- the present invention refers to a method of dynamic reproduction of audiovisual content in broadcasts in "push" environments.
- the present invention refers to a method of dynamic change of reproduction of advertising contents based on a user profile in non-linear emissions of the "push" type, that is, without a return channel.
- the new network content switching technologies have allowed over the last few years to give the opportunity to advertising agencies, media agencies and producers to drastically change the way to distribute, transport and deliver advertising to the home through of new technological networks with new features. Instead of viewers being exposed to a single series of ads chosen on the basis of demographic statistics, advertising content should be able to be transmitted based on the individual profile of each user. Multinational companies such as Google have convincingly stated that delivering relevant advertising content to the user increases the user's interest and gives value to the advertising agency that created the ad.
- Some custom advertising issuance systems are known in which the personalized assignment of the advertisement is carried out in the network, thanks to network intelligence systems that allow to carry out the commutation of contents according to the user profile. These systems are very common for "broadcast" broadcasts with a return channel in which the audiovisual content receiver periodically transmits information to the network of a user's profile record and subsequently the network switches the contents that match or are more related to the profile of the user. In these cases, the insertion of advertising content is carried out on the network and the broadcasting header transmits the flow of audiovisual content with personalized advertising contents for reception and direct reproduction on the television screen.
- the user's receiver comprises an agent that selects the most relevant advertising contents based on the profile of said user of a series of available advertising contents. This method requires that the receiver be able to tune dynamically at the moment when the insertion of the announcement takes place.
- Another type of known system oriented to "push" emissions without a return channel in which part of the transmission is stored for later reproduction, allows a selection of the advertising content to be carried out in the network and that the management of the Content insertion is done in the user's audiovisual content receiver.
- announcements are sent and stored in the receiver together with the information on the insertion / substitution to be carried out, to be subsequently inserted in a flow of audiovisual contents.
- the receiver reproduces what it has stored in its hard drive, the reproduction of advertisements that may have become obsolete over time or that may simply no longer be relevant to the user.
- reception and storage of at least one audiovisual content to be reproduced reception and storage of at least one audiovisual advertising content together with metadata associated with each audiovisual advertising content; determining the moment of insertion time of at least one audiovisual advertising content in said audiovisual content to be reproduced;
- the receiver stores or not at least one audiovisual advertising content based on a user profile record stored in said receiver;
- the recipient reproduces at least one audiovisual advertising content based on said user profile record.
- the procedure object of the present invention allows to store only those audiovisual audiovisual contents that are more related to a user profile. Additionally, as it may take an indeterminate amount of time from the storage of the advertising audiovisual contents and their reproduction, when carrying out the reproduction of any of the previously stored audiovisual audiovisual contents, this is carried out according to the user profile , which may have changed.
- a process is carried out to determine the moment of start and end time of each audiovisual advertising content included within said audiovisual content received.
- the broadcast header periodically sends synchronization data to the receiver.
- said synchronization data comprises information relating to the type of audiovisual content being stored.
- the advertising audiovisual contents are stored in a specific memory section of the receiver's memory unit. In this way, it is achieved that said advertising audiovisual contents have a life time greater than that of an audiovisual content.
- the receiver performs a reproduction change based on a user profile record at a given initial time point.
- the receiver performs a reproduction change based on a user profile record at a certain time point of time. In this way, it is possible to always reproduce the most appropriate audiovisual advertising content and more related to the user profile at a given time.
- said user profile record is periodically updated based on at least one type of reproduced audiovisual content.
- Said user profile record preferably, is also periodically updated according to the frequency of viewing at least one type of audiovisual content. This periodic updating of the user profile allows a better personalization of the system, since the user's tastes can vary over time and thus the user profile adapts to the passage of time.

Additionally, a flow 4 of metadata associated with each of the audiovisual contents transmitted to said receiver 5 is emitted.
- Said metadata flow -4- comprises at least one metadata packet -8-.
- Each metadata metadata packet -8- contains information about the audiovisual content that is broadcast, such as content type, content identifier, etc., and said metadata is emitted, for example. , in the form of an XML file.
- Each audiovisual content -3- broadcast comprises at least one block -6- of advertisements and each block -6- of advertisements comprises at least one advertisement -7-.

- the receiver -5- compares the information of the user profile record with the information of the block -6- of advertisements, which is to be detected, which is determined in turn by the package -8- of metadata associated with said block -6- - of announcements and determines whether or not there is some kind of agreement with respect to the user's profile.
- the receiver -5- analyzes the packages -8- of metadata associated with the blocks -9- of announcements already stored in the memory unit of the receiver -5- and determines if there is any block -9- of announcements that agree with the profile of the user. In case there is a better match of the advertisement block -9- with respect to the user profile than the original announcement block -6- with respect to said user profile, the receiver -5- carries out the detection of the block -6- of announcements to be later replaced by said block -9- of announcements. In the opposite case, the detection process of the announcement block 6 is not carried out and the receiver continues to store the flow 2 of audiovisual contents.
- Said detection is based on the calculation of the instants of time (instant of initial time “ti” and instant of final time “t f ”) that delimit a block -6- of advertisements in particular of an audiovisual content. Said detection process during the recording is necessary because the process of recording the audio-visual contents varies depending on the instant of time that the receiver carries out said recording process. Normally, the recording processes of the audio-visual contents are random and depend on the receiver -5-. It is for this reason that it is necessary for the recipient to determine at what point a block -6- of particular advertisements begins and ends.
- the receiver determines or not the information of the start times (ti) and completion times (t f ) of each block -6- - of announcements and stores or not said information in a record table in an orderly manner in time, according to the user profile record.
- the header -1- of broadcasting is synchronized with the receiver -5- periodically sending information about the current state of the content that is being stored in the internal memory of said receiver -5-, in this way, the receiver knows at each instant of recording time what type of content is being stored and thus be able to determine when a particular block -6- begins and when it ends.
- Figure 2 shows a procedure for reproducing a flow -2- of audiovisual contents in which a reproduction change is carried out so as to reproduce a block -9- of announcements instead of a block -3- of original ads based on the user profile record.

Description
recepción y almacenamiento de al menos un contenido audiovisual a reproducir;
recepción y almacenamiento de al menos un contenido audiovisual publicitario junto con unos metadatos asociados a cada contenido audiovisual publicitario; determinación del instante de tiempo de inserción de al menos un contenido audiovisual publicitario en dicho contenido audiovisual a reproducir;
inserción de al menos un contenido audiovisual publicitario en el tiempo determinado durante la reproducción de al menos un contenido audiovisual previamente almacenado;
caracterizado porque:
durante el proceso de almacenamiento de contenidos audiovisuales publicitarios, el receptor almacena o no al menos un contenido audiovisual publicitario en función de un registro de perfil de usuario almacenado en dicho receptor;
