Definitions
- the invention relates to a slide bearing assembly, in particular a crank, balance or camshaft slide bearing assembly and suitable manufacturing method thereof.
- bearings for crankshafts consist of a housing in which a bearing shell is arranged, which surrounds the shaft.
- Such Lüschalen- or sockets can be in one piece and be plugged onto the shaft to be stored, or they consist of two halves, which are inserted into the housing, consisting of bearing block and lid. Between the bearing shell and the shaft is the bearing gap, which leads the lubricant for lubrication of the shaft.

Then, at least in a region of the bearing, a circumferential coating of a sprayable plastic material is injected, which has a thermal expansion coefficient a L which is greater than a coefficient of thermal expansion a G of the light metal, from which the housing is made.
- the thickness of the coating is chosen such that the coating is suitable for providing a bearing shell.
- a further method step may optionally provide that in the injection molding of the circumferential coating, the lining of the channel, which may be provided in the bearing or crankshaft for lubricant guide, takes place.
- both the channel portion which extends axially within the shaft, as well as the radially or at least approximately radially from this axial channel to the bearing shell extending channel portion sprayed to advantageously ensure that form no points even under mechanical load during operation that can form due to the detachment of the plastic slip points for oil or grease.
- the surface is advantageously roughened at least in the region of the bearing point.
- the roughening can be done with a cutting tool that makes it possible to make macroscopic undercuts, so that there is virtually a positive connection between molded plastic and the steel material of the shaft. It is also possible, alternatively, to provide a knurling on the surface in order to provide said positive engagement with improved retention of the plastic on the shaft surface.
- the injection molding of the plastic can also take place according to a further embodiment of the method, when the steel shaft is mounted in the housing. Then it is expedient to temperature-controlled the injection of the circumferential coating around the shaft in such a way that the material is injected in a space between the steel shaft and the housing. By the temperature control, it is possible to guide the cooling of the plastic material so that after the injection molding and cooling of the plastic material from a spray temperature to room temperature, the shrinkage of the plastic material takes place on the steel shaft and connects firmly with this.
- the housing or the housing section has a corresponding channel for supplying lubricant, it is suitable to directly produce a lining of the lubricant channel in the method step of the injection of the bearing shell and to form it integrally with the bearing shell.
- the temperature control is chosen in this case so that after the injection molding, the cooling of the plastic material is controlled such that it shrinks on the housing, respectively on the housing portion, instead of on the shaft.

In this case, advantageously, the variety of parts that is necessary for the production of a camshaft, reduced and thus reduce the cost and the storage cost. Furthermore, it is advantageous that thereby also the grinding of the bearing is unnecessary.

- the bearings in the bearing shell 2 sprayed terminal sealing lips 3, which rotate the shaft 1 radially and provide a lateral storage limit, prevent oil leaking sideways.
- the bearing gap 5 is smaller by increasing the temperature of the plastic used and the oil flow rate of the bearing is reduced, so that the oil pump performance does not increase to an undesirable extent, which could otherwise result from the change in viscosity.
