Abstract

L'invention porte sur un câble en acier (20) adapté au renfort de produits élastomères, lequel câble comprend un seul filament d'âme (22) présentant un diamètre de filament d'âme D0 et 3N filaments de couche (24, 26) torsadés autour du filament d'âme dans la même direction et au même pas. N est compris entre quatre et cinq. Les 3N filaments de couche sont disposés dans une couche intermédiaire de N filaments (24) ayant un diamètre de couche intermédiaire Di et dans une couche externe de 2N filaments (26) ayant un diamètre de couche externe D2, et le câble en acier (20) possède les caractéristiques suivantes (D0, D1, D2 en mm) : D0 ≤ D1 < D2.
