Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen einer Leistungsreserve eines elektrischen Antriebs (14), insbesondere zur Verwendung in einem Antriebsstrang (12) eines Kraftfahrzeugs (10), mit den Schritten: Bestimmen einer Leistungsgrenze des elektrischen Antriebs (14), die eine Grenze der umsetzbaren Leistung des elektrischen Antriebs (14) bildet; Erfassen eines angeforderten, bereitgestellten oder beaufschlagten Drehmoments des elektrischen Antriebs (14); Bestimmen einer Leistungsreserve, die eine über das angeforderte, bereitgestellte oder beaufschlagte Drehmoment hinaus umsetzbare Leistung innerhalb der bestimmten Leistungsgrenze des elektrischen Antriebs (14) bildet; und Anzeigen der Leistungsreserve mittels Anzeigemitteln (28).
