Abstract

The process for preparing a concrete mix for manufacturing a ballast pipe comprises mixing the following components, in mass%: from 12% to 17% - sulphate-resistant Portland cement; from 4% to 10% - water; from 0.1% to 0.25% - plasticizing additive on the basis of polycarboxylate ether; remainder - barite ore. The fractions content of barite ore in mass% is: from 7% to 18% - large fraction with a particle size of from 3 mm to 25 mm; from 70% to 85% - small fraction with a particle size of from 0.16 mm to 3 mm; from 7% to 16% - very small fraction with a particle size of from 0.01 mm to 0.16 mm. The water for mixing the concrete mix is pre-treated by being passed through a gap in which a magnetic H field is maintained. The device for preliminary preparation of the mixing water for the manufacture of a ballast pipe has a mixing water treatment unit. A permanent magnet is installed inside the water treatment unit so as to form a gap with respect to the inner wall of a hollow elongate element.
