Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à déterminer de multiples entrées tactiles sur un écran tactile résistif, ledit écran comportant une première couche (2A) et une seconde couche (2B) présentant un premier axe (2C) et un second axe (2D) orthogonaux l'un à l'autre pouvant être définis sur celles-ci, ladite première couche étant conçue pour être touchée. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à toucher ladite première couche (2A) en un premier point de toucher (P1) tout en touchant également ladite première couche (2A) en un second point (P2) ; à alimenter la première couche (2A) avec une certaine valeur de tension (Vcc), pendant que ladite première couche (2A) est respectivement touchée en ledit premier point (P1) et ledit second point (P2) ; à détecter une première valeur de courant (I2, x) passant dans ladite première couche (2A) lorsque cette dernière est alimentée avec ladite valeur de tension (Vcc) ; à traiter ladite première valeur de courant (I2,x) pour calculer une première valeur (Δx) qui représente la différence de coordonnées le long d'un axe (2C) de la première couche (2A) entre les coordonnées dudit premier point de toucher (P1) et dudit second point de toucher (P2) ; à obtenir la première coordonnée (POxc) d'un point milieu (PO) par rapport aux coordonnées dudit premier point (P1) et dudit second point (P2) ; à traiter ladite première valeur (Δx) et la première coordonnée (POxc) dudit point milieu (PO) pour déterminer les coordonnées (P1x, P2x) dudit premier point de toucher (P1) et dudit second point de toucher (P2) le long dudit axe (2C) de la première couche (2A). Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'étape d'obtention de ladite première coordonnée (POxc) d'un point milieu (PO) permet la détection d'une première tension de lecture (V1) et d'une seconde tension de lecture (V2) de la seconde couche (2B) et le traitement d'une première tension de lecture (Vxc) qui est une valeur moyenne entre ladite première tension lue (V1) et ladite seconde tension lue (V2), afin d'obtenir ladite première coordonnée (POxc) d'un point milieu (PO).
