Description

A COOLING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a cooling device comprising a bottle holder that facilitates storing of bottles.
Various solutions have been developed for storing the bottles, wherein the foods and the beverages desired to be stored are placed, in the interior volume of the cooling device without occupying much space. These solutions are generally bottle holders of various configurations positioned above or under the shelves that divide the inner space of the cooling device into partitions.
In the state of the art United States Patent No. 2005939, a cage-based bottle holder produced from wire, disposed below the shelf by being attached to the wire shelf in the cooling device, having a form suitable for the structure of bottle and wherein a protrusion that seats on the mouth portion of the bottle is disposed, is explained.
In the state of the art United States Patent No. US2008315, a receptacle, wherein one or more than one bottle is placed, is explained. This receptacle is an open-top wire cage and is mounted below the shelf inside the cooling device.
In the state of the art Korean Patent No. KR20010059562, a holder, which serves both as a shelf support and as a bottle rack, is explained. The holder comprises a housing wherein the shelf is disposed and which provides the shelf to be supported, and extensions which extend from the level of the shelf upwards and downwards so as to enable the bottles to be stored above and/or below the shelf and whereon holes, in which the bottles can be placed from the neck, are situated.
In the state of the art Chinese Patent Application No. CN101614463, a cooling device, which comprises cantilever type shelf supports fixed to the rear wall of the cooling device, is explained. In this embodiment, the cooling device comprises a wave-shaped bottle holder comprising one fixed and one movable holder mounted to the two opposite shelf supports. The fixed holder is located under the shelf at the front side of the shelf support. The movable holder is mounted to almost the center of the shelf support. The movable holder can be folded under the shelf by being rotated around the point it is mounted to the shelf support.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooling device comprising a bottle holder which facilitates holding and storing of bottles without occupying much space in the body.
The cooling device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention and explicated in the claims, comprises cantilever type shelf supports mounted to the rear wall. Recess and protrusion shaped holders are formed on the support. The bottle, which is disposed between the two transverse supports inside the cooling device, is disposed into one holder from its head and in another holder from its base and thus the bottle can be stored under the shelf.
In the embodiment wherein the holders are in the form of a hole formed on the support, the thin end of the bottle at its mouth portion can pass to the other side of the support through the holder and thus it is possible to support the bottle in a balanced manner with respect to the center of gravity of it.
In another embodiment, the holder is in the form of a spring shaped plate formed on the support so as to face the opposite support. Thus, the holder surrounds the bottle placed thereon partially from below.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the opposite holders are produced in circular shape such that one of them has a smaller radius and the other has a greater radius. Thus, it becomes possible to easily store the bottles which are used for storing wine and similar beverages and which are mostly in asymmetrical form such that they are narrow in the mouth side and get wider towards the base.
In an embodiment of the present invention, more than one successive holder is provided on the supports for storing more than one bottle between the two supports. In this embodiment, storing two successive bottles such that the narrow side of one bottle and the wide side of the other bottle are arranged side by side is more efficient than storing the wide base portions of the bottles always on the same side. For this, the holders are arranged such that there is one holder with a small diameter and one holder with a greater diameter disposed successively on one support and that there is one holder with a greater diameter and one holder with a small diameter disposed on the opposite support. Thus, one greater holder is located across and next to each small holder.
By means of the present invention, the utilization of an additional bottle rack and similar elements for storing bottles under the shelf is not required and the inner volume of the cooling device is provided to be used more effectively with a low cost.
The cooling device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
Figure 1 – is the perspective view of a cooling device.
Figure 2 – is the partial perspective view of the cooling device in an embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 3 – is the sideways view of a support.
Figure 4 – is the partial perspective view of the cooling device in another embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 5 – is the sideways view of a support.
The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows:
  1. Cooling device
  2. Body
  3. 103. Side wall
  4. Rear wall
  5. Shelf
  6. 106. Support
  7. 107. Holder
The cooling device (1) comprises
  • a body (2) having two opposite side walls (3) and a rear wall (4),
  • at least one shelf (5) whereon objects are placed, and
  • at least two opposite supports (6, 106) mounted to the rear wall (4), extending parallel to the side walls (3) and whereon the shelf (5) is disposed (Figure 1).
The cooling device (1) furthermore comprises at least a pair of holders (7, 107)
  • in the form of recesses or protrusions formed on the supports (6, 106),
  • positioned oppositely on the surfaces of the supports (6, 106) that face each other,
  • one of which supports the mouth of the bottle (B) and the other of which supports the base thereof, providing the bottle (B) disposed between the two supports (6, 106) to be held.
Thus, the bottles (B) are provided to be easily stored under the shelf (5) by occupying the least amount of space.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the holders (7, 107) are in the form of holes formed on the supports (6, 106) (Figure 2 and Figure 3). Thus, the bottles (B) are provided to be held by being disposed into the holders (7, 107) in the form of holes formed on the present supports (6, 106) without requiring any additional element in the cooling device (1).
In another embodiment of the present invention, the holders (7, 107) are in the form of semi-circular protrusions extending from the support (6, 106) surface outwards so as to support the bottle (B) placed thereon from below by surrounding it at least partially (Figure 4 and Figure 5). Thus, the bottle (B) is provided to be held in a balanced manner.
In an embodiment of the present invention, while the holder (7) disposed on one support (6) has a small diameter suitable for supporting the mouth of the bottle (B), the other holder (107) disposed oppositely on the other support (106) has a greater diameter suitable for supporting the base of the bottle (B).
In an embodiment of the present invention, while the successive holders (7) on the first support (6) are arranged such that one of them has a small diameter and the other has a greater diameter, the successive holders (107) on the second support (106) are arranged, contrary to the holders (7) on the first support (6) with which they are aligned, such that one of the holders (107) has a greater diameter and the other has a small diameter. Thus, if the mouth of one of the bottles (B) disposed on the holders (7, 107) faces one side wall (3), the mouth of the other successive bottle (B) faces the other side wall (103). Consequently, by providing efficient usage of the space under the shelf (5), it becomes possible to store more bottles (B) under the same shelf (5).
By means of the present inventions, by means of the supports (6) that provide the shelves (5) to be held, the bottles (B) under the shelf (5) are also provided to be held without requiring the use of an additional element.
It is to be understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed above and a person skilled in the art can easily introduce different embodiments. These should be considered within the scope of the protection postulated by the claims of the present invention.
