Description

A COOLING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a cooling device comprising a bottle holder that facilitates storing of bottles.
Various solutions have been developed for storing the bottles, wherein the foods and the beverages desired to be stored are placed, in the interior volume of the cooling device without occupying much space. These solutions are generally bottle holders of various configurations positioned above or under the shelves that divide the inner space of the cooling device into partitions.
In the state of the art United States Patent No. US2005939, a cage-based bottle holder produced from wire, disposed below the shelf in the cooling device by being attached to the wire shelf, having a form suitable for the structure of bottle and wherein a protrusion that seats on the mouth portion of the bottle, is explained.
In the state of the art United States Patent No. US2008315, a receptacle, wherein one or more than one bottle is placed, is explained. This receptacle is an open-top cage produced from wire and is mounted below the shelf inside the cooling device.
In the state of the art German Patent No DE19821823, a structure that is independent of the shelf located in the cooling device is explained. This structure is a cage-based bottle holder produced from wire that is suitable for bottle body and mounted to the recesses and protrusions which are situated on the side surfaces of the cooling device and to which the shelves are disposed, and that is used as a bottle rack separate from the other shelves. This bottle holder is inclinedly disposed into the cooling device.
The bottle holders explained in the above patents occupy much space in the interior volume of the cooling device when not used inside the cooling device. Therefore, embodiments are developed in the technique comprising bottle holders that do not occupy much space in the interior volume of the cooling device and that can be closed when not in use.
In the state of the art Chinese Patent Application No. CN101614463, a cooling device, which comprises cantilever type shelf supports fixed to a rear wall of the cooling device, is explained. In this embodiment, the cooling device comprises a wave-shaped bottle holder comprising one fixed and one movable carrier mounted to the two opposite shelf supports. The fixed carrier is located below the shelf at the front side of the support. The movable carrier is mounted almost to the center of the shelf support. The movable carrier can be folded under the shelf by being rotated around the point it is mounted to the shelf support.
In the state of the art Chinese Utility Model No. CN2856880, a cooling device that comprises a bottle holder having more than one carrier which can move on the shelf slidingly.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooling device comprising a bottle holder which provides carrying and storing of bottles, occupying less space.
The cooling device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is explicated in the claims.
The cooling device comprises cantilever type shelf supports mounted to the rear wall. Bottles can be stored under the shelf by means of at least two carriers mounted to the supports so as to remain under the shelf. The carriers are mounted to the supports from their one end so as to extend between two opposite supports.
The cooling device of the present invention comprises at least one channel that is located on the support and inclined from the front backwards. At least one carrier is mounted from its ends to two opposite channels on two opposite supports. The said carrier can be moved forwards and backwards inside the channel. Thus, the carrier can be brought to a parking position wherein it is vertically aligned with the other carrier and rests against the rear wall by being pushed back by the user when not in use and hence, is prevented from occupying much space in the body. On the other hand, when the user desires to store an item such as a bottle inside the cooling device, he/she brings the carrier mounted to the channels to the carrying position wherein it is horizontally aligned with the other carrier by pulling the carrier forwards. The carrier that comes forward by moving forward inside the channel reaches the carrying position and the bottle is stored under the shelf by being placed on the carrier.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the carrier mounted to the channel bears against the end point of the channel at the front side while in the carrying position. The channel end points at the front side are horizontally aligned. Thus, in the carrying position, the carriers are almost horizontally aligned. The bottle is placed into the cooling device such that its base faces the rear wall. The carriers horizontally aligned and arranged along the depth of the cooling device as one in front of the other carry the bottle placed thereon by supporting it from below. When not required to be used, the carriers are pushed backwards and bear against the end point of the channel at the back side wherein they move. This point is close to the rear wall and the channel end points at the back side are vertically aligned.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the carriers have a wire-like structure and are wave-shaped so as to support more than one bottle. The ends of the carriers are bent outwards in order to be seated to the channels on both sides.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the distance between the channels are determined such that the carriers are arranged one over the other and do not hit each other in the parking position.
When the carrier is brought to the upper end of the channel, the carrier can slide to the other side due to gravity. Therefore, in an embodiment of the present invention, a stopper is disposed to the upper end of the channel that provides the carrier to remain in this position when desired.
In different embodiments of the present invention, if the channel moves upwards from the front backwards, the stopper can be in the front and if the channel moves upwards from the back forwards, the stopper can be in the back.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the rearmost carrier is hung from the ends to two opposite housings situated on the supports. Since this carrier is already in a position close to the rear wall, it does not occupy much space in the body. The other carriers are brought below or above this carrier by sliding inside the channels and hence, take the parking position.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooling device comprises three carriers. In this embodiment, two channels being one over the other, to which the middle and front carriers are mounted, are disposed on the support, and a housing, to which the rear carrier is mounted, at a point close to the carrier side mounted to the rear wall is present. In the carrying position, the carriers support the bottle placed thereon from the front, middle and rear portions.
By means of the present invention, a cooling device is realized that occupies less space when not in use, that can be brought to the carrying position easily and comprises carriers which efficiently support the bottle placed thereon in the carrying position.
The cooling device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:

The cooling device (1) comprises
  • a body (2) having two opposite side walls (3) and a rear wall (4),
  • at least one shelf (5) whereon items are placed,
  • at least two opposite supports (6) mounted to the rear wall (4) and extending parallel to the side walls (3) and whereon the shelf (5) is disposed, and
  • at least two carriers (7) mounted to the supports (6) so as to extend between two opposite supports (6) and whereon bottle (B) is placed
(Figure 1 and Figure 2).
The cooling device (1), furthermore, comprises at least one inclined channel (8) located on each support (6) and at least one carrier (7)
  • which is mounted to two opposite channels (8) on two opposite supports (6) so as to move forwards and backwards,
  • which has a carrying position wherein it supports the bottle (B) disposed thereon from below by being almost horizontally aligned with the other carrier (7) and a parking position to which it is brought by being slid inside the channels (8) and wherein it almost rests against the rear wall (4) by being almost vertically aligned with the other carrier (7)
(Figure 3 to Figure 5). Thus, the carriers (7) are prevented from occupying much space inside the body (2) by being brought to the parking position when not carrying bottles (B) and an effective usage is provided.
When a bottle (B) is desired to be placed into the cooling device (1), the user pulls the carrier (7) forwards and the carrier (7) is brought to the carrying position, wherein it is almost aligned horizontally with the other carriers (7), by moving forward inside the channel (8). In this position, the carrier (7) portions inside the channel (8) rest against the front end of the channel (8). The carriers (7) that are horizontally aligned become available for placing bottles (B) thereon (Figure 5 and Figure 8). When the user does not desire to use the carriers (7), he/she pushes back the carriers (7). By means of the inclined structure of the channels (8), the carriers (7), moving forward in the direction of the channel (8) each one is mounted to, are aligned vertically as one over the other. Therefore, the carriers (7) reach a position almost parallel to the rear wall (4) and does not occupy much space in the body (2) (Figure 6 and Figure 7).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the carriers (7) are in wire form and undulated. The ends of the carriers (7) to be seated into the channel (8) are bent so as to be in the horizontal direction (Figure 5 and Figure 6).
In an embodiment of the present invention, a distance as much as to prevent the carriers (7) to overlap with each other when arranged as one over the other in the parking position is present between the channels (8) (Figure 7 and Figure 9). Thus, the carriers (7) are provided to occupy less space in the body (2) when brought to the parking position and are prevented from blocking other items desired to be loaded into the body (2).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooling device (1) comprises a stopper (9) which is located at the upper end of the channel (8) because of the inclined structure thereof. Thus, when brought to the upper end of the channel (8), the carrier (7) is provided to remain in this position by means of the stopper (9). In an embodiment of the present invention, the stopper (9) is in form of a recess wherein the carrier (7) cross-section inside the channel (8) is seated (Figure 3 and Figure 4).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the carrier (7) comprises an extension which is located at the carrier (7) ends seating in the channels (8) and which prevents the carrier (7) from making a rotational motion inside the channel (8) in the carrying position. Thus, in the carrying position, the carrier (7) is prevented from rotating inside the channel (8) and the bottle (B) is provided to be supported in a balanced manner.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the channel (8) is vertically inclined from the front backwards in the downward direction. In this case, the carriers (7) arranged one after the other in the carrying position are arranged as one under the other such that each carrier (7) is located under the carrier (107, 207) behind itself in the storage position (Figure 5, Figure 6 and Figure 9). In this embodiment, the stopper (9) is located at the front end of the channel (8) whereto the carrier (7) is brought when in the carrying position. Thus, the carrier (7) seats into the stopper (9) upon reaching the front end of the channel (8) by being pulled forwards to be brought to the carrying position. Hence, the carrier (7) with two ends seating into the stopper (9) in the carrying position is provided to stay in a balanced manner.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the channel (8) is vertically inclined from the front backwards in the upward direction. In this case, the carriers (7) arranged one after the other in the carrying position are arranged as one on top of the other such that each carrier (7) is located on top of the carrier (7) behind itself in the storage position (Figure 10). In this embodiment, the stopper (9) is located at the rear end of the channel (8) whereto the carrier (7) is brought when in the parking position. Thus, the carrier (7) seats into the stopper (9) upon reaching the rear end of the channel (8) by being pushed backwards to be brought to the parking position. Hence, the carrier (7) is provided to remain in the parking position. When the carrier (7) is brought to the carrying position and reaches the lower end of the channel (8, 108), the carrier (7) can stay immobile in this position by the effect of gravity.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooling device (1) comprises two channels (8, 108) and three carriers (7, 107, 207) located on each support (6). In the carrying position, the first carrier (7) is situated in the frontmost position, the second carrier (107) in the middle position and the third carrier (207) in the rearmost position. In this embodiment, the third carrier (207) is immovable and the cooling device (1), furthermore, comprises a housing (10) which is located on the support (6) and in a position close to the rear wall (4) and to which the third carrier (207) is mounted from the ends. The rear ends of both channels (8, 108) are aligned vertically and their front ends horizontally with the housing (10). The rear end of the first channel (8) to which the first carrier (7) is mounted is in a position lower than the rear end of the second channel (108) to which the second carrier (107) is mounted. Similarly, the front end of the first channel (8) to which the first carrier (7) is mounted is at the front compared to the front end of the second channel (108) to which the second carrier (107) is mounted. That is, the first channel (8) is longer than the second channel (108). Thus, when the carriers (7, 107, 207) are brought to the parking position, the third carrier (207) remains in the uppermost position. The second carrier (107) is arranged just under the third carrier (207) and the first carrier (7) under the second carrier (107). That is, the first carrier (7) which stays in the foremost position in the carrying position is in the lowermost position in the parking position.
By means of the present invention, a cooling device (1) comprising the carriers (7) which occupy minimal space in the body (2) by resting against the rear wall (4) as one over the other in the parking position and which allow bottles (B) to be supported in a balanced manner by being positioned at intervals along the depth of the body (2) in the carrying position is realized.
