Abstract

무선랜 시스템에서 전송자에 의해 수행되는 데이터 프레임을 전송 방법이 제공된다. 상기 방법은 적어도 하나 이상의 수신자에게 적어도 하나 이상의 공간 스트림을 통해 각각 전송되는 적어도 하나 이상의 데이터 유닛을 포함하는 데이터 블록을 생성하고, 제1 제어 정보를 상기 적어도 하나 이상의 수신자에게 전송하되, 상기 데이터 유닛에 적용된 인코딩 기법을 지시하는 FEC(forward error correction) 코딩 필드 및 상기 데이터 유닛에 적용된 MCS(modulation and coding scheme)를 지시하는 MCS 필드를 포함하는 제2 제어 정보를 각 수신자에게 전송하고, 및, 상기 데이터 블록을 상기 적어도 하나 이상의 수신자에게 전송하는 것을 포함한다. 상기 제1 제어 정보는 상기 데이터 블록에 대한 길이 지시자, MIMO(multiple input Multiple Output) 지시자 및 공간 스트림 지시 필드를 포함하고, 상기 MIMO 지시자는 상기 데이터 블록이 SU(single user)-MIMO 또는 MU(multi user)-MIMO를 위한 것인지 여부를 지시하고, 상기 공간 스트림 지시 필드는 상기 공간 스트림의 개수에 대한 정보를 포함한다.
