Abstract

Le cordon en acier semi-calmé faisant l'objet de la présente invention possède une structure n×1 et présente un allongement à la rupture élevé qui est supérieur ou égal à 4 % ainsi qu'un pas supérieur à 10 mm. Les filaments en acier dans le cordon en acier semi-calmé sont préformés de manière hélicoïdale, et le rapport entre la taille de préformage du filament en acier et le diamètre dudit filament en acier est supérieur ou égal à 5,0. Le cordon en acier semi-calmé présente un allongement à la rupture élevé, un allongement important sous une faible charge, ainsi qu'une excellente pénétration du caoutchouc. Ledit cordon en acier semi-calmé s'utilise comme élément de renforcement dans un produit en caoutchouc.
