Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système de traitement de données basé sur un réseau d'accès radio (RAN), lequel système est configuré pour une mise en cache de contenu à l'aide de services de facturation à distance. Le système peut comprendre une station de base qui comprend une antenne, un récepteur, un émetteur, un processeur, un cache local et une interface réseau vers un réseau de communication de données. Le système peut également comprendre un contrôleur de réseau radio (RNC) couplé à la station de base sur le réseau de communication de données. Le système peut comprendre en outre un service de facturation exécutant, dans la mémoire d'un ordinateur hôte, un enregistrement de coûts pour des services de données fournis dans le RAN. Enfin, le système peut comprendre une mise en cache à l'aide d'un module de facturation à distance exécuté par le processeur de la station de base. Le module peut comprendre un code de programme activé pour recevoir une demande de données d'un dispositif utilisateur final, router la demande vers un serveur de contenu dans un réseau de communication informatique par l'intermédiaire d'un CN couplé, recevoir une réponse à la demande, mettre en cache la réponse dans le cache local, transférer la réponse au dispositif utilisateur final, et transmettre une caractéristique de données de la réponse au service de facturation externe.
