  • Polyurethane material with the density of 63 kg/m was obtained at realization of the given example.
  • Efficiency of used polyurethane systems for manufacturing products with improved sanitary and hygienic properties was estimated basing on the presence of antiseptic properties in the products.
  • Estimation of antiseptic properties was carried out by cultivation of colonies of microorganisms (S. aureus) in Petri dishes. Then samples of polyurethane products manufactured according to Examples 3, 4 and 5 were placed in dishes with retention intervals within 5-7 days, at room temperature. Measurement of growth inhibition of test- organisms was carried out after expiration of retention interval. Correlation was carried out according to 4-5 tests.
  • the result of the researches confirms in the whole that the use of a polyurethane system according to the present invention, for manufacturing elastic products, considerably improves their sanitary and hygienic properties, both regarding suppression of growth of microorganisms and decrease in gas evolution of volatile toxic organic compounds, at operation of the products.

Abstract

Cette invention concerne de nouvelles compositions à base de polyuréthanes, en particulier des systèmes de polyuréthanes destinés à la fabrication d'articles élastiques, de préférence à vocation médicale, tels que matelas orthopédiques anti-escarres, coussins de siège, oreillers anatomiques, supports de semelles intérieures, corsets orthopédiques, protège-genou, bandages, chaussures pour divers défauts du pied et analogues. Ces nouveaux polyuréthanes modifiés possèdent des propriétés sanitaires et hygiéniques accrues qui les destinent spécifiquement aux applications susmentionnées. Le système de polyuréthanes de l'invention aux propriétés précitées contient un composé polyol (composant A), un composé isocyanate (composant B) et un agent minéral (C) dispersé dans le composé polyol (composé A). L'agent minéral est constitué d'un mélange de poudres nano-structurées de bentonite dans lequel sont intercalés de ions d'argent (Ag+) et des ions de cérium (Ce3+) selon un rapport de 1 :(5-10) en masse. Les articles produits à partir du nouveau système de polyuréthanes possèdent clairement des caractéristiques améliorées en ce qui concerne la suppression de croissances de microorganismes et la prévention de l'évolution de composés toxiques organiques volatiles.
