- multifunctional bait station with a system of removable and mutually replaceable concentrators, drinking bowls and internal partitions, with the help of which it is possible to functionally change the internal structure of the container in accordance with the tasks and 5 conditions of use of the equipment, as well as the physiological characteristics of the pests, for the destruction or monitoring of which the proposed design.
- the device has a simplified assembly, assembly, transportation and storage of separate parts of the structure due to the simplicity of the elements of their connection: the locking system of the “bottom-cover”, the hinged-collapsible system of the bottom-cover, the taper of the bottom of the structure.
- the device allows you to protect the bait and equipment from damage by rain or detergent during cleaning, protect the contents
- the device is intended for the organization of a monitoring and rodent control system in rooms and open stations and serves as a container for placing baits, fishing tools and monitoring devices that can detect traces of the presence of rodents in the room or on the subject
- a rodent bait container which is a box 1 on supporting legs 2 with a rectangular bottom for accommodating baits and with flat side walls and with a lid 3 pivotally (hinged loops 4) with one side wall of the box and having a lock 5 for connecting the lid to the other side wall of the box, while in the opposite the walls located opposite each other have openings 6 for entry and exit of rodents, the side walls are inclined, the cover is made with inclined visors 7 on the side of the side walls of the box with holes for entry and exit of rodents, the bottom of the box 5 is made with holes 8, and at least viewing slots 9 are made in one side wall of the box.
- the device consists of a bottom part in the form of a box with inclined flat flat side walls (to ensure that one box is inserted into another, when the lid is removed, for storage and transportation) and a removable lid having a hinge connection to the box (hinge hinges) for folding the lid or removal and a lock restricting access to the internal contents of the container to 15 unauthorized persons and pets.
- the bottom of the container is located on the legs that raise the container above the surface, perforations are made in the bottom, which have the function of water flow falling into the tank during wet cleaning of the premises or rain when the equipment is placed in an open station, and also allowing it to be rigidly (using self-tapping screws) or movably (using a cable) attach the container to the wall or floor.
- Perforations have standard sizes and, 25 in addition to the above, functionally serve to place partitions that create a shelter and a labyrinth system that is attractive to rodents and protects the bait from being eaten by inappropriate animals (primarily birds when placing the container in an open station), as well as for the placement of drinking bowls and containers for baits of various kinds (tablets, briquettes, etc.) and rods for stringing the bait, using the thrust bearing - fixing pin system.
- Drinking bowls are cylindrical containers that are fixed in the bottom of the container. Drinking bowls can / can be used to place grain or granular bait when working with small rodents.
- the partition is located either in the center of the container, leaving 2 free passages to the feeders, or can be shifted to one of the walls.
- a mechanical trap, a control-track or glue platform can be located, depending on the purpose of the container.
- the container is fixed rigidly to the floor, for which perforations can be used or to the wall with a cable.
- the container with the bottom with the walls can be made as a whole by the method of stamping from impact-resistant plastics or composite of individual parts. Any materials may be used.
- the holes for animals to enter the container have a round shape or other shape, which is a mechanical attractant for rodents.
- Rectangular slots are made in the side walls for visual inspection of the internal volume of the container (slots are made on one side wall, can be on two walls, one slot is made at the bottom of the container, the other at the middle of the wall height)
- a feeder ramp can be placed inside the container (Fig. 2 and 3).
- a cutout 10 is made in the upper part of the wall, which is a seat for bending 1 1 of the ramp (provides fixation of the ramp).
- the ramp-feeder is a tray with a horizontal part 12 and part 13, inclined and bearing a limb for fixing the ramp on the wall of the container.
- transverse partitions 14 In the cavity of the tray (on a horizontally located section) there are transverse partitions 14 dividing the tray into zones of the feeder. Partitions themselves have holes for accommodating removable sheet walls 15 as partitions by fixing their legs in the holes of the partitions of the tray. Thus, it is possible to form a maze for animals to pass through the feeders.
- the device operates as follows. Depending on the circumstances, bait and bait, poisoned baits of different types, solid bait and liquid bait are laid out in each part of the space for placing the bait (the options are different and depend on the number of partitions and parts of the bait space, respectively).
- the container is placed in the most likely occurrence or distribution of rodents. Animals, attracted by the smell of food, pass into the opening of the container closest to them and, without observing the danger from the enclosed space, since the second hole is in the zone of the animal's visibility (the holes are made opposite each other), eats an accessible bait. In this case, the animal freely leaves the container, without giving a signal to the population about the danger. Since the animal dies away from the container, the device does not cause anxiety in rodents for a long time, moreover, in certain cases, the container is used by rodents as a shelter.
- the container for laying out poisoned baits against rodents when used gives the following effect: it is suitable for laying out liquid, loose poisoned baits, for arranging poisoned drinking bowls, for simultaneously laying out several types of baits.
- the bait is not accessible to pets and people are protected from climatic influences.
- the containers are aesthetic, do not violate the interior of the premises, facilitate work at the processing facility, as can be pre-filled with bait.
- the container is stable (immobile when the rodent enters). In addition, such a container does not take up much space when storing one you and the other.
