Abstract

La présente invention concerne des constructions d'acide nucléique qui comprennent un polynucléotide codant pour le phosphate d'adénosine-isopentényle transférase (IPT) lié fonctionnellement à un promoteur lié au stress. L'invention porte en outre sur des cellules hôtes transformées avec lesdites constructions d'acide nucléique, et sur des plantes transgéniques exprimant la séquence codante de l'IPT en cours de régulation transcriptionnelle d'un promoteur lié au stress. L'invention a également trait à leurs procédés d'utilisation, en vue d'accroître la tolérance au stress abiotique d'un végétal et la biomasse de végétaux dans des conditions normales ou de stress.
