This application claims the priority of Japanese Patent Application No. 2010-152727 filed on July 5, 2010, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
The present invention relates to a die holder device that supports a die with respect to a die support base such as a turret.
For example, in a turret punch press, a die holder device is installed in a lower turret as a die support base, and a die that is a lower mold is supported on the die holder device. Each die holder device of the turret punch press can be attached with various dies such as hole diameter, shape, punch clearance, etc., but the number of dies that can be installed in the lower turret is limited, so the product to be processed In some cases, it may be necessary to replace an already installed die with a different type of die.
Above the lower turret is an upper turret fitted with a punch as an upper die, and a space between the upper and lower turrets is a narrow space between the upper and lower turrets. Therefore, it was necessary to get used to changing the die by inserting a hand between the upper and lower turrets. As a contrivance, conventionally, it is necessary to remove a part of the die holder device and secure a space for exchanging the die, or take out a part or the whole of the die holder device from the lower turret and exchange the die outside the machine. Was done. Patent document 1 is an example which took out the whole die-holder apparatus from a lower turret.
In addition, there is an example in which a device for pushing up the die from below is installed after making the outer diameter of the lower turret larger than the outer diameter of the upper turret to secure a space for replacement above the die. There is also a case where a space for exchanging dies is secured by providing a notch in a part of the upper turret.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-290970
Both the method for removing a part of the die holder device and the method for exchanging the die outside the machine require a tool to remove a part or the whole of the die holder device from the lower turret, and the removal work is troublesome. In addition, it is necessary to secure a space for placing a part or the whole of the tool or the removed die holder device near the position where the die replacement work is performed. In particular, when exchanging dies outside the machine, a large space must be secured.
An object of the present invention is to provide a die holder device capable of smoothly removing a die by a simple operation without using a tool when the die is exchanged.
A die holder device according to the present invention is for supporting a die with respect to a die support base, and a seating surface on which a lower surface of the die is seated and a pressing surface which is a part of an outer peripheral surface of the die are pressed. A die holder having a pressed surface to be pressed, and a circumferential portion facing the pressed surface is a stepped portion having a lower upper surface with a step from the circumferential portion where the pressed surface is formed And can be moved back and forth along the direction of approaching and moving away from the pressed surface above the stepped portion and between the separated position separated from the pressed surface and the lowered position below the stepped portion. A clamp cover provided so as to be movable up and down, pressing the pressing surface of the die against the pressed surface of the die holder by pressing the die close to the pressed surface side and fixing the die , Position to fix the die A forward / backward restraint mechanism for restraining the forward / backward movement of the clamp cover, a release operation tool for releasing the forward / backward restraint of the clamp cover by the forward / backward restraint mechanism, and a plurality of dispersedly arranged on both sides with respect to the center of the seating surface A lifting mechanism capable of lifting a die having a lower surface seated on the seating surface of the die holder by projecting the elevating member from the seating surface, and a lifting operation tool for lifting the lifting mechanism.
In the die holder device having this configuration, the lower surface of the die is seated on the seating surface of the die holder, and the pressing surface of the die is pressed against the pressed surface of the die holder by the clamp cover located close to the pressed surface of the die holder. Hold the die in place. At this time, the advancement / retraction of the clamp cover is restricted by the advance / retreat restricting mechanism, and the die is kept fixed by the clamp cover.
¡When removing the die from the die holder device, the restraint of the advancing / retreating of the clamp cover by the advancing / retreating restraint mechanism is released by operating the release operating tool. Then, the clamp cover is moved in a direction away from the pressed surface of the die holder and lowered at the separation position. Further, by operating the lifting operation tool, the plurality of lifting members of the lifting mechanism are protruded from the seating surface of the die holder to lift the die. Since the plurality of elevating members are distributed on both sides with respect to the center of the seating surface, the elevating force is equally applied to each part of the lower surface of the die by each elevating member, and the die is lifted straight up . Therefore, even when the die is fitted in the die holding recess formed in the die holder without a gap, the die can be smoothly removed from the die holding recess and lifted. The lifted die is taken out by hand to the side away from the pressed surface without using a tool. As described above, the clamp cover is lowered at the separation position and retracted below the height of the step portion of the die holder, so the side away from the pressed surface with respect to the raised die is an open space. The die can be taken out easily. When the die is mounted on the die holder device, the reverse operation is performed.
In this invention, it is preferable that the upper surface of the circumferential portion of the die holder where the pressed surface is formed and the upper surface of the clamp cover at the clamp position serve as a guide surface for placing and guiding a plate material.
In this way, if the upper surfaces of the die holder and the clamp cover function as a guide surface for the plate material, it is not necessary to separately provide a guide member for placing and guiding the plate material, and the configuration can be simplified. In other words, the present invention is also applicable to a die holder device that can guide a plate material.
In the present invention, the clamp cover may be the lifting operation tool, and the lifting mechanism may perform a lifting operation of the die in conjunction with the lowering of the clamp cover.
If the clamp cover is a lifting operation tool, there is no need to provide a separate lifting operation tool, and the number of parts can be reduced. In addition, if the clamp cover is a lifting operation tool, when mounting the die on the die holder, press the die placed on the lifting member protruding from the seating surface with one hand and use the other hand. By holding the clamp cover and gradually lowering the die while balancing both hands, it is possible to easily seat on the seating surface without applying a sudden force to the die.
In this invention, you may provide the urging mechanism which urges | biases the said clamp cover in the direction away from the said pressing surface of the said die holder.
If the urging mechanism is provided, the clamp cover automatically moves away from the pressed surface of the die holder when the release operation tool is operated to release the restraint of the clamp cover by the forward / backward restraint mechanism. Therefore, the operability of the work of taking out the die from the die holder is improved.
In the present invention, an advance / retreat guide mechanism for guiding advance / retreat of the clamp cover is provided, and the advance / retreat guide mechanism is configured to move the clamp cover when the clamp cover moves away from the clamp position in a direction away from the pressed surface. It is preferable to move the cover while pushing it upward.
When the clamp cover moves upward from the clamp position in a direction away from the pressed surface, in other words, when the clamp cover is moved closer to the pressed surface and moved to the clamp position. That is, it is pushed down, and a downward force is applied to the die at the clamp position. Thereby, the die can be securely attached to the seating surface of the die holder.
In the present invention, a lifting guide mechanism for guiding the lifting and lowering of the clamp cover is provided, and the lifting guide mechanism is gradually moved away from the pressed surface when the clamp cover is lowered from the separation position. It should be lowered while changing the direction downward.
If the said raising / lowering guide mechanism is provided, the transition to the operation | movement which descend | falls from the operation | movement of the direction in which a clamp cover leaves | separates with respect to a to-be-pressed surface can be performed smoothly. Thereby, workability at the time of die exchange is improved.
When the advance / retreat guide mechanism or the elevation guide mechanism is provided, it is preferable that the advance / retreat guide mechanism or the elevation guide mechanism is provided on both sides of the die holder and is provided in a pair on the left and right.
According to this configuration, the clamp cover can be stably guided.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1A to 1C are perspective views showing different states of the die holder device, and FIG. 2 is a plan view of the die holder device in the state of FIG. In FIG. 1A, a die holder device 1 is attached to an outer peripheral portion of a die support base 50 such as a circular lower turret of a turret punch press and supports the die 60 with respect to the die support base 50. . The planar shape of the die holder device 1 is, for example, a substantially sector shape having a width that is wider toward the outer diameter side of the die support base 50 made of the lower turret (FIG. 2), and the upper end protrudes from the upper surface at substantially the center of the upper surface. Thus, the die 60 is held. The die 60 in the figure has a circular planar shape (FIG. 2), and has a punching hole 61 having a square shape in the center. In the following description, the outer diameter side of the die support base 50 is the front side, the radial direction of the die support base 50 is the front-rear direction, and the circumferential direction is the left-right direction.
The die holder device 1 includes a die holder 2 that occupies most of the die holder device 1 and a clamp cover 3 that occupies the front half of the upper portion of the die holder device 1. That is, the front half of the die holder 2 is a stepped portion 8 (FIGS. 1B and 1C) whose upper surface is lower than the rear half with a step. In the state at the time of processing (FIG. 1A), the height of the upper surface of the die holder device 1 is constant, and this upper surface functions as a guide surface F for placing and guiding the plate material W that is a workpiece. The guide surface F includes an upper surface F1 of the die holder 2 and an upper surface F2 of the clamp cover 3.
As shown in FIG. 3, the die holder 2 is provided with a circular die holding recess 4 having a planar shape into which the die 60 is fitted, at substantially the center of the upper surface. Further, following the bottom surface of the die holding recess 4, a planar circular slag discharge hole 5 having a smaller diameter than the die holding recess 4 extends downward. The slag discharge hole 5 communicates with a slag drop hole 51 provided in the die support base 50. An annular bottom surface of the die holding recess 4 is a seating surface 6 on which the lower surface of the die 60 is seated. A portion corresponding to the rear half of the inner peripheral surface 7 of the die holding recess 4 is a pressed surface 7 a to which a pressing surface 60 a that is a part of the outer peripheral surface of the die 60 is pressed. A portion 7b corresponding to the front half of the inner peripheral surface 7 of the die holding recess 4 is formed to have a lower peripheral wall than the pressed surface 7a. The height of the upper end of the lower portion 7 b of the peripheral wall is the height of the stepped portion 8.
The clamp cover 3 can advance and retreat along the front-rear direction, which is a direction approaching and separating from the pressed surface 7a of the die holder 2. When the clamp cover 3 is at the clamp position P1 (FIG. 1A) approaching the rear pressed surface 7a, the pressing surface 60a of the die 60 is pressed against the pressed surface 7a of the die holder 3. The die 60 is fixed. Advancing and retreating of the clamp cover 3 is restrained at the clamp position P1 by an advancing / retreating restraining mechanism 20 described later. In addition, the clamp cover 3 moves up and down between the separation position P2 and the lower position P3 (FIG. 1C) at the separation position P2 (FIG. 1B) separated from the pressed surface 7a. Is possible. At the clamp position P1 and the separation position P2, the clamp cover 3 is located above the stepped portion 8, and at the lowered position P3, the clamp cover 3 is located below the stepped portion 8. In FIGS. 1A to 1C, the clamp position P1, the separation position P2, and the lowered position P3 are shown as the positions of the center of the front end of the clamp cover 3, but these positions P1, P2, and P3 are This indicates the overall position of the clamp cover 3, and as a representative, indicates the position of the lower edge of the chamfering surface of the uppermost front end of the clamp cover 3. The same applies to the drawings in FIGS. 4A to 4D.
The advancement / retraction and raising / lowering of the clamp cover 3 is performed by guidance of the advance / retreat / elevation guide mechanism 10 shown in FIGS. 4 (A) to 4 (D). The advancing / retreating / elevating guide mechanism 10 is provided with two guide grooves 11 formed on both side surfaces of the front half portion of the die holder 3 in the front-rear direction, and the two guide grooves 11 provided in the clamp cover 3. And two guide pins 12 that are slidable along each. The side portion of the die holder 3 where the guide groove 11 is formed is narrower than the other side, and each guide pin 12 protrudes inwardly from the hanging portion 3a of the clamp cover 3 covering the outside of the side portion. Is provided.
Each guide groove 11 includes an advance / retreat guide portion 11a extending forward from the rear end, and an elevating guide portion 11b extending obliquely downward slightly forward following the front end of the advance / retreat guide portion 11a. When the guide pin 12 is positioned near the rear end of the advance / retreat guide portion 11a, the clamp cover 3 is at the clamp position P1 (FIG. 4A), and the guide pin 12 is located at the boundary between the advance / retreat guide portion 11a and the elevation guide portion 11b. When positioned, the clamp cover 3 is at the separation position P2 (FIG. 4B), and when the guide pin 12 is positioned at the lower end of the lifting guide portion 11b, the clamp cover 3 is at the lowered position P3 (FIG. 4D). .
The rear end portion 11aa of the advance / retreat guide portion 11a is inclined so as to be located lower in the rear. For this reason, when the clamp cover 3 moves forward from the clamp position P1 in a direction away from the pressed surface 7a (FIG. 3) of the die holder 2, the clamp cover 3 moves while being pushed upward. In other words, when the clamp cover 3 is moved closer to the pressed surface 7a and moved to the clamp position P1, the clamp cover 3 is pushed downward. That is, the clamp cover 3 applies a downward force to the die 60 at the clamp position P1 (FIG. 4A). Thereby, the die 60 can be reliably brought into close contact with the seating surface 6 (FIG. 3) of the die holder 2.
Moreover, the upper part of the raising / lowering guide part 11b is made into the circular arc-shaped transition part 11ba (FIG. 4 (B), (C)), and the advancing / retreating guide part 11a and the raising / lowering guide part 11b are connected smoothly. Therefore, when the clamp cover 3 is lowered from the separation position P2, the moving direction is gradually changed from the forward direction to the downward direction to reach the direction change end position P2 ′ (FIG. 4C), and from this direction change end position P2 ′. It descends linearly obliquely to the lowered position P3 (FIG. 4D). By providing the transition portion 11ba in this manner, the lowering operation of the clamp cover 3 from the separation position P2 is smoothly performed.
The die holder device 1 restrains the advancing and retreating of the urging mechanism 14 (FIG. 4A) that urges the clamp cover 3 in the direction away from the pressed surface 7a and the clamp cover 3 positioned at the clamp position P1. Forward / backward restraint mechanism 20 (FIG. 5, FIG. 6 (A), (B)) and a release operation tool 25 for releasing the restraint of forward / backward movement of the clamp cover 3 by this forward / backward restraint mechanism 20 (FIG. 5, FIG. 6 (A)). , (B)).
The urging mechanisms 14 are provided at both left and right ends of the clamp cover 3, respectively. As shown in FIGS. 4A, 4B, and 4C, each urging mechanism 14 is slidably fitted in a front / rear through hole 15 extending in the front / rear direction, and a rear end thereof is a front / rear through hole 15. The rod-shaped member 16 that protrudes further rearward, the plug member 17 that closes the front portion of the front and rear through-holes 15, and a compression spring 18 that is interposed between the rod-shaped member 16 and the plug member 17 are configured. The front and rear through-holes 15 have a stepped shape with a small diameter near the rear end, and the rod-shaped member 16 has a stepped shape with a large diameter near the front end, as shown in FIGS. 4B and 4C. In a state where the step surface of the rod-like member 16 is in contact with the step surface of the front and rear through-hole 15, the rod-like member 16 is restricted from moving further rearward. The die holder 2 is provided with a step surface 19 that faces the rear end of the rod-shaped member 16.
The forward / backward restraining mechanism 20 is also provided at two places on the left and right. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 (A) and 6 (B), each forward / backward restraining mechanism 20 is provided with an engagement pin 22 that is provided in the die holder 2 and slidably fits in a vertical through-hole 21 that extends in the vertical direction. And an engaging member 23 protruding downward from the lower surface of the clamp cover 3. The engagement pin 22 is biased upward by a return spring 24, and its upper end protrudes from the upper and lower through holes 21 when no external force is applied. The upper end of the engagement pin 22 has a mountain shape on the side, and a front inclined surface 22a facing forward and a rear inclined surface 22b facing rear are formed. The rear inclined surface 22b is larger in inclination, that is, the inclination angle with respect to the horizontal plane than the front inclined surface 22a. The front surface 23 a of the engaging member 23 is an inclined surface having substantially the same inclination as the rear inclined surface 22 b of the engaging pin 22.
The release operation tool 25 is provided in the front opening 26 of the die holder 2 so as to be operated up and down, and is integrally formed with the left and right engagement pins 22 via left and right connecting members 25a integrated with the release operation tool 25, respectively. Linked to work. The connecting member 25 a is disposed in a space 27 that connects the upper and lower intermediate portions of the left and right upper and lower through holes 21.
6(B))。 When the clamp cover 3 is at the clamp position P1, the urging mechanism 14 has the rear end of the bar-shaped member 16 abutted against the step surface 19 of the die holder 2, the position of the bar-shaped member 16 is regulated, and the compression spring 18 is compressed. It is in a state (FIG. 4A). At this time, the forward / backward restraint mechanism 20 engages the front inclined surface 22b of the upper end of the engagement pin 22 with the front surface 23a of the engagement member 23 to restrain the forward movement of the clamp cover 3 (FIG. 6A). ). When the release operating tool 25 is pushed downward from this state, the engagement pin 22 descends, the engagement between the engagement pin 22 and the engagement member 23 is released, and the elastic repulsion force of the compression spring 18 of the biasing mechanism 14. As a result, the clamp cover 3 advances to the separation position P2 (FIGS. 4B and 6B).
Further, the die holder device 1 includes a lifting mechanism 30 (FIG. 1A) for lifting the die 60 seated on the seating surface 6 of the die holder 2, and a lifting operation tool for lifting the lifting mechanism 30. Is provided. In this example, the lifting operation tool is the crank cover 3.
Details of the lifting mechanism 30 are shown in FIGS. 5, 7 </ b> A, 7 </ b> B, and 8 </ b> A, 8 </ b> B. The lifting mechanism 30 is a mechanism that lifts the die 60 by causing a plurality of lifting members 31 arranged on both the left and right sides of the center of the seating surface 6 of the die holder 2 to protrude from the seating surface 6. In the illustrated example, a pair of front and rear elevating members 31 are provided on both the left and right sides of the seating surface 6 with the front-rear center line L (FIG. 5) of the seating surface 6 interposed therebetween. Each elevating member 31 is arranged so that its axial center is located substantially on the outer circumference of the seating surface 6.
As shown in FIG. 8B, the pair of front and rear elevating members 31 are provided with engaging grooves 31a along the front and rear direction, and the front and rear end portions of the elevating operation plate 32 are respectively provided in the engaging grooves 31a of both the elevating members 31. It is slidably engaged back and forth. The elevating member 31 is slidably fitted in an upper and lower through hole 33 provided in the die holder 2 and extending in the vertical direction, and the elevating operation plate 32 is disposed in a space 34 that connects the front and rear upper and lower through holes 33. .
As shown in FIG. 5 and FIGS. 7A and 7B, the side surface of the die holder 2 is provided with a balance lever 36 that is rotatable about a rotation center axis 35. The balance lever 36 has a longer shape from the rotation center shaft 35 to the front end than to the rear end. The rear end of the balance lever 36 is rotatably connected to the front / rear center position of the elevating operation plate 32 via a connecting shaft 37. The hole of the lifting operation plate 32 into which the connecting shaft 37 is inserted is a long hole 32a (FIG. 8A) that is long in the front-rear direction, and the front and rear positions of the lifting operation plate 32 with respect to the connecting shaft 37 have flexibility. The connecting shaft 37 is inserted through a communication hole 38 provided in the die holder 2. A roller 39 is rotatably provided at the front end of the balance lever 36. The balance lever 36 in the illustrated example has a structure in which the rear member 36a and the front member 36b (FIG. 5) are formed as separate members and are fixed, but may be a single piece.
As shown in FIG. 7A, a pressing surface that pushes down the balance lever 36 by contacting the outer surface of the hanging portion 3a of the clamp cover 3 as a lifting operation tool while rolling on the roller 39 during the lifting operation. 40 is formed. The pressing surface 40 is composed of an upwardly inclined surface portion 40a and a horizontal surface portion 40b extending rearward after the inclined surface portion 40a. When the clamp cover 3 is at the clamp position P <b> 1, the height of the front end of the inclined surface portion 40 a substantially coincides with the height of the upper end of the roller 39, and the front and rear positions of the front end of the inclined surface portion 40 a are separated rearward from the roller 39. When the clamp cover 3 is advanced from the clamp position P1 to the separation position P2, the roller 39 comes into contact with the horizontal surface portion 40b through a process of rolling the inclined surface portion 40a. When the clamp cover 3 is lowered from the separation position P2, the roller 39 is pushed down by the horizontal surface portion 40b, and the balance lever 36 is rotated. By the rotation of the balance lever 36, each elevating member 31 shown in FIG. 8B is raised, and the upper end of each elevating member 31 protrudes from the seating surface 6. FIG. 7B shows a state when the clamp cover 3 is in the lowered position P3.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a positioning engagement piece 42 having a substantially U-shaped engagement notch 42 a protrudes from the rear end surface of the die holder 2. As for the engagement notch 42, the opening side of the rear part is open in the taper shape. The die holder device 1 is positioned in the left-right direction by engaging the positioning pins 52 fixed to the die support base 50 in the engagement notches 42. The positioning pin 52 is screwed into a screw hole 53 provided in the die support base 50. Thus, for example, the four corners of the die holder 2 are fixed to the die support base 50 by the fixing bolts 54 inserted from below the die support base 50 in the state where the positioning in the left-right direction is performed.
In the state at the time of processing shown in FIG. 1 (A), the die 60 is fitted in the die holding recess 4 with the lower surface seated on the seating surface 6 of the die holder 2. At this time, the die 60 is fixed by pressing the pressing surface 60a of the die 60 of FIG. 3 against the pressed surface 7a of the die holder 2 by the clamp cover 3 at the clamp position P1. As described above with reference to FIG. 4A, the clamp cover 3 at the clamp position P1 applies a downward force to the die 60, so that the die 60 of FIG. 6 can be firmly seated in a stable state.
The replacement of the die 60 is performed according to the following procedure.
First, the release operation tool 25 is pushed down by hand. As a result, the restraint by the forward / backward restraining mechanism 20 (FIGS. 5 and 6B) is released, and the elastic repulsive force of the compression spring 18 of the urging means 14 (FIG. 4B) causes the force shown in FIG. Thus, the clamp cover 3 advances to the front separation position P2. Since the clamp cover 3 automatically advances forward simply by lowering the release operation tool 25, workability is good. When the hand is released from the release operation tool 25, the engagement pin 22 and the release operation tool 25 of the advance / retreat restricting mechanism 20 are returned to their original positions by the action of the return spring 24 in FIG. As shown in FIG. 7A, for example, the clamp cover 3 that has advanced to the separation position P2 has a front end protruding beyond the outer diameter end of the die support base 50.
Next, the clamp cover 3 is pushed by hand and lowered to the lowered position P3. As a result, the lifting mechanism 30 (FIGS. 5 and 7B) performs a lifting operation to lift the die 60 seated on the seating surface 6 as shown in FIG. 1C. Since the plurality of elevating members 31 of the lifting mechanism 30 are distributed on both the left and right sides with respect to the center of the seating surface 6, the elevating force is equally applied to each part of the lower surface of the die 60 by each elevating member 31. And the die 60 is lifted straight. Therefore, even when the die 60 is fitted in the die holding recess 4 of the die holder 2 without a gap, or even when the die 60 has a large diameter and is slightly tilted, it is difficult to pull out from the die holding recess 4. The die 60 can be lifted smoothly.
As shown in FIG. 7B, the die 60 lifted from the seating surface 6 has a lower end that is substantially the same height as the upper end of the portion 7 b corresponding to the front half of the inner peripheral surface 7 of the die holding recess 4. Due to the lifting operation of the die 60, the clamp cover 3 is retracted below the height of the step portion 8, and the front is an open space with respect to the lifted die 60. Therefore, even when the die support base 50 is the lower turret of the turret punch press and the upper turret is above the lower turret, the die 60 can be easily taken forward through the notch-shaped recess 8 that is the stepped portion. it can.
When the die 60 is mounted on the die holder device 1, the die 60 is placed on each lifting member 31 protruding from the seating surface 6, and the die 60 is pushed downward to be fitted into the die holding recess 4. At that time, the die 60 is pressed with one hand, the clamp cover 3 is pressed with the other hand, and the die 60 is gradually lowered while keeping the balance between both hands, thereby applying no sudden force to the die 60. It can be easily seated on the seating surface 6. Since the front end of the clamp cover 3 protrudes from the outer diameter end of the die support base 50, the above operation is easy. Thereafter, when the clamp cover 3 raised to the separation position P2 by pushing down the die 60 is pushed down to the clamp position P1, the forward / backward restraint mechanism 20 functions and the forward / backward movement of the clamp cover 3 is restricted.
Thus, in this die holder device 1, the die 60 can be easily replaced by a simple operation without removing a part or the whole of the die holder device 1 from the die support base 50 and using a tool. Therefore, it is not necessary to secure a space for placing a part or the whole of the tool or the removed die holder device near the position where the die replacement work is performed. Further, since the clamp cover 3 is a lifting operation tool, there is no need to provide a separate lifting operation tool, and the number of parts can be reduced. Furthermore, since the upper surfaces of the die holder 2 and the clamp cover 3 are the guide surfaces F of the plate material, there is no need to provide a separate guide member for placing and guiding the plate material, and the configuration can be simplified.
