Abstract

The present invention relates to a side mirror for a vehicle, and more specifically, to a side mirror for a vehicle which is configured to maintain proper viewing angle for the vehicle driver and to solve problems such as the blind spot issue caused by the body of the car, distortion of images displayed through side mirrors of a vehicle, and an inaccurate sense of distance, by enabling the side mirror for the vehicle to have an aspheric multifocal form. The side mirror for the vehicle is divided into an inner region, an outer region, and a central region to have each radius of curvature and each eccentricity ratio in a horizontal direction, wherein the radiuses of curvature and the eccentricity ratios in the inner region and the outer region have different values, and the radiuses of curvature and the eccentricity ratios on both ends of the central region are the same as those in the inner region and the outer region and are changed gradually.
