Abstract

본 발명의 일 실시예는 CPNS(Converged Personal Network Service) 인에이블 엔티티(enabled entity)를 구비하는 제1 장치에 의해 수행되는 다른 장치와 통신하는 방법을 제공한다. 상기 통신 방법은 상기 CPNS 인에이블 엔티티의 모드가 게이트웨이 모드에서 결합 모드로 변경되어야 하는지 여부를 결정하는 단계와; 상기 결정 단계의 결과에 따라 상기 CPNS 인에이블 엔티티의 모드를 상기 게이트웨이 모드에서 상기 결합 모드로 변경하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서 상기 결합 모드로의 변경에 따라, 상기 CPNS 인에이블 엔티티는 PNE(Personal Network Entity) 모드로 동작하여 상기 제2 장치로부터 제2 네트워크의 서비스를 위한 데이터를 수신하고, 상기 게이트웨이 모드로 동작하여 상기 수신한 서비스 데이터를 상기 CPNS 인에이블 엔티티에 의해 관리되는 제1 네트워크에 속한 적어도 하나의 엔티티로 전송할 수 있다. 상기 통신 방법은 상기 PNE 모드로 동작하는 CPNS 인에이블 엔티티와 상기 제2 장치와의 동기를 고려하여, 상기 게이트웨이 모드로 동작하는 CPNS 인에이블 엔티티와 상기 적어도 하나의 엔티티와의 동기를 제어하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
