Abstract

The invention in question relates to a fold-out hanging locket containing elements for optical use, that is preferably made of a lightweight material such as plastic, and that enables the wearer to wear a decorative object that, when unfolded, serves as elements for optical use. It comprises a round locket made up of two fancy portions that may be complementary, when the locket is folded up, with one, two or more complementary colours. The two portions are hinged together by a small hinge of which the attachment flanges are received in the thickness of each plastic portion. At the centre of each plastic portion, within the thickness thereof, is a prescription lens. The locket has a hanging means, preferably without a fastening.

The present invention rests on a folding pendant-medallion and carrier of elements for optical use that is preferably manufactured in a lightweight material such as a plastic, and that allows its wearer-wearer to carry a decorative object that deployed allows its use as elements for optical use.

Therefore it belongs to the field of decorative accessories with optical use.

State of the art

To date, glasses are known to wear in a case which require a bag where they are carried with the discomfort of having to look for them and store them.

There are also covers for glasses that can be housed in belts but these are rarely used because they are not comfortable. There are normal glasses hung by a chain of low reliability that with use can be easily opened and lost. In addition, the glasses are subject to deterioration either because the pins open or because the glasses deteriorate and scratch. With the present invention these inconveniences are avoided and a highly decorative complement is acquired.

Applicants do not know of any previous similar invention. Description of the invention

It consists of a rounded medallion consisting of two capricious areas that can be complementary, when the medallion is folded with one, two or several complementary colors. The two zones articulate each other by a small hinge whose fixing fins are housed in the thickness of each plastic zone. In the center of the plastic areas and within their thickness, there are two prescription lenses. The medallion will be provided with an element to hang preferably without closure.

Advantages

The advantages of this invention are apparent from this description, although we will now list the main ones with a purely enunciative and non-limiting nature, namely:

 - They have an easy manufacture.

 - They are easy for your user to carry because of their low weight and quick availability.

 - When the lenses or magnifying glass are included in the thickness of the medallion, they defend themselves from deterioration by rubbing.

 - They have a high decorative value.

 - They are an economic complement.

- They are very effective for an instant look, for example when shopping to see prices or details, see or read letters in restaurants or similar.

 The present invention consists of two rounded zones (1 and 2) made of a plastic material, resins or any other similar material peripherally cut in a capricious manner that can be coordinated with each other to complete a joint design when both zones are folded. In its center and within its thickness two prescription lenses are fixed (3).

These areas may have one or two colors per face. The two zones are articulated by a small hinge (4) whose fixing fins (5) are inserted in the thickness of the plastic areas for fixing. The hinge being visible only from the inside of the medallion.

Also the medallion will be equipped with a cord or ribbon of little weight to hang. This cord or ribbon can be provided with beads of the same or different material.

The medallion can also be made only with its most decorative area in which a magnifying glass (3 ') will be introduced.

Claims

one . These areas may have one or two colors per face. Between them the two zones are articulated by a small visagra (4) whose fixing fins (5) are introduced in the thickness of the plastic zones for their fixation. The hinge being visible only from the inside of the medallion.

 Also the medallion will be equipped with a cord or ribbon of little weight to hang. This cord or ribbon can be provided with beads of the same or different material.

2. Folding medallion-pendant and carrier of elements for optical use characterized in that it can be made with a single zone (1) by introducing a magnifying glass (3 ') at its center.
