由此可见, 釆用本发明所述的家庭网关及方法, 使网关的驱动与 USB modem的应用层接口适配, 并且根据 USB modem选择相应的初始化流程, 使任意的 USB modem可在家庭网关上使用, 可有效减轻用户的经济负担, 有利于家庭网关产品以及通过家庭网关无线连接 Internet业务的推广。 附图说明

本发明的基本思想是:驱动适配模块在 USB modem接入家庭网关后确 定 USB modem的模式, 对 USB modem的应用层接口驱动进行适配, 应用 适配模块对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化, 通过广域网 (WAN )连接 管理模块进行网络连接。
下面通过附图和具体实施例来对本发明进一步详细说明, 如图 1所示, 一种适配 USB modem的家庭网关, 包括:
系统驱动模块 103 , 用于运行驱动适配模块 101匹配的 USB modem的 应用层接口驱动;
驱动适配模块 101 , USB modem接入,用于匹配所述 USB modem的应 用层接口驱动, 通过系统驱动模块 103运行匹配的应用层接口驱动; 向应 用适配模块 102发送驱动匹配完成消息; 所述应用层用于提供用户操作功

应用适配模块 102, 用于对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化, 将初始 化完成的消息发送给 WAN连接管理模块 104; 所述初始化完成的消息中包 含 USB modem的必要信息;
WAN连接管理模块 104,用于接收初始化完成的消息,显示 USB modem 的必要信息, 根据用户的选择, 进行网络连接或其他操作。
驱动适配模块 101具体用于, 读取 USB modem信息, 所述信息包括厂 商号 (VID, Vender ID )、 产品号 (PID, Product ID )、 设备类型参数、 端 点信息等, 所述设备类型参数代表设备不同的模式; 其中, 端点是 USB接 口的组成部分,所述端点信息指 USB接口中各端点的端点地址和端点类型, 其中端点类型包括输入端点、 输出端点、 中断端点等; 判断 USB modem是 否处于存储设备 ( mass storage )模式, 在 mass storage模式下, USB modem 为 U盘或光驱的形式, 所述判断包括: 读取 USB modem信息中的设备类 型参数,根据 USB协议中对设备类型参数的设定确定 USB modem的模式, 例如, 设备类型参数为 0, 则处于 mass storage模式, 为 1 , 则处于应用层 模式; 所述应用层模式为可供用户操作的模式例如命令行、 用户界面(UI ) 等。
驱动适配模块 101具体用于, 确定 USB modem处于 mass storage模式 时, 将 mass storage模式切换为应用层模式, 具体为: 根据 PID、 VID查询 本地预置的切换指令表 USB_MASS_TABLE, 查找与所述 PID、 VID对应 的切换指令, 所述切换指令表 USB_MASS_TABLE包括 PID、 VID及其对 应的切换指令。 根据切换指令继续查询本地预置的端点表, 确定要发送切 换指令的可能的端点地址, 所述端点表中包含切换指令及其对应的可能的 端点地址, 所述可能的端点地址为 USB接口的输入端点的地址, 将 USB modem信息中的端点信息的端点地址与端点表中切换指令对应的端点地址 取交集, 向所述交集中的端点地址发送切换指令, 回复接收到切换指令的 端点对应的地址为正确的端点地址, 否则, 端点地址错误, 向所述交集中 的下一端点地址发送切换指令, USB modem接收切换指令,从 mass storage 模式切换到应用层模式。
驱动适配模块 101具体用于, 确定 USB modem处于应用层模式时, 从 USB modem读取 PID、 VID,根据读取的 PID、 VID查询本地预置的 modem 驱动表 USB_MODEM_TABLE, 确定所述 PID、 VID对应的应用层接口驱 动, 应用层接口与驱动适配, 将应用层接口对应的驱动发送给系统驱动模 块 103; 所述 modem驱动表 USB_MODEM_TABLE包括 PID、 VID及其对 应的应用层接口驱动, 同时为该 USB modem 设置一个标识变量 VID_modemtype并保存, 所述 VID_modemtype用于标识 USB modem的型 号, 即 USB modem 所属的厂商及制式, 其中, VID 表示厂商号, VID_modemtype表示此 USB modem的制式, 例如 WCDMA、 EVDO或者 TD-SCDMA。
应用适配模块 102具体用于, 收到驱动匹配完成消息后, 读取驱动适 配模块 101中的标识变量 VID_modemtype , 根据标识变量 VID_modemtype 确定 USB modem所属的厂商、 制式, 从而选择与所述 USB modem对应的 初始化流程, 对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化; 所述初始化流程为本地 预置, 用于读取 USB modem应用层的必要信息包括网络类型、是否开启个 人标识码(PIN )等。
本发明还提供了一种适配 USB modem的方法, 如图 2所示, 具体步骤 下:
步骤 201 , USB modem接入家庭网关, 匹配应用层接口驱动; 若 USB modem接入家庭网关, 家庭网关连接 USB modem的接口向驱 动适配模块发送 USB modem接入信息, 驱动适配模块判断 USB modem是 否处于 mass storage模式,所述 mass storage模式下 USB modem为光驱或 U 盘等, 所述判断具体过程为: 驱动适配模块读取 USB modem信息, 所述 USB modem信息包括 VID、 PID, 设备类型参数、 端点信息等, 所述设备 类型参数指设备不同的模式, 所述端点信息指 USB接口中各端点的端点地 址、 端点类型包括输入端点、 输出端点、 中断端点等; 驱动适配模块读取 USB modem信息中的设备类型参数,根据 USB协议中对设备类型参数的设 定确定 USB modem的模式, 例如, 设备类型参数为 0, 则处于 mass storage 模块, 为 1 , 则处于应用层模式; 所述应用层模式为可提供用户操作的模式 例如命令行、 ui等。
驱动适配模块确定 USB modem处于 mass storage模式时, 需要将 mass storage模式切换为应用层模式,所述切换具体过程为:根据 USB modem信 息中的 PID、 VID查询本地预置的切换指令表 USB_MASS_TABLE, 查找 与所述 PID、 VID对应的切换指令, 所述切换指令表 USB_MASS_TABLE 包括 PID、 VID及其对应的切换指令。驱动适配模块继续根据所述切换指令 继续查询本地预置的端点表, 确定要发送切换指令的可能的端点地址, 所 述端点表中包含切换指令及其对应的可能的端点地址, 所述可能的端点地 址为 USB接口的输入端点的地址, 将 USB modem信息中的端点信息的端 点地址与端点表中切换指令对应的端点地址取交集, 驱动适配模块向所述 交集中的端点地址发送切换指令, 回复接收端切换指令的端点对应的地址 为正确的端点地址, 否则, 端点地址错误, 向交集中的下一端点地址发送 切换指令, USB modem接收切换指令, 从 mass storage模式切换到应用层 模式。
驱动适配模块确定 USB modem处于应用层模式时,驱动适配模块读取 USB modem的 PID、 VID, 才艮据读取的 PID、 VID查询本地预置的 modem 驱动表 USB_MODEM_TABLE, 确定所述 PID、 VID对应的应用层接口驱 动, USB modem应用层接口与驱动适配, 驱动适配模块将 USB modem应 用层接口驱动发送给系统驱动模块,由系统驱动模块运行 USB modem应用 层接口对应的驱动, 所述 USB_MODEM_TABLE包括 PID、 VID及其对应 的应用层接口驱动, 然后驱动适配模块为 USB modem设置标识变量 VID_modemtype并保存在本地,所述 VID_modemtype用于标 i只 USB modem 的型号, 即 USB modem所属的厂商及制式, 其中, VID 表示厂商号, VID_modemtype表示此卡的制式, 例如 WCDM A、 EVDO或 TD-SCDM A。
若 USB modem 没有与家庭网关相连, 家庭网关可直接通过自身的 RJ45WAN接口与小区的宽带相连, 为用户提供连接 Internet服务。
步骤 202, 对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化;
应用层驱动适配完成后, 驱动适配模块向应用适配模块发送驱动匹配 完成消息, 应用适配模块读取标识变量 VID_modemtype , 确定 USB modem 所属的厂商、 制式, 从而选择与所述 USB modem对应的初始化流程, 对 USB modem进行初始化, 所述初始化流程内置在应用适配模块, 用于读取 USB modem应用层的必要信息包括网络类型、 是否开启 PIN等。
步骤 203, 初始化完成后, 根据用户选择进行网络连接或者其他操作。 初始化完成后,应用适配模块将初始化完成消息发送给 WAN连接管理 模块, 所述初始化完成消息中包含 USB modem应用层的必要信息, WAN 连接管理模块将 USB modem应用层的必要信息显示给用户,用户选择连接 网络或其他操作, WAN连接管理模块根据用户的选择进行网络连接或执行 其他操作。
以上所述, 仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已, 并非用于限定本发明的保 护范围, 凡在本发明的精神和原则之内所作的任何修改、 等同替换和改进 等, 均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。

Claims

权利要求书
1、 一种适配通用串行总线无线数据卡 USB modem的家庭网关, 包括: 系统驱动模块、 广域网 WAN连接管理模块, 其特征在于, 该家庭网关还包 括:
驱动适配模块, USB modem接入时用于确定 USB modem的模式, 匹 配 USB modem的应用层接口驱动, 同时为 USB modem设置标识变量, 向 应用适配模块发送驱动匹配完成的消息;
应用适配模块, 用于根据 USB modem的标识变量, 选择相应的初始化 流程, 对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化, 向 WAN连接管理模块发送初 始化完成的消息, 通过 WAN接口管理模块进行网络连接。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的家庭网关, 其特征在于,
所述驱动适配模块具体用于 ,读取 USB modem信息 ,所述 USB modem 信息包括厂商号 VID、 产品号 PID、 设备类型参数、 端点信息; 根据 USB modem信息中的设备类型参数以及 USB协议中对设备类型参数的定义, 确定 USB modem处于存储设备模式还是应用层模式。
3、 根据权利要求 2所述的家庭网关, 其特征在于,
所述驱动适配模块具体用于, 确定 USB modem处于存储设备模式, 根 据 PID、 VID查询本地预置的切换指令表, 查找与所述 PID、 VID对应的 切换指令, 根据切换指令进一步查询端点表, 查找与所述切换指令对应的 端点地址, 将所述端点地址与 USB modem信息中的端点信息中的端点地 址取交集, 向所述交集中的端点地址发送切换指令, USB modem接收切 换指令, 从存储设备模式切换到应用层模式。
4、 根据权利要求 2或 3所述的家庭网关, 其特征在于,
所述驱动适配模块具体用于, USB modem处于应用层模式时, 从 USB modem读取其 PID、 VID, 根据读取的 PID、 VID查询 modem驱动表, 确 定所述 USB modem应用层接口对应的驱动 , 应用层接口与驱动适配。
5、 根据权利要求 4所述的家庭网关, 其特征在于,
所述应用适配模块具体用于, 读取驱动适配模块的标识变量, 根据标 识变量确定 USB modem所属的厂商、 制式, 选择与所述 USB modem相对 应的初始化流程, 对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化, 所述初始化用于读 取 USB modem应用层的必要信息。
6、 一种适配 USB modem的方法, 其特征在于, 该方法包括:
USB modem接入家庭网关,确定 USB modem的模式,适配 USB modem 的应用层驱动, 同时为 USB modem设置标识变量, 才艮据 USB modem的标 识变量选择相应的初始化流程, 对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化, 根据 用户操作进行网络连接。
7、 根据权利要求 6所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述确定 USB modem 的模式包括:
读取 USB modem信息, 所述 USB modem信息包括 PID、 VID、 设备 类型参数、 端点信息, 根据设备类型参数以及 USB协议对于设备类型参数 的规定, 确定 USB modem处于存储设备模式还是应用层模式。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述确定 USB modem 处于存储设备模式之后, 该方法进一步包括:
根据 PID、 VID查询本地预置的切换指令表, 获取与所述 PID、 VID对 应的切换指令, 根据切换指令进一步查询端点表, 获取与所述切换指令对 应的端点地址, 将所述端点地址与端点信息中的端点地址取交集, 向所述 交集中的端点地址发送切换指令, USB modem接收切换指令, 从存储设备 模式切换到应用层模式。
9、 根据权利要求 7或 8所述的方法, 所述适配 USB modem的应用层 驱动包括: 读取 USB modem的 PID、 VID, 根据读取的 PID、 VID查询 modem驱 动表, 确定与所述 PID、 VID对应的 USB modem应用层接口驱动, 应用层 接口与驱动匹配。
10、 根据权利要求 9所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述根据 USB modem 的型号选择相应的初始化流程, 对 USB modem的应用层进行初始化包括: 读取 USB modem的标识变量, 确定 USB modem所属的厂商、 制式, 选择与所述 USB modem对应的初始化流程, 对 USB modem的应用层进行 初始化。
