Abstract
De l'hydrogène est produit à partir d'aluminium résiduel par sa réaction avec de l'eau en présence d'hydroxyde de sodium en tant que catalyseur. En plus de l'hydrogène, les produits de la réaction sont également l'hydroxyde d'aluminium, le chlorure de sodium, la chaleur et éventuellement l'énergie électrique. La réaction se produit dans le réacteur (1), et l'hydrogène est collecté dans un réservoir d'hydrogène basse pression (3). La caractéristique principale de la production d'hydrogène, selon l'invention, est que le gaz est successivement éliminé du réacteur (1) et/ou d'autres dispositifs accessoires à l'aide d'une pompe à vide (4) à une pression minimale de 0,5 kPa avant la réaction, puis le réacteur est rempli d'hydrogène présentant une pureté minimale de 99,5%, le gaz est à nouveau extrait par pompage, puis on procède à un remplissage ultérieur avec de l'hydrogène présentant une pureté minimale de 99,5% à nouveau jusqu'à atteindre une pression positive d'au moins 0,1 MPa. Le gaz éliminé du réacteur et/ou d'un équipement accessoire à l'aide de la pompe à vide (4) est évacué vers une cheminée (5) et dispersé dans l'atmosphère. L'invention a pour objet un procédé et un dispositif pour la production sûre d'hydrogène à une échelle industrielle et d'autres produits ainsi que leur purification pour une application industrielle appropriée en tant que matières premières pour une autre production industrielle.
