Definitions
- the present invention relates to an alcohol water mixed fuel having low soot generation and high calorie content.
- the conventional alcohol fuel has various problems such as low calories, toxic gas generation, short combustion duration, and risk of fire due to careless handling due to liquefaction during combustion, and paraffin-based solid fuel is used as a substitute.
- paraffin-based solid fuel is used as a substitute.
- this also seems to be convenient because the paraffin is liquefied during combustion and odor is caused by combustion and carelessness or spillage is very large and solid, but its use is limited.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an alcohol mixed fuel that can be used as an alternative energy fuel while at the same time obtaining a high calorie energy.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an alcohol mixed fuel having low soot generation and good thermal power.
- the alcohol mixed fuel of the present invention for achieving the above object includes methanol and ethanol, water, potassium dichromate and potassium permanganate as main components.
- the weight of the methanol is preferably more than the weight of the ethanol.
- 10 to 85 parts by weight of methanol, 5 to 35 parts by weight of ethanol, 1 to 20 parts by weight of acetone, 5 to 60 parts by weight of water, 0.3 to 10 parts by weight of potassium dichromate and permanganic acid Potassium is 0.1 to 5 parts by weight.
- the alcohol mixed fuel further includes 3 to 10 parts by weight of toluene.
- the alcohol mixed fuel is prepared by further comprising 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of hexane or 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of solvent.
- Alcohol mixed fuel production method of the present invention for achieving the above object is 10 to 85 parts by weight of methanol, 5 to 35 parts by weight of ethanol, 1 to 20 parts by weight of acetone, 5 to 60 parts by weight of water, 0.3 to 10 parts by weight of dichromic acid Prepared by mixing potassium, 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of potassium permanganate.
- a high calorie energy can be obtained and used as an alternative energy fuel.
- the generation of soot is small and the thermal power is good.
- 1 is a calorific value of an alcohol mixed fuel according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- 3 is a freezing point of the alcohol mixed fuel according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the alcohol mixed fuel of the present invention is prepared by mixing acetone, water, potassium dichromate and potassium permanganate in alcohol as a main component, and may include at least one of toluene, hexane, and solvent as an additive.
- the alcohol is a mixture of methanol and ethanol, and preferably, methanol has a content ratio of approximately twice that of ethanol.
- composition ratio of the alcohol mixed fuel according to the present invention is as follows.
- the ambient temperature of the flash point of methanol is -1 to 32 ° C.
- 1/2 weight of ethanol is mixed with respect to methanol, lowering the flammability of methanol, and mixing water serving as a supporting agent.
- acetone and potassium dichromate are mixed, acetone increases the calories and the mixing of the additives well, as well as providing explosive power by reaction with potassium dichromate.
- Potassium dichromate is mixed to act as a catalyst to separate water particles into hydrogen and oxygen with strong explosive power by calorific enhancement and ignition with acetone.
- potassium permanganate is mixed to prevent corrosion.
- toluene and a small amount of hexane, solvent, and the like are mixed to enhance calories.
- toluene, hexane and solvents are incidental additives in which at least one or more may be used selectively, the purpose of which is to increase calories.
- water is decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen using primary thermal energy by combustion of methanol and ethanol and secondary thermal energy and chemical reaction by combustion (explosion) of acetone and potassium dichromate.
- primary thermal energy by combustion of methanol and ethanol
- secondary thermal energy and chemical reaction by combustion (explosion) of acetone and potassium dichromate.
- Water particles are vaporized by the primary thermal energy of methanol and ethanol, which are the main fuels of the present invention, and the secondary reaction by the combustion of acetone and potassium dichromate. Diffuses to cause atomization, which aids in the complete combustion of the fuel.
- water (H 2 O) acts as a supporting agent by causing a subsequent radical reaction, which is liberated with oxygen (O), hydrogen (H), and hydroxyl (OH). That is, at high temperature, water vapor decomposes to produce hydrogen radicals (H), and hydrogen radicals (H) combine with oxygen molecules (O 2) to form oxygen radicals (O) and water (1).
- Oxygen radicals (O) generated in Formula 1 combine with hydrogen molecules in Formula 2 to form hydroxyl radicals (OH) and hydrogen radicals (H) (Formula 2).
- hydroxyl radicals combine with hydrogen molecules to form water and hydrogen radicals.
- water vapor (H 2 O) and hydrogen are combined to generate water and hydrogen radicals.
- the reaction of the equation 1 ⁇ 4 proceeds in a complicated manner to promote combustion.
- composition ratio of the alcohol mixed fuel according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- SW bioenergy Alcohol mixed fuel
- the calorific value, the nitrous oxide generation rate and the freezing point were measured with the alcohol mixed fuel (SW bioenergy; sample) having the composition ratio as described above, and the results are shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. 1 to 3, when the total calorific value was tested with the sample, the calorific value was 17,680 J / g, and the carbon dioxide generation rate was measured with 6.06% as the same sample. Finally, the freezing point was measured with the same sample, and the result was -45.0 ° C or lower.
- the calorific value of 17,680 J / g indicates that the hydrogen is decomposed and the hydrogen is combusted, and carbon dioxide is generated at a small rate.
- the calorific value may be reduced.
- the calorific value may be increased, but the methanol content is reduced as the water is reduced. This increase in fuel cost can be increased. Therefore, in the alcohol mixed fuel of the present invention, the best calorific value is obtained when 30-40% of water is mixed.
- Alcohol mixed fuel of the present invention described above is to allow alcohol to be used as an alternative energy of thermal power in various fields such as farms, industrials, etc., and high thermal power and soot generation can be reduced to 1/10 of general petroleum fuel. .
