Abstract

Bei einer Wasserkraftmaschine mit wenigstens einem Schaufelrad, das eine drehbar gelagerte, eine Mehrzahl von Schaufeln tragende Nabe aufweist und das in einem Fließgewässer, insbesondere Gerinne derart einbaubar ist, dass das Schaufelrad mit seiner Nabe ein Stauelement ausbildet, sodass oberwasserseitig ein Staupegel erzeugt wird und die zwischen Oberwasser und Unterwasser gemessene Fallhöhe mit dem Durchmesser der Nabe begrenzt ist, ist mit der Rotation einer mit der Nabe verbundenen Welle ggf. unter Zwischenschaltung eines Getriebes ein elektrischer drehzahlvariabler Generator gekoppelt, der ein variables Bremsmoment auf das Schaufelrad ausübt. Es ist eine Pegelmesseinrichtung zur Messung des Staupegels vorgesehen und die Messwerte der Pegelmesseinrichtung sind einer Regelungsoder Steuereinheit zugeführt, wobei die Regelungs- oder Steuereinheit mit dem elektrischen Generator zur Beeinflussung des Bremsmoments derart zusammenwirkt, dass ein vorgegebener Staupegel konstant gehalten wird.
