Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un appareil permettant de décoder de la vidéo et à un procédé et à un appareil permettant de coder de la vidéo sur la base d'un ordre de balayage d'unités de données hiérarchiques. Le procédé de décodage comprend les étapes consistant à : recevoir et analyser un train binaire d'une vidéo codée ; extraire, à partir du train binaire, des informations de codage qui concernent une profondeur codée et un mode de codage des unités de codage de l'image ; et déterminer une structure hiérarchisée de l'unité de codage maximum et des unités de codage dans lesquelles l'image est divisée selon des profondeurs, et décoder l'image sur la base des unités de codage, en utilisant les informations de codage qui concernent la profondeur codée et le mode codé.
