It is therefore evident that the particular illustrative embodiments disclosed above may be altered or modified and all such variations are considered within the scope and spirit of the present invention.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un revêtement souple ayant une base plane et de multiples côtés s'étendant vers le haut à partir de la base plane. La base et les côtés du revêtement souple définissent une cavité destinée à recevoir des produits alimentaires ou d'autres articles. Le revêtement souple est généralement dimensionné de façon à s'emboîter dans une cavité d'un sac conteneur souple, tel qu'une glacière à flancs souples, un sac de sport, un sac de gymnastique ou un sac à provisions fourre-tout réutilisable. Le revêtement souple apporte une rigidité et une durabilité accrues au sac conteneur souple. Alors qu'une force manuelle déforme le revêtement souple de sa forme d'origine, le revêtement est élastique et possède une mémoire de forme, de telle sorte que lorsque la force sera éliminée, le revêtement reprendra sa forme d'origine. Le revêtement est constitué d'un matériau polymère viscoélastique. En outre, le revêtement peut être fixé au sac conteneur souple ou configuré pour être amovible vis-à-vis de celui-ci.
