Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil de contrôle d'entrée. L'appareil comprend une paire de barrières espacées entre lesquelles est formée une voie de passage. Les barrières sont positionnées de façon adjacente à une entrée de porte pour contrôler l'entrée dans un bâtiment, et la sortie d'un bâtiment, ou analogue. Un bras est monté de façon pivotante et s'étend sur la voie de passage et permet le mouvement libre de personnes dans une direction et limite sélectivement le mouvement dans l'autre direction. Un capteur de mouvement est prévu et un système de contrôle de mouvement est associé au capteur. Le capteur et le système de contrôle de mouvement coopèrent pour permettre sélectivement aux bras de se déplacer jusqu'à une position normalement ouverte pour le trafic normal dans une direction autorisée. Si une personne s'approche de l'appareil, comme pour sortir, ou se déplace dans la mauvaise direction à travers la voie de passage, le capteur détecte le mouvement et effectue le fonctionnement du système de contrôle de mouvement qui bloque le bras pour en empêcher le mouvement pour interdire le mouvement à travers la voie de passage. Un système d'alarme peut être prévu pour alerter du personnel de la possibilité d'un mouvement non autorisé à travers la voie de passage.
