Abstract

Disclosed is an apparatus for opening/shutting a sliding door, which is driven by a transfer screw. The apparatus comprises: a motor; a rotatable lead screw connected to a shaft of the motor, having a spiral groove corresponding to the sliding range of the door being opened/shut; a lead nut which is coupled to the spiral groove of the lead screw, and which moves linearly in accordance with the rotation of the lead screw; a guide rail having a rail portion which forms a sliding track of the door being opened/shut on the line parallel to the center of the lead screw; a roller assembly which has a roller guided by the guide rail, and which supports the door hung thereon and moves together with the door; and a link assembly which interlinks the lead nut and door support means such that the lead nut and the door support means are movable relative to each other, at least in the vertical direction, and can move together. The apparatus easily absorbs vibrations between a driving side and the door within an approximate door width, thus enabling the door to be smoothly opened/shut. That is, the installation width of the apparatus for opening/shutting a sliding door is minimized, and thus a transfer screw driving system can be applied to doors of conventional electric trains with a narrow installation space, and the safety and performance of doors of worn-out electric trains can be effectively improved.
