Abstract

Ein wärmedämmendes Verglasungselement umfasst eine Glasplatten- Anordnimg mit einer ersten äußeren Glasplatte und einer zweiten äußeren Glasplatte, von denen die erste äußere Glasplatte die zweite äußere Glasplatte allseits um eine Überstandfläche überragt, eine Abstandhaltereinrichtung mit Abstandhaltern, die zur Einstellung eines Abstandes zwischen den Glasplatten eingerichtet sind, und eine Randabdichtungseinrichtung, die zur Abdichtung eines Zwischenraums zwischen den Glasplatten gegenüber einer Umgebung eingerichtet ist und einen profilierten Rahmen umfasst, der vakuumdicht an der Überstandfläche der Innenseite der ersten äußeren Glasplatte befestigt ist, wobei das Verglasungselement dazu eingerichtet ist, das in dem Zwischenraum ein gegenüber dem äußeren Atmosphärendruck verminderter Druck gebildet ist, und wobei der Rahmen an einer Außenseite der zweiten äußeren Glasplatte vakuumdicht befestigt ist und am seitlichen Rand der zweiten äußeren Glasplatte einen mit dem Zwischenraum verbundenen Evakuierungsraum bildet, und mindestens eine Evakuierungseinrichtung vorgesehen ist, die zur Evakuierung des Evakuierungsraums durch den Rahmen hindurch angeordnet ist. Es wird auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Verglasungselements beschrieben.
